OpenSea lost my entire NFT collection...

Great looking interface but that's where it ends. I lost 40, yes 40 NFTs, supposedly impossible to lose when the metadata is frozen, as stated on their website. Customer support, well there isn't any. Reported the issue 6 times but only had 1 response from the first report and that was pointless and no help. Even now, my account shows 16 NFTs in a hidden file, so hidden that I can't see them at all !! Stay well away from this site.

Now again 4 more my NTF Bored Bull was stolen. Opensea.io support is of no interest. Never visit at Opensea again. Anyone who spends more than 10,000€ for 1 NFT must think carefully, if this happens again, nobody will help, even with support. Never buy NFT again. it's all just hype and fake.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. I tried to sign up and connected my wallet but they ask for a 6 digit signature which has never been provided or even mentioned before. Then it just stops allowing you to create a profile as you can't provide the signature. Could their support team solve what must be a very common occurrence? No. Not at all. Totally ridiculous. Do not use. A minefield.

Had a bunch of NFTs legitimately stolen…

Had a bunch of NFTs legitimately stolen from my hyper wallet. And they claimed it happened off of their website so they're not responsible. I hope the site crashes and looses all its money. It's nothing but a site full of con artists. Users beware despite opensea's claims of vetting and approving a collections legitimacy before allowing it to be sold, they still won't admit their at fault for allowing a stolen collection to be sold and unfortunately that cost a lot of people a lot of money.

Multiple negative encounters with These scammers

I have had multiple negative encounters on Opensea, but the last few are deeply concerning for anyone thinking of investing in a company that wants to go public. Multiple times I have purchased 4 NFTs from the same collection only to have 2 of them disappear following Opensea confirming them. I tracked the transaction and sent the details to Opensea, and support sent canned messages to me weeks later with no answer and no caring. I warned them of this massive vulnerability in their security and they continue to ignore it. They're running blindly along a cliff and don't seem to be thinking about how they will avert a disaster.

What is Opensea.io playing at now

What is Opensea.io playing at now? They just removed nearly a year's worth of minting, plus my Metamask account suddenly has no Etherium in it.
I was instructed a few days ago to migrate all my collections on Opensea (or else they will be taken down). I dutifully did as instructed. BUT OPENSEA TOOK DOWN ALL MY COLLECTIONS ANYWAY. What sort of people are you?
Or if well-intentioned but incompetent - how unfortunate for all of us who believed in you enough to place our NFTs in your hands - and waste all the hours/days/weeks required to comply with minting and handling individual NFTs & collections. In my case, I am the sole fundraiser (via NFTs) for a useful little charity that saves street kids and trafficked slaves (agendasos.com). Hope you feel a pang in your conscience (if you have one). Now to find an alternative to you, and start all over again. Majonjon

Crap support

Wow! Plenty of crappy reviews here. I wouldn't have bothered to check had it not been for the crap responses received from support after I minted a couple of items, but did not get as far as listing them. Support makes no effort at all. It looks like they don't even read what you send them. You ask one specific question and they answer a different question. E.g. Q: How do you do X? A: Green. Useless. I will mint and sell elsewhere.

I really hope Coinbase NFT marketplace…

I really hope Coinbase NFT marketplace will takeover all of Opensea's business and customers. Opensea is market leader just because they were first to operate a NFT marketplace. They don't have 'serious' competition right now so they dont give a f what their customers think and how their user experience is. Tons of bugs, crashes happens just because this company is greedy and does not prefer to invest more in their servers for optimal user experience. But hopefully this monopoly will come to an end when Coinbase launches their own marketplace and other similar companies will follow.

Copyright violation, initially, greeted with silence...

I have tried many times over the last 2 weeks to get them to remove one of my stolen artworks. My initial email was replied to promptly, advising how I should submit the takedown request.

Since then I've heard nothing. Two digitally signed forms have been sent, a few emails, and a facebook and twitter post have been greeted by silence.

If they had even just acknowledged receipt of the takedown request that would give me a glimmer of confidence, but I've had absolutely nothing!

My current conclusion is that they are only concerned with profits, and to hell with sorting out copyright infringement!

*EDIT* 10th Feb 2022
OpenSea have finally removed the stolen piece and effectively removed another piece that was being sold by another thief / bot, this time quite quickly.

Thanks to Sam @ OpenSea for being very efficient in this respect, and hopefully is a sign that they are upping their game in terms of removing stolen artwork!
