I sent in a form 2809 in November 2025, to add my wife to my health insurance and change my health plan, it's Feb 2026 I have not received or heard anything pertaining to my application, in fact I finally got somebody on the phone after a month trying, and they said they would call me back that evening, that was 3 weeks ago, still nothing. They are awful.

If I could do 0 stars I would

If I could do 0 stars I would. They have no customer service access. You call & they say they have a high call volume and disconnect you. They have everything electronic, so no more paper notification of pension changes, but this is very hard for many of the people getting this benefit. They have to have someone help them & it isn't an easy system to work in. Email they sent was never received.

Definitely a horrible process to help their employees after they retire. Most unfriendly/difficult process I've ever used. They either need to disconnect the customer service phone or get more reps to take care of the people who helped them stay in business

I'm not sure these people even exist.

Honestly I'm not sure these people even exist. My brother in law passed, I am his executor. I've been trying to get his life insurance for his kids. and no one will even answer the phone. I've emailed them, submitted death certificate online and called them possibly 50 times. NO ONE EVER PICKS UP THE PHONE AND YOU CAN'T EVEN LEAVE A MESSAGE. This useless office sucks! DOGE should've gone after these guys.

Awful service! Needs a top to bottom overhaul!

Allow me to join the legion of dissatisfied customers trying to get important assistance from this utterly incompetent agency. I’m a retired veteran and DoD civilian of 33 years and I’ve been trying for 2.5 months to stop my medical benefits (and payments) now that I’m on Medicare. All calls are terminated due to so-called high call volume. It is impossible to get anyone over the phone. Emails receive an unsatisfactory automatic response and there is no way to do anything with medical benefits on their website. The agency is overripe for DOGE and AI. Also check out reviews on yelp.

Unable to get ahold of anyone

Unable to get ahold of anyone. Automated response answers call, directs to the website, and then disconnects. It has been 8 months since I left the civilian ranks and still don't have my final retirement information.

Useful to who? Dealing with rising health insurance cost is terrible.

It has been 09 months since I sent out…

9 months since I sent out all the required documents. When I call customer service they are extremely limited and they tell me they cannot help me I have to send a message to have the management call me for the annuity benefits. They never called me back within the past 09 months I requested a call back more than 15 times and they never called me I filed the supervisor ticket and customer service told me it was approved but still I never get a call back that annuity has not been deposited when I asked for a complaint phone number they gave me an 800 number and the number they gave me when I call there is no one to talk to you cannot leave a message it's just a recording message that loops and does not give you an opportunity to make a complaint. I have never experienced a business or federal government agency that has been so cavalier as OPM. I really believe it's criminal what they are getting away with.

Office of Personnel Management - Executioners!

Population Control 2025 Forward:

Welcome to America!

This is a True Story in Live Time: To Be Aware is to be Alive!

I called a few days ago to find out Why my Health Insurance was cancelled. I informed the person: I am terminally I'll. I have multiple health issues. I cannot get my medication or go to Doctor! I also explained my Husband was sent to a State Hospital because we had no Insurance. That's how I found out my Insurance was Cancelled in August 2024.

The person's response was: "That's Not My Department! I'll make a note and write "Emergency"!. A note!
Imagine facing death, being in constant pain and suffering and you cannot get treated or get treated like your life value is "Less than Zero" by the Federal Agency I gave the best 35 years of my life! And I Retire and the same organization I committed to work for tells me basically: "You are none essential, invisible and you are no longer any use to the United States of America! You can suffer and die now, We don't care! Die and get out the way!

Unbelievable, I lost everything! I'm homeless with Nothing. My health is failing and the answer I get from this dark, miserable person 💔 is: I'll leave a note! It may have been humorous to her but she just signed my Death Certificate! But I understand now: It's called Population Control, when the Government kills and eliminates Non-essential with those they think have the most potential and can be the most influencial!

I pray this was just "One Demon" and not the entire Agency! It is clear, murder, murder, kill, kill...We are the Powerful Government and "We will Rob, Kill or Steal a Person's Will to Live and leave them no ability to flee unless they get on bended knee to worship Thee.

It's really sad and ashamed but I'll continue to pray in Jesus name to set me free from this Situation and "Always Trust God", Not the Nation"!

My only regret is I found out too late!

35 Years of Service: Reward from OPM - Certain Death ☠️💀

Thanks 4 your Service OPM! Now I know 4 sure you are one of them from the dark side! I choose the Lord Jesus Christ! Continue to be You! I will be me, Broken but soon to be Free! There's no more harm you can do to me!

I Rebuke and Cast out All Demons in Jesus name! I Plead the Blood in Jesus name!

And for her to say: “I'll leave a Note and Write Emergency was cruel and intentional to cause a rise and hopefully I die 😂

Glory to God! I'm still here! I hurt, I cry and death is near! I will not fear though I walk through the Valley of Death alone all on my own but I am Not alone!

God is with me in the Fire and through the Storm to save my soul and keep me from harm and safe in His Arms!

Just be aware and watch everything: “Dust Storms; Chemtrails and Insane Weather Change! These are the Last Days; The Signs are Clear: Satan and his Legions End is very Near: It's a Temporary thang. Didn't you hear!
Jesus Walks and He is very Near; He's getting His people and taking them to Glory! Lucifer this Ain't the End of my Story! Glory Glory Glory Glory 😊 🙏 🤗

No Weapon formed against me shall prosper!

Denise Ratliff

Happy Birthday to Me! (06/16)! Courtesy of good ole Uncle Sam 😉 ☠️ ☠️ 💀 💀 😉

What "genius" came up with this idea???

What "genius" came up with the idea that in order to input your date of birth rather than simply inputing the date directly you have to go through a stupid calendar on the screen and reset that calendar back to your birthdate??? So if you were born 78 years ago, you have to push over 78 times to reset that calendar to your date of birth!!!

In addition, the convicted and confusing "two factor authentication" process does NOT work!!! When one tries to link the "gov.link" with the "service.link" and follows the directions for "forgot password for the service link . . . and request resetting of the password" what you get is only and endless "loop" where you are continuously returned on your screen to where you were originally!!! STOP all the nonsense that doesn't work and come up with a better process that actually works to allow a person to access their account!!! What OPM has set up just doesn't work!!!

OPM is unreachable.OPM employees who work the phone lines do not know how to help you they don’t have the knowledge to advise retirees on issues.
I’ve tried over a year to get credit on my annuity for monies paid back to OPM.

OPM retirement services court order benefits division misinformation no information gaslighting no phone call or email returns longer than usual processing times over a year unwillingness to assist retirees spouses in retaining benefits, call center employees hostile and un knowledgeable of claims give misinformation or no information which leads to gaslighting hostel tones and phone conversations and an unwillingness to help retired spouses to retain benefits

Impossible to reach by phone or e mail. Shameful.

If I could give their "services" a ZERO, I would. Trying to get in touch with anyone by phone there for help with my postal annuity is impossible. All you get is a message saying that they are experiencing "very heavy call volume and to call back later". Then, you're disconnected. Not even a call back option. The same with leaving them an e mail message. No response. Deplorable and unacceptable. Should be ashamed of themselves.

OPM and NFC are absolutely pathetic

OPM and NFC are absolutely pathetic! I have been on hold for over 2 hours on 2 separate days, with no option to leave a callback number. I have sent emails, and still no reply. How do they think I can pay my insurance premiums if they don't send me my invoice or log-in credentials to log into their system. This is very disturbing for a FEDERAL AGENCY to be conducting business this way. I think Congress needs to look into this. AWFUL!!!

I mailed OPM form 2809 by mail to the address on their letterhead letting them know I was suspending FEHB plan(sponsored by blue cross/blue shield) in favor of Aetna Medicare Advantra Philly Prime(HMO-POS) but instead received a letter stating that I had canceled my enrollment which was a lie. I've received no response from any party other than Aetna saying my enrollment was canceled. Whatgives? What gives? They were unreachable by phone.

OPM is an expensive, useless joke

Both my wife and I are retired... We manage numerous online banking and other online accounts that require various security measures to access - The ONLY one that we have difficulty accessing is opm services online - Their system is a joke and while we have trouble accessing them, hackers apparently have no such problem.
