Today i had the worst customer…

Today i had the worst customer experience with the sales advisor Dieter. I am a regular customer at optical center so i'm used to buying glasses at this store. In the past there were some great sales advisors Larissa and Lana but they aren't working there anymore.
So i went to the store today to change the glasses of my frame after i had them purchased 2 weeks ago but he refused to help us. He told us it was our responsibility and i kindly asked him about the return policy but he wouldn't respond to that question.
He was also very disrespectful and pointing with his fingers.
I'm never gonna buy any glasses from optical center anymore.
They lost their regular customer.

Better than expected

When I read the reviews I was a bit worried if everything was going to be okay with my order. When I placed the order I didn't get a confirmation email. Luckily when the parcel was sent I got a notification and everything went smoothly after that. The order was deliverd from France to NL within 3 days after purchase without any fuss!

Horrible cheat people

Horrible cheat people. Someone should check this overpriced frames- are they even genuine! Street market sellers have better quality. And their hidden prices! 250pounds for just lenses on top of any 250+ pound frame( there are 4 for less than 100 if you want a cheaper selection) DONT GET SCAMMED BY THEM

Avoid- Damaged frames and little communication

Despite the excellent price of their frames, I would avoid this company. The initial communication was relatively good, however, issues started when (after 2 weeks) I received a damaged pair of Ray-Bans, which had somehow 'slipped' through quality control. Optical Center blamed Luxottica for all the issues; it took 6 weeks to rectify this. During that time I was promised compensation or credit for the delay. After 3 further weeks of waiting, I still have not received anything. Optical Center has also stopped answering my calls. Avoid Optical Center.

Self experience with Company

Ordered a pair of sunglasses which took 2 weeks to arrive so I was having doubts and trying to contact them wasn’t straightforward. I sent an email requesting a status update on my purchase and delivery and received a full response in French! Anyways they arrived today and are great quality and exactly what I expected. Other than the delivery time and lack of customer support and service i am very happy with the product. Not sure I would use this company again until positive progress is made with customer services.

Professional with a personal touch

So I went for an offer for some really premium glasses. Monica working in the collier's wood branch was absolutely informative, patient and the optometrist was very very professional too. I have never seen that clear since 22 years of wearing glasses. Monica saved me money by selecting a suitable offer and guiding me to get the correct lenses and not necessarily expensive. She was pleasant and had a very helping attitude too. She was patient and explained me how a certain type of glass would work and how soon will I adapt to it. She understood the purpose and my use and guided me also to select the frame along with my wife. Thank you Optic Centre for a lovely experience.

Lack of communication after ordering…

Lack of communication after ordering for nearly 4 weeks, no email received to confirm order had been shipped which is what should have happened according to the order confirmation email. Also was not made clear that there would be customs and import fees to be paid before product was released by the courier. It was very misleading being directed to a UK web address and promoting free UK delivery to then receive an additional £50+ in fees to be paid as item was being sent from outside the UK. Product not yet received so I can't comment on quality of the sunglasses.

risky-might not receive your order! poor customer service

I placed a large order (200 euros) with this company without ever trying them before so I was a little nervous. First bad sign, no confirmation email that my order was received. Second bad sign, I reviewed my order (plus my email address) and it showed not the 8 boxes but over 20 boxes, however on a separate page the billing receipt was correct. Just to be sure, I sent them an email asking why their webpage was incorrect and why i hadn't received an email confirmation. The email response back was condescending, telling me the order was o.k. and the mail went to my spams, which was not true. Now over a week later, I receive a phone call from them telling me that none of the credit card payments for Visa or Mastercard on the day that I ordered went through and that they need my credit card again. Plus they advised that they sent me another email, hahaha. Of course, no email and yes, I did verify my email address on their site the first time. They are not professional and offer really poor customer service, plus they obviously have problems programming a website. Their attitude on the phone and by email does not inspire confidence. I ordered from them because they are in France (supposedly) and thought it would be faster and simpler than other European companies I have ordered with in the past. No so!
