Excellent! It is a great programme and easy to follow. Since starting, our son has really progressed consistently and enjoys our little 15mins session every day. We are now doing the follow-on booster programme and are really starting to reap the rewards! To see the difference in his confidence when speaking in comparison to a few months ago is amazing! I would highly recommend Kate's Optima speech programme, it definitely beats being left in limbo on a long SLT waiting list! Also Kate doesn't delay in her replies back to you which is great as I know from personal experience it can be a very stressful and worrying time. It is a brilliant service, great to have as an option well worth a try!

Excellent service provided. Original programme didn’t fully meet my daughter’s needs, but once I had a better understanding of the supports she required Kate provided resources to help me support my little girl. Would highly recommend.

There was no proper diagnosis apart from watching a few videos the parent sent. Therapy should be done on the kids, not for the parents to then teach the kids. It’s true therapy continues at home, but the ground work needs to be done by a person who has the training for it. Parents feels lost, they don’t know what to do.

I thought it was a waste of money. The tool to upload the videos only took up to 11MB and as my child was taking its time the videos were bigger than that size. The test was not relevant to my child as I had to do exercise like asking him to jump but my child doesn't even walk so 90% of the exercises were impossible to do. No follow up as to why I have paid and not uploaded the videos. It was too much work for so much money. Thankfully I found a local SNL who did more appropriate exercises for his age for the assessment.

Unfortunately this programme did not meet my child’s needs - but following the programme was still a positive experience with her.

After being on a list for SLT for a number of years we made the decision to go private. It was the best decision we made. Kate was so easy to deal with and very quick to respond by email and text.
My son thoroughly enjoyed the assessment process. The process is very child friendly and fun.

Highly recommend. My son finds it hard to focus and with optima and especially Ziggy he holds his attention a lot longer than normal which helps progress. We look forward to continuing to use optima!

Optima Speech Therapy provides an user friendly, engaging and quick way to access speech therapy. The online assessment was quick and easy. My four year old daughter engaged happily in the tasks and we received a programme in a short time frame. The therapy tasks are easily completed with everyday materials in the home and my daughter finds them fun and looks forward to her 15 minutes practice each day.

We were so relieved to get a quick and easy assessment done with Kate. Ziggy was a brilliant idea for our 7 year old to engage with. It was such an easy process from start to finish. We would definitely recommend Kate at Optima Speech Therapy. Now we have no concerns about our son. Thanks for all your help Kate.

Fabulous service- would highly recommend. I found this to be a stress-free and fast way of accessing top class speech therapy. From start to finish Kate offers brilliant support. The online referral form was very straightforward and easy to fill out. The speech and language assessment was fun and engaging and was easy to complete with our 3 year old, who can be easily distracted at times. The tasks were realistic and achievable. There was a quick turn around on the assessment report, which was really reassuring. We are currently mid programme and it has been really beneficial and we can see a huge improvement in our son's speech and language. The programme has been so well tailored to meet his needs and the manuals are so colourful and well designed. Every detail has been covered. Instructions for parent/Guardian are so well explained and easy to follow. A huge bonus is that all of this can be done from the comfort of one's own home. I would highly recommend this innovative and excellent service.
