Useless is a compliment

Calling this app "useless" honestly feels like a compliment. It gives you nothing you don’t already know - eBay already tells you how to manage your listings, so why even bother? The worst part is the frustrating requests to log in when you try to check your active listings. And just when you think it couldn’t get worse, they changed the landing page, making it nearly impossible to even log in to your account. Instead of helping, you just get diverted away from eBay and you can’t access your active listings at all.

I’ve never seen an app this bad. eBay certainly doesn’t make it easy - there’s absolutely no clear information on how to disable or delete this nightmare of an app. It took me more than 30 minutes just to figure out I needed to remove the Chrome extension. When I finally did, I deleted it immediately and reported it. This app is such a disappointment - it shouldn’t even be allowed on eBay!

Completely locked out of my listings

Completely locked out of my listings. I keep getting taken to the Optiseller login and subscription page, and a message is sent for help, but my response won't be until tomorrow, so I'm now locked out of my work. I don't even have a subscription!!

Currently my Ebay account is linked…

Currently my Ebay account is linked with optiseller and whenever I am trying to login onto my ebay account it is forcing me to optiseller error page which has made me helpless to do anything on my my own account.
This is really a bad software product design where just linking to your same ebay account and forcing me to not work at all. I will never use Optiseller again.

Optiseller support is responsive and…

Optiseller support is responsive and helpful. I could not maintain my eBay item specifics without Optiseller. After I have my item specifics correct then I use their AI title suggester to tune up my titles for maximum viability on eBay. Optiseller is a required tool for any professional eBay seller.

Helpful tools to identify areas for…

Helpful tools to identify areas for improvement on your eBay store. The tools have enabled me to make changes directly on the platform and push them to eBay which has saved me some time! Previously I would be working on spreadsheets but this saved that hassle.
Great support staff for any questions I had.

I have used Optiseller omn multiple occassions for my client base - they are still the best experts in eBay data extraction and optimising. They have plenty more capabilities, but for me this is where they excel. Always happy to help and jump on a call if I need support, which is useful as a consultant.

The functions look good but are…

The functions look good but are redundant and nothing worth using that ebay don't already provide. Some mysterious, duplicate listings were created by an unknown source during the trial period, causing all sorts of service metric issues. I cannot prove or disprove optiseller had any involvement.

Scam scam scam don't sign up for trial

Scam scam scam. Don't take the trial. I took the trial 3 days ago. I cannot cancel as nobody from the company will answer. I have told my bank to block optiseller from taking payments. BTW the software is mediocre at best. It does nothing you couldnt do yourself.

I have spoken with our Customer Success team and they advised that you submitted a cancellation request on the evening of Friday 7th October when the support team were closed for the week.

When the team returned to the office on Monday 10th October, they replied to you at 10:28am to start the cancellation process and it was then fully cancelled at 2:43pm on the same day.

Poor Customer Service & Can't Cancel

Customer service takes forever to get back to you. They do not respond within the time frame that they state. They lock you into a 12 month recurring subscription making you think it's only a monthly subscription. When you try to cancel because of their poor software they state your subscription cannot be cancelled. Now I have to file charge backs with my bank and cancel my card. Not worth the headache.

I already spoke to Steve at customer service and stated I wanted to cancel my account. After they told me I couldn't they stopped responding to my messages.

The software is pretty useless so i tried to cancel after the trial ended. As the other reviews mentioned, it's a pain to get this company to cancel your subscription. i contacted customer service and they confirmed my account was cancelled. Go forward 4 weeks and they have taken another payment. This company is just fraud or really useless, I really don’t know. I will be contacting the bank and instructing them that I have not authorised the payment. How does eBay recommend such a shoddy outfit? Avoid avoid avoid

Should have read reviews first

Downloaded the app for a 7 day free trial, the features don't actually do anything you can't quickly do yourself within the eBay app, i totally forgot to cancel the trial and it billed me £30 - ok i thought ill use the full features now.... only to find out the features are slow and useless, no training and i spent hours googling how to use the app.

When i got my head around it, i realised eBay themselves offer everything this app offers for free.

Went to cancel and guess what - they hide the feature to close and cancel your account - typical rely on customers to forget billing model! Contacted 'customer support' which was a bot.

Sent them a message to cancel, no response.

Should have read reviews first.

Save yourself the headache and the 30 quid.

AVOID!!

The software is pretty useless so i tried to cancel after the trial ended. As the other reviews mentioned, it's a pain to get this company to cancel your subscription. i had a few emails going back and forth with them about this matter and i told them that i will get my bank involved to stop them from taking money out of my account... when they heard that, they cancelled my account, but still charged me. I wish i knew that they have 100% Negative reviews before getting involved with them - AVOID!!

Worst They didn't have an option to cancel the subscription also we can't even remove our credit card details from it.

Terrible service and product

Terrible service and a mediocre product, that doesn't work as expected.

After eBay stopped supporting this product, I received an email from Optiseller offering a free 1 month trial, by using a code upon sign up to one of their paid subscriptions.

When I signed up, their website only applied a 7 day trial and instead took a monetary amount from the next bill. I informed their support team of this and they didn't reply to my query properly, only to say that this 7 day trial is their offer etc.

Whilst on the trial, the only useful feature is the 'aspect finder +' feature - BUT, this doesn't even work and when you try to submit changes to ebay, it states that you must end your trial to use the feature. So, I tried to end the trial and it stated that I must contact customer services.

The problem is that their customer service is appalling. They have a chat feature on their site, which is pretty much useless as a chat feature, as they typically reply anywhere between 30 minutes and 4 hours, by email.

They couldn't end the trial for me and in the end I just gave up. I asked them to cancel the subscription and 2 days later they reply with an abrupt message stating that it has been cancelled.

Terrible service and product. Don't bother - eBay now has a great tool built in for identifying and updating missing and recommended attributes anyway.... or just look for an optiseller alternative.
