AAA .. should be renamed to "Money for Nothing"

I pay for the "Premier" level of membership. This is my second year as a member. I had never called them for any sort of assistance.

On September 1st towing my camp trailer to go camping it came off the hitch. I got stopped but the trailer hitch was beneath the back of my tow vehicle and stuck there on a main road.

I called AAA and got some AI BS. No person ever answered and no help was offered. The AI thing wanted to waste my time with my name, number, etc. etc.

I called a local tow company and got immediate assistance.

So AAA of Oregon is a total waste of my money. They are a POS organization that does not give refunds. I will never be a part of it again but during the remainder of my membership I plan to call and ask for assistance of some kind every single day.

Sending them money is a futile endeavor that will garner nothing for you. You might as well throw it on the street.
