AWFUL CHINESE TAKEAWAY
I ordered 2 Chinese set meals for 1 £11.50 each from CHINESE.SHANG-HAI CHEF in Lowestoft last night for myself & my friend Debbie consisting of chicken balls n sweet n sour sauce & beef curry n special fried rice. The chicken balls were crispy n hot with a nice s n s dipping sauce but the beef curry n special fried rice was truly awful. The sliced beef was tough n chewy & the curry sauce was far too thick, bland, very claggy n salty like a seasoned builders wall plaster/bricklayers cement and the special fried rice although tasty with plenty of chicken n pork n vegetables was so dry when I turned it out onto my plate it was solid like a house brick, I could have cemented it with the curry sauce. Shang-Hai Chef are supposedly under new ownership if this is the case they can clear off back to Shanghai n try to make a living there cos I ain't gonna waste my money on Chinese curry with a sauce like Wimpy Homes had mixed it in a cement mixer and beef fhat would have made a better leather apron for a blacksmith + they make a delivery charge now whereas the previous owners didn't but the previous owners knew how to cook & the new owners don't. I can make a far better curry sauce with Bistro Chipshop curry sauce granules so folks AVOID THIS BUILDERS SUPPLIES seller like the plague unless u like ur curry sauce made in a cement mixer n special fried rice u could build a house with!!!
