Original Kettlebell is a major disappointment - they lack any professionalism and fail to communicate with customers that have spent good money on their product. Yes Covid is real folks but I have been waiting since 11/22/2020 and have received only two of the four ordered. The two are great and came within 4 weeks not what they stated. I have been in contact with the owner (Sam) and also Rachel (I presume these are the real names) in UK. Yes they are running the US side of the business as well as the UK. I suggest that everyone hit them up on instagram and push for them to send out from UK if they must. I care less that it cost them a lot for shipping not my problem that they cannot run a business with honor.

The kettlebell itself is great and I am very happy with the product. However, the ordering process left a lot to be desired. It took over a month to arrive, which was not the timeline suggested when I ordered. All queries were responded to timeously, in their defence. I would order another one if I knew it would arrive in a reasonable period.

What Original Kettlebell aims to achieve is noble, creating a better product with a better production method. It has to be recognised that COVID-19 demand and some serious manufacturing issues have caused problems, but the biggest issue is the company's inability to get in-gear operationally. Communication from the point of ordering is diabolical. No SLAs are given and any chasers will result in a canned response stating a 3 week lead time (which is rarely met) and then a 'scheduled dispatch at the end of the week'. OK's branding is strong enough that many would forgive the long lead time if only the company took control of its messaging and made a few fairly simple changes while it rides the wave of disruption.

Dont bother ordering you will not receive your kettlebells - been waiting for4 weeks - was promised 7 days on ordering. 14 days when I complained and they are still not here. Total customer disregard

Don't expect to receive your kettlebell anytime soon. I appreciate that Covid restrictions may lead to some delays, however the indication in their advertising is that they are in stock. Do expect for your money to be taken immediately and then hear nothing further whilst you wait week, after week, after week. I cancelled after a month without receiving a single email about order progress or any delays. This is very misleading advertising and extremely poor communication. I did receive my refund very quickly, which most likely indicates that they have indeed taken far far more orders than they have stock for and I would have still been waiting otherwise, without any update. My advice would be to buy elsewhere.

I thought I'd provide a bit of feedback to help others - I ordered my kettlebell on 12th Jan and like others was expecting a quick delivery based on their website stock and taking the funds immediately after ordering.

So the Kettlebell arrived today, 4 weeks after ordering. The product is very good quality and best of all is a small size for a 16kg bell - making it much more versatile for exercises ( my previous one was 14kg and huge in comparison).

I enquired twice during the ordering process as to the ETA on delivery and customer support responded within the same day, which is good at least.

So for anyone thinking of ordering - I'd say go for it, but certainly under current circumstances expect a 4-5 week wait for it to arrive. As mentioned in the title, the overall experience would have been made much better if they had simply been more transparent about delivery times ( I'd have still ordered one anyway ).

Promised 7 day delivery on their website, order not complete and on day 29. Website says they have items in stock, but they don’t. Items or not even made when order is placed. Do not buy from them.

I placed an order on 14 November for 2 kettlebells. The website said they would ship within 1 week, which I found amazing lockdown and all considered. Even if they were very pricy. It took almost 6 weeks to get them - delivered in two shipments - and there were no updates. I checked twice and got very loose promises that were not kept.

Kettle bell still not received well over a month after initial order.

I initially bought the kettle bell from this company to support what I thought was a good UK company. I have regretted it and would recommend going elsewhere.
