Silk and viscose dress shrunk despite following care instructions to professionally dry clean. Oroton customer service declined to assist with replacement or refund, despite the dress being current stock and it’s first laundering. I no longer trust Oroton fabrication, nor their customer service. I have lost $500 on a 3-week old dress.

Bag disintegrated
I bought an overnight bag a few years ago, used it maybe 3 or 4 times and kept it in the protective cover. I took it out again and the leather had degraded so much the stitching had come away all over. It had just disintegrated. I contacted Oroton and they wanted a receipt which I couldn’t locate and regardless of showing photos and I would have brought the product into their store they wouldn’t offer a replacement. I had bought another handbag where the leather had cracked on both handles. I’ll never buy Oroton again, their leather is very bad. They are not a luxury brand.
Great service - delivered as promised
I have now bought several items from Oroton both in store and online. The online service is exellent and I was really happy with the prompt delivery and quality of goods.
Don’t waste your money - poor quality and bad customer care
I’ve been a loyal Oroton customer for years, but after this experience, I won’t ever buy from them again. I bought a $400 handbag that started falling apart just over a year after very light use. The piping on the handle began separating, which is not normal “wear and tear,” especially for a high-contact area that should be built to last. I’ve had better longevity from $30 Kmart bags.
When I contacted customer care, I was brushed off with the excuse that it was general use damage and offered a third-party repairer at my own cost. For a brand that claims to value “quality craftsmanship” and stand behind their products, this was incredibly disappointing and frustrating after spending that sort of money.
Even worse, Oroton doesn’t list any clear warranty terms on their website. Instead, they “assess each case individually,” which is clearly just a way deny any responsibility and avoid standing by their products. It feels intentionally deceptive.
Clearly Oroton quality has significantly declined and there is no customer support. Spend your money elsewhere.
BEWARE fine print & poor quality leather
Dec 2024 during the Black Friday sale I made a purchase when clothes were discounted. The shirts were a bad fit and hard to see from photos there was a slit at sides where you could see skin- especially when tucked in. So I tried to return.
No no no they said. If on sale you can only have an exchange. The products were back to full price. Even then they said no. Exchange only. I am stunned. I order from shops in Australia and overseas during sales and send things back. In fact I often order the Small and Medium because I am in between with the intent to send one back. No problem.
I was forced to use credit and bought stuff I didnt really want. I bought a black leather pouch/clutch with a wrist handle. Wow the workmanship is so bad. I can see inside the glue near zipper. It won't last very long. Big $$$$$, such poor quality - in fact I have bought much cheaper with better workmanship.
So buyer beware. Customer service was well just nasty....horrible company. BEWARE
Belt falling apart - Oroton no help
Im really disappointed with the quality of the belt I purchased, I ordered a belt and within months, the coating has come off causing it to become unwearable as it looks haggard. When I contacted Oroton, they quoted their after sale service period had ended and that they could not help me. This was a special purchase for me and I would expect a belt of that price to last longer than a couple months… I will not be purchasing from this brand again.

Bought from Oroton, worst customer dealing ever, one of the items were out of stock from the order of two items and they refunded without even asking if I want anything else as a replacement or exchange, or if I want to cancel my whole order, and I used a promotional code, which now I am not able to use it for another item since it was just wasted due to out of stock item from their end. Not a great response from their Customer support as they don't have that sort of process to support their customers in these type of scenarios, I would say their online store is a price scam and do not recommend to buy anything from them.
There are great alternatives that you could go with such as Coach, Kate Spade, MK and Furla. They could be a bit expensive but believe me their customer support is far better than Oroton.

I wish I had read the reviews before completing my online purchase. Purchased 6 items, immediately 2 were refunded because not available, who is managing the website? Four delivered, 2 are great and other 2 have a different colour shade than how they appear online. Spent an hour via their chat explaining the issue. Offered a refund but only if I pay for return which is way too expensive compared to the refund amount. Crappy service, in breach of consumer guarantee but expect the customer to pay to have their issue fixed. My advice, do not purchase via the website.

Wow! I purchased a beautiful black leather crossbody bag late one evening and the bag was with me by 9am 2 days later…and it came from Sydney to Auckland. The bag is just as expected and I’m over the moon. Thank you so much
Price manipulation scam
Price manipulation scam , was in store yesterday and a bag I wanted to purchase was marked down , with a price ticket stuck on. Overnight I had think and thought I'd like that bag and looked it up and was excited and they had a further 40% sale that was starting that day. On returning to store they had removed all old mark down stickers and had returned the sale item to full price. Shows me the ethics of the company, will never purchase from you again.
Don’t buy on line: Terrible and dishonest
Terrible! Ordered and paid for a handbag for 320€ on 5 February. Received a confirmation then an email to say that the bag is out of stock (but the order was processed and my money taken). 9th of February: still haven’t been reimbursed. Very dishonest and am getting worried about being reimbursed.
8 days later I still haven’t been reimbursed !
I've always been happy with them
Due to the fact it's a little expensive I buy probably 4-5 items per decade but I don't think I have ever been unhappy with anything I have purchased and I definitely use everything I purchase.

Customer Service Issues
I purchased a bag and 2 pairs of earrings online with a guaranteed 2 day delivery. I did not receive the items within the promised time, No contact was made by Oroton and they did not respond to my email. The order said "awaiting fulfilment" on their website. I emailed again and again no response. Now the websites says 1 pair of earrings is out of stock so I emailed again and ask them to make a change as I need 2 pairs of earrings, not 1. No response so I phone and get voicemail saying they will call me back. I finally get an email response, to my voicemail. Oroton's concern is that they say they did not get my first 2 emails and how did I send them. No mention of my delivery or order issues. It was all about Oroton. My response is to copy and paste my emails to show them what I have written and ask them why they are addressing their issues and not mine. I don't know why they have ignored my issues because they did not respond to that email either. Very, very disappointing.
After many attempts Oroton have finally contacted me and they have offered a solution that is acceptable to me. While the process was frustrating the outcome is good. While this started as a negative review I am updating it to include the positive outcome.

I purchased two wallets to have for gifts but never used them as it was purchased to have to give for a gifts
When I got then I never thought any off them just put them away it was about 12 months
I had to give one for a gift but to my disappointment when a open the box the wallet was all sticky and change in colour
It was disgusting
I did OROTON after sale is poor and disgusting
I email them and send photos even email they CEO Mrs Child but ignored my messages completely and they told me it is an older wallet and there is nothing they can do

Poor Customer Service first the order…
Poor Customer Service first the order did not go through but the money from Afterpay went through when contacted through customer care they replied that their was no stock so the order did not go through.Then since they had already received the money they reorders all the articles and invoiced me for one articles and sent it.When I made a call for refund they said that without invoicing they send all the 3 items and needed proof of the package .Pathetic service will never ever buy online from Oroton
