A superb experience
My wife and I were gifted a 2-hour cruise that included a cream tea, supplied by Suffolk Food Hall. On arrival, the booking was checked, and a cushion was offered for the metal seats. Safety warnings were issued clearly before we left promptly at 2.30 pm. An interesting and amusing commentary was offered as we travelled to our destination, near Pin Mill. At about the same time, we were advised our cream teas were available, either on the upper deck where most were seated, or below where there was a bar. The cream teas were individually boxed for each named person. The contents were of the highest order, fresh and delicious. We were also offered a small orange, and tea or coffee was free, though soft drinks and alcohol could be purchased. The length of the trip was extended by 20 minutes (this is advised in publicity and on board) because of several factors.
Our benefactor, who came with us, considered it excellent value for money, and as we were unaware of the value of the gift, we all considered it an excellent two-hour experience. That we were blessed with excellent weather was a contributing factor.
