We truly had the most magnificent Jordan and Egypt 12-day vacation thanks to Osiris tours. Mr. Mahmoud Gebril’s attention to detail in the organization of our custom itinerary made for a very enjoyable holiday for my parents, myself, and my daughter. Throughout our travels, everything ran seamlessly and everybody involved, from the airport representatives to drivers, security, and historical guides were all wonderful, expert, and friendly individuals.
In Jordan, our driver Ali was amazing – his suggestion to stop at Lebanese House Restaurant between Jerash and Petra was great, probably one of our best meals throughout the trip. Sameer, our guide at Petra, was wonderful. He was knowledgeable, flexible, and went out of his way to make the tour interesting to all our in or group.
In Egypt, our travel coordinator Mr. Moheb and his services (including drivers, and security personnel) were outstanding! We felt safe and well-cared for at all times. On the few occasions when I had to contact Mr. Moheb, he was always available, very pleasant and helpful, and ready to resolve any issues. We were highly impressed by his professionalism.
Mr. Ahmed Fathy, our guide who accompanied us during all of our Egypt tours, was also exceptional. I feel having the same guide throughout the whole trip was superb, as it helped us know what to expect. He is kind, friendly, punctual, extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Egyptian history, flexible, and paid attention to the most minute details at all times. Moreover, Ahmed went above and beyond his duties as a tour guide to make us experience the many things Egypt has to offer. Giza and Saqqara, and the Nile cruise including Abu Simbel, Edfu, Aswan High Dam, Kom Ombo, Luxor, Karnak, Hathesput Temple, Valley of the Kings, and Valley of the Queens, are all a must. Other activities such as the sunset camel ride, the Felucca on the Nile, and in particular the hot air balloon ride over Luxor are unforgettable. Throughout it all, Ahmed was invaluable in assisting my parents who are older so that they too could enjoy the sights. Most importantly he went out of his way to genuinely treat both my parents as if they were his own parents, which was invaluable. And throughout, he even found ways in which to keep my 17 yo daughter engaged too! Incomparable!

Reasonly we went to Egypt. Cairo, Aswan, Luxor. Before we left our country our expectation was high, Osiris is not the cheapest private tours, and we were hoping that we would be satisfied. The outcomes were AMAZING, beyond our expectation, they looked after us from, we landed until we departed, very professional, all the people involved are amazing, friendly, helpfull, kind and bent backwards to make you happy.
Tour guides, Mahmoud Farah, are excellent, very knowledgeable, very details, very kind, very clever, very patients, excellent.
Mahmoud Sultan, very nice, kind, generous, knows what his talking about, he knows the best food in town, he took us to local restsurants, amazing food.
Moheb, the manager, are very kind, nice, polite, loves his food. All the drivers are polite, kind, helpfull. For sure, we will be using OSIRIS TOURS again..very very very happy....thank you Osiris Tours, thank you Moheb, Mahmoud Farah, Mahmoud Sultan, and all the staff...

We just returned in May from a 6-day tour of Egypt with Osiris tours. I am delighted to say our rating for the whole experience was excellent. Better than 5 stars. We could not have been happier with any aspect of the trip. The service was undoubtedly the very best we have ever experienced, and we have made many trips abroad with various travel agencies. One aspect that makes Osiris Tours particularly stand out is the personal service within the airports. In general, the service always went above and beyond our previous expectations and allowed us to just relax and enjoy the beautiful country and people of Egypt. Osiris Tours has now set the bar very high for our future travels! We will travel with this agency again.

The accommodations were most enjoyable and high quality. The Mena House and the Winter Palace both earned their 5 Star ratings in my opinion. The rooms were excellent; their restaurants were quite good and their service staff was always friendly, prompt and professional.

The activities were all superior. I was not sure what to expect with the Valley of the Kings extra tickets, but was completely delighted with the experience. I'm so glad we purchased all the extra admission tickets -- those sights were just NOT to be missed. Also of note, we were always treated like VIPs during each of these activities which was a complete but welcomed surprise. We also enjoyed the sunset camel ride, ballooning over the Valley of the Kings, and the Felucca on the Nile. I would highly recommend each of these activities. My least favorite was the Luxor Sound and Light show. I cannot recommend that activity.

Lastly, the guides were exceptionally wonderful. Moheb was a brilliant travel coordinator. He ensured our safety and happiness, and was always professional. Moheb also ensured we were able to obtain the required Covid testing and reports for our departure which we would not have been able to do on our own. He was always on top of every detail no matter how large or small, and made us always feel welcome and important. Sam toured us through Luxor for 3 days. He was highly knowledgeable and personable. We developed an instant rapport with Sam. He was an exemplary host in a rich and beautiful land. Marwa toured us through Cairo for 2 days. She is keenly intelligent, enthusiastic and passionate about ancient (and modern) Egyptian history. I cannot imagine a better guide. Marwa informed us of volumes of history, but also we connected with her in a deeply personal manner. I cried when we left her for the last time; I am certain she and I would be good friends if I lived in Cairo or she lived in Louisville. I also have to mention our Cairo driver Ashraf. He was professional, but also humorous and engaging. He realized we had an interest in President Sadat so he made sure to drive us by his memorial on the way to the airport. He took a small detour to make sure we got to see the "Egyptian White House". He bought us freshly baked bread as a surprise. He was more than a driver as he went over and above to ensure our experience was meaningful.

Finally a word about Mahmoud, the agency owner. From my initial interaction with him I was impressed by his professionalism. He worked with me briefly and planned a wonderful and comprehensive trip in our allotted timeframe. I know he checked in on us frequently while we were in Egypt. That says a great deal about Osiris Tours and their level of service. I will certainly travel with this agency again to Morocco or Dubai or wherever they have tours, as I am assured the level of service and professionalism will be equal to our trip to Egypt.

Five stars are not enough. 

All the Osiris representatives were incredibly helpful and efficient. We glided through airports and hotels so easily. Also they were friendly, informative, and supportive. 

Our guides, Ahmed Fathy in Cairo and Mahmoud Farah in Luxor, were knowledgeable, informative, flexible, and kind. We left a hat we valued in Luxor accidentally and they’ve sent it to us in time! I had heard that Egyptians were friendly people but that is a vast understatement of what we have experienced. 

In short, everything has been more than wonderful. Many thanks for arranging the trip of my dreams.

I wasn't truthful on my rating. It should have been an 11. Our recent tour in April was a bucket list item for myself, my wife and daughter. There is no other way to visit all the top sights and be totally stress free.

Mahmood Gibril handled all the arrangements, guided us and we were 100% satisfied with the on ground results. Each day was enhanced by our guides, Ahmed and Kalaf to spirit us through the airport (Hashem), customs, COVID testing and normal stresses travel brings. We felt like royalty.

Not to bore you with details, but let me tell you about my ravings to folks since arriving back home. Everyone who I meet I ask them if they have ANY plans that would include Egypt. If so, Osiris is the one and only tour group we would use. The day after arriving home, we were already discussing a return trip with Osiris to visit the GEM and Alexandria.

Enough said, the very best for your peace of mind, money and safety.

Our experience with Osiris Tours was definitely 5 stars, without a doubt! Our guides, Marwa and Khalaf, were incredible and we cannot say enough kind things about them. They were so thoughtful and helpful, and they presented all their knowledge & information exceptionally well. We could have listened to them all day! They also went out of their way to engage our 8-year-old son - who has said more than once since we left that he misses them! It was an emotional moment for us when we parted ways with Marwa and Khalaf, as we felt they had become part of our family in such a short amount of time! We would also like to recognize our driver in Cairo, Khaled, because he was also exceptional in his service. He took a liking to our son and made sure we were well-stocked with water & snacks, in addition to his superb driving skills!

The hotel accommodations were outstanding and exceeded any and all expectations we could have hoped for. These were definitely among the nicest accommodations we have experienced in any of our travels! The staff at all hotels were professional, helpful, and kind; quick to answer any questions or point us in the right direction.

The activities were phenomenal. Every day was a new adventure! We cannot say enough good things about every part of this trip and all of the people we encountered along the way. It truly was a life-changing experience for us and we are forever grateful to Mahmoud and his team for making it happen. We've already told most of our coworkers and family members about Osiris Tours and are recommending you to everyone we know. Osiris Tours brought our dreams of an Egyptian vacation to life!

Thanks so much to Mahmoud for organizing an incredible first-rate excursion to Morocco for my family in March 2022. From the moment I first contacted him, Mahmoud was prompt and professional in all communication. We had never visited Morocco before, so he was quite helpful in crafting a unique itinerary that allowed us to experience many of the country's highlights. The riads we stayed in were top-notch, and our tour guide and driver were simply outstanding. When a few questions arose during the trip itself, I reached out to Mahmoud who immediately addressed them. I would not hesitate to book again with Osiris Tours, and look forward to booking further travels with them!

Mahmoud with Osiris Tours organized an amazing trip for my wife and I. The accommodations were top notch and the guides were friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and focused on giving you the best experience possible!! Cannot recommend enough!

Mahmood. Our trip was amazing! and exceeded expectations. Our guide, Sam was wonderful - informative, entertaining, helpful, kind, and just all around so nice to be with. He was great with the entire group - and I think he figured us out very quickly! The hotels were all really good . The Four Seasons in Giza was lovely, and had the best breakfasts!, The Old Cataract is a grand old lady of a hotel, and The Hilton in Luxor was a beautiful property - my only complaint - and it is truly minor, is that the bathrooms were kind of small (probably after the Four Seasons and the Old Cataract we were completely spoiled!). And all of the activities were great. We were sad that the Ben Ezra Synagogue is under renovation so we were unable to see it - that was disappointing, but not within your control at all! The only activity that we thought was not so good was the Karnak light and sound show - that was kind of a big nothing! It was cool to be in the Temple at night, but that was about the extent of it! The temples, tombs, pyramids and everything else were all spectacular - so much history! Our heads are still swimming with all of the Pharaohs, kings, gods, hieroglyphs etc.! We mayl never get at all straight - and thank goodness I don't need to...

I think our entire group had a great experience. I would rate my experience as 5 stars, unequivocally.

Mahmood made the trip so easy by assisting with all of the planning of the trip. We just had to show up and enjoy. The true definition of a vacation.

Osiris Tours Review: Many Marvelous Mahmouds! Best way to visit Egypt!

I cannot say enough positive things about Osiris Tours, and our entire experience with them in Egypt! This was my first time working with a tour operator, as I have previously planned all my own vacations internationally. However, being in a different part of the world than I am used to, I thought it best to rely on someone with more knowledge of the area. It was the best decision!

Mahmoud Gabril is amazingly organized and helpful with planning the trip beforehand. In only a few e-mails and a short phone call, he created the perfect itinerary for us. He really customizes it for every group and will work with you to make it perfect for you! Prior to leaving, I had several questions, and he always answered my e-mails very quickly, no matter what time or day. We also decided to add on another day, and he was able to amend the itinerary and get us a good price in the process! We later found out he had to confirm with the team in Egypt when making amendments, which made his speedy help all the more impressive.

Before leaving, he provided us a guide with cultural tips, including tipping etiquette, what each city was known for, and what to expect when we landed.

Our time in Egypt itself was amazing! Everyone we met with: airport representative, drivers, and historical guides were all wonderful, expert, and friendly individuals. They ensured that everything ran very smoothly! We had 2 amazing historical guides during our time! (Shoutout to Mahmoud (Sultan) in Cairo and Mahmoud (Hotep) in Luxor, who were wonderful human beings). The guides really made the trip special by teaching us many amazing things (including a few words of Arabic each day), as well as helping to navigate the area during our free time. They sometimes would suggest changes to the itinerary to make things better for us (e.g. let’s plan to do the indoor activity tomorrow instead of the day after, since it will be a scorcher). As another example, we had unseasonably warm weather during our trip, so they helped us make sure to see the outdoor things earlier in the morning, while enjoying the air conditioned indoors in the afternoon. I could not have imagined a better time in Egypt!

I could go on and on about Osiris and all of the partners they work with, but if you are looking to have an amazing time in Egypt, look no further than Osiris Tours! You will not regret it!

This was a special trip. Egypt was on the top of our "bucket list" and we wanted to make sure it was a good experience. Osiris Tours made it just that. With excellent guidance, we worked out a tour that included all the places we wanted to see. The co-ordination between hotels, tour guides, drivers, and internal flights went perfectly - like clockwork. Everyone who has the chance should visit Egypt at some point in their life, and Osiris is the way to do it.

Our trip was definitely 5 stars. Our guides were so knowledgeable and friendly and took excellent care of us. We learned so much about Egyptian history and enjoyed every activity. The hotels were all excellent. The food was excellent. The whole experience was amazing.
We are telling all our friends about our wonderful trip. We hope to come back sometime.

Ahmed Fathy in Cairo and Hamdi in Luxor were very knowledgeable ,insightful and gracious .
All the arrangements also for the hotels ,driving and airport transfers went very smooth.

We definitely picked the right company for our custom tour of Egypt! Mahmoud at Osiris tours worked with us to create an amazing tour featuring the best hotels (4 Seasons Giza, Old Cataract - Aswan, and Hilton Luxor) and a spectacular list of sights to see - all with a private driver and guide!

Our guides, Ahmed Fathy Alsayed in Cairo and Khalaf in Aswan and Luxor were both superb! They were extremely knowledgeable in Egyptology AND also knew the best shops to purchase alabaster, papyrus, carpets, etc. I have trouble bargaining and Khalaf would bargain for me so that I got the best price. I appreciated that greatly!!

On some afternoons we had free time. One day we asked if we could add a tour and they allowed us to do so with only a small charge for the extra time and entrance fees. They were extremely flexible and Khalaf even switched some days around to improve the tour for us.

Both Ahmed and Khalaf took us to restaurants that the locals would eat at so that we could try the true Egyptian Cuisine. We particularly enjoyed the desserts! (Umm Ali was our favorite!)

From the time our tour representative greeted us at the airport and helped us pass through customs/immigration to the time that he put us on the plane to go home we were well taken care of every step of the way! This was our most stress free tour EVER!! We will be back - and we will definitely use Osiris Tours again!!

P.S. I would be remiss if I did not mention the private van drivers. They were all very professional and did a great job! With all of the awful traffic, I really appreciated them greatly!!

We returned from our 9-day tour to Egypt and highly recommend Osiris Tours to others visiting Egypt! Highlights of our tour included visits to the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx in Giza, Phiale Temple in Aswan, Abu Simbel, Kom Ombo Temple, Edfu Temple, multiple sites in Luxor (Valley of the Kings and Queens, Queen Hatshipsut Temple, Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple), and Cairo. A special part of our visit was visiting the churches of Coptic Cairo, which was something that Osiris Tours added for us due to our interest.

Our tour guides were Marwa (in Cairo) and Mahmoud Ali (in Aswan and Luxor) and both were just fantastic! They were so friendly, knowledgeable, and took pride in their work. Marwa had extensive knowledge of Egyptian history and had the answers for any questions we had. Mahmoud went above and beyond, often treating us like family. He made our visit extra special by sharing with us his favorite restaurants and foods along the way.

The beauty of a custom, private guided tour is that sites can be added or removed based on your interest. You can also move at your own pace. Our guides often planned visits to avoid the large flocks of other tourists that would arrive by cruises or large buses. The entire trip went smoothly because someone accompanied us throughout all parts of the trip including through airport security, immigration, hotel check-in, etc.

Osiris Tours made the trip easy as they booked all domestic flights, tickets for historical sites, and hotels. Our one recommendation for travelers is to remember to personally budget an additional generous amount for tips and gratuities once arriving in Egypt. Depending on the length of your trip and experiences, it can add up. While it is never made to feel forced, this is very much part of the culture and a way to show appreciation to the great guides, drivers, hotel staff, etc.

We are overall so thankful for the hospitality and professional service of Osiris Tours.

My husband and I went on our honeymoon to Egypt December 2021, and everything was perfect! Our two tour guides were amazing. We enjoyed having the private tour because it became more personal, especially with all the interesting information about each temple, tomb and tourist site. The entire time we felt completely safe. It was calming knowing we had transportation for each site set up. Also, the hotels were outstanding. We stayed in hotels that we would never have stayed at in the United States.

Overall. I would highly recommend Osiris Tours. It made our first trip to Egypt smooth and easy to travel around Egypt. Out of all the countries I have visited, Egypt is on the top of my favorites list.

Mahmoud was fantastic with our Cairo transfers. A hard worker and waited insistently outside the laboratory for our COVID tests to come back. Above and beyond.

Sultan our guide in Cairo was super. Knowledgeable, kind, interesting. A good person and a huge credit to your team.

Islam was very special. We spent the most time with him, and now consider him a good friend. He could not have been more helpful, honest, caring, and sincere. His son Malik is as cute as can be. He was a HUGE part of our wonderful trip. Total recommend Islam

In all, the trip was extremely smooth and well coordinated. What an incredible educational and culture experience. I was skeptical at first because I had never met Mahmoud Gebril, but his expertise at creating our trip made us believers. We had no hiccups, zero security concerns, and our travel plans went off without a hitch. We would rate this a 5 out of 5. Lodging/accommodations were first rate. We upgraded to business on our in-country flights and this was a good decision.

I spent 11 days with Osiris Tours going from Cairo to Aswan and Luxor through a combination of flights and private drivers. I am so thankful to the Osiris team for putting together an incredible experience for me as a solo traveler who had always wanted to have a deeper historical and cultural understanding of Egypt. From the second I landed until I left, I was fully catered to with staff who were knowledgeable and helpful from the assistants in the airport to the drivers and the Egyptologists guides. I am very thankful to the entire Osiris team for enabling this experience that I will cherish with me for a lifetime. I would also like to thank Hotep who was with me for the bulk of the trip. He truly made the experience by informing me as a passionate and expert guide and giving me options to optimize the experience e.g. getting to sites early prior to crowds and having places entirely to myself especially tombs and temples that made them extra memorable. ur entire trip went EXTREMELY smooth with Osiris! Osiris takes great pride in making sure your trip is well thought out and organized in order to see the great gems of Egypt.
We are a family of 4 - parents are in their 70’s and my boyfriend and I are in our 40’s and 50’s.
We originally had booked our trip almost 2 years ago but due to Covid it was postponed until November of this year.
Mahmoud Gebril had excellent communication with us throughout our 2 year planning stage. Any questions I had over these two years, Mahmoud Gebril answered all our emails within minutes of me sending the email.

In November of this year, we finally made it to Egypt!

Our Egyptologist guide Mahmoud Farah was AMAZING!! He was our guide throughout our entire 10 day journey in Egypt - Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor. Mahmoud Farah knew more about Egyptian history than I ever thought possible. My dad tries to always ask the most difficult questions about history but Mahmoud could always answer every question without hesitation. Honestly, he gave us so much information on history, we really didn’t have many questions because he already covered it. It was really nice having the same guide throughout our journey in Egypt.

Another nice feature with Osiris was how smooth all our transfers went in airports and hotels. The airports in Egypt can be a bit chaotic, but we were really happy that we had airport representatives to guide us through all the chaos. While you do pay a higher price tag for these services, it was well worth the cost to NOT be one of those tourists that were wandering aimlessly and frustrated of where to go in a foreign airport, with 3 other people in tow.
We always book private tours when we travel so we can enjoy ourselves and not be frustrated looking at a map, and strategizing where we need to go. With private local tour guides you get one on one time for questions, you get information on what you are seeing, and there is no navigational stress.

I do recommend having a guide with you at all times just to navigate to the gems of Egypt. Egypt is a bit of a cultural shock as far as cleanliness and trying to avoid the constant stream of people trying to sell you stuff. Also if you are an animal lover and protector like me, that also may be a bit disturbing. I recommend bringing some treats to give the over abundance of animals roaming on the streets and for the camels and horses if you choose to do the rides. You can’t change their practices, but you can at least show some kindness with treats for the animals. Again, no reflection on Osiris, this is just cultural differences.

We also continued our journey to Jordan with Osiris. While we did not have the same tour guide throughout our journey in Jordan, we did have the same driver - Mohammed(I think that is the correct spelling) who was excellent. We also had excellent tour guides in Petra(Sameer) and local tribe guides in Wadi Rum.
I highly recommend seeing Petra, it was every bit as amazing as we expected.

Where to start??? AMAZING TRIP, and we could not have done it without Mahmoud and Osiris Tours. After hearing what we were interested in, Mahmoud coordinated a trip to Cairo, Aswan/Abu Simbel/Luxor, and back to Cairo.

To start, we were greeted by Adli at the airport, who quickly helped us BLOW through the lines and visa process. We literally passed hundreds of people and didn't have to do anything but give him our passports. Same experience with Morgany and Gamal at various points in the trip. This service alone was worth half the trip price! The amount of hassle and stress we avoided was huge. Not to mention they were all extremely nice, helpful, wonderful people who were so glad we were there to experience their country.

Ahmed Fathy took us to the pyramids, Saqqara, on a food tour of downtown Cairo, the Egyptian museum, Khan el Kalili, and the Mohammed Ali mosque. He was extremely knowledgeable and made everything so interesting. My husband needed some medication, so he went to a pharmacy and brought it to us! He never failed to ask what we needed, pick a perfect place to eat, show up with bottles of water, make suggestions, and help us have a perfect time.

Mahmoud (Hoteb) showed us around Aswan and Luxor, including Abu Simbel, Philae temple, a felucca ride, Nubian village, Valley of Kings/Queens, Hatshepsut, Edfu, Kom Ombo, Karnak, and Luxor temple. Again, he was always able to provide everything we needed, and the amount of knowledge he has was unbelievable! My husband got sick, and when we were worried it was COVID, he took us to a doctor who was able to confirm that it wasn't. He always knew the great places to eat and what to order. He's also so funny and easy to get along with. He made our trip, and we are proud that he is our habibi!

The DRIVERS... wow! Driving in Egypt is an experience, and we were so thankful to have Mena and Islam to keep us safe. They were complete rock stars.

The bottom line was that we never wanted for anything. Everything was handled for us and we had nothing to stress about. Even the COVID test to come home was arranged... we didn't even have to get out of the car! Thank you so much to Osiris Tours and all the wonderful people who made our trip amazing.
