Very disappointing experience. The shop processed a refund without confirming with me first. I was not asked or informed before the refund was issued. Communication was poor, and this caused unnecessary inconvenience. I expected better customer service and proper confirmation before taking action.

I orders exotic fruit for Saturday the 2nd, received an email a day before to say that some of the items are not available and it has been refunded which was so annoying as I didn’t have enough time to order from elsewhere!
Secondly which is the worst part I have order fresh pomegranate seeds and I have received an old soaking in its juice one which I recon was frozen and it has been defrosted as no way on earth this was fresh, I buy pomegranate most of the time and get the seeds out but as I had a party I thought I will get them ready. Tried to call the company and left a message and sent them 2 emails yet no answer and I even took a photo of what they have sent. Pls don’t buy from them as they are unfortunately not reliable at all.

My experience was that my order arrived at 7.40 am on a Saturday morning. The driver rang the bell, left the order on the doorstep and disappeared into his van. Three items were missing but there was no delivery note in the box and I had received no email from the company. One of the missing items appeared on the doorstep 45 mins later. Would the other 2 appear I wondered? I got through to the company after 8.30am and was told that one product was not available from the butcher and the other shouldn't have been on the website.
I later received an email giving me a refund for the missing items.
For me the inconvenience outweighed any advantages.
Maybe people were prepared to accept this service during lockdown when the company was first set up. However, if they want to sell to the general public nowadays, they need to update their procedures

I am a little confused, disappointed, and baffled regarding how items are shipped.
The items were handed to me as seen in the attached picture . No cool bag or ice pack?? The box was open as seen in the picture.
Is this standard??
The delivery person even asked me if this is what I ordered!!!

Hi Tafari,
We deliver all orders in our own fleet of fully refrigerated vehicles which is why the boxes are not sealed and why we don’t use cool bags or icepacks. Our drivers check with all our customers before leaving that everything looks correct with their order as it may be that they've left something on the van and would be able to fix the problem straight away.
I have spoken with Catherine, our Customer Service Manager, who replied to you shortly after your email to customer services back in June and she explained the above, but I thought I'd also reply here in case you hadn't seen that message.
Apologies for such a late reply, as you can see, we don't use Trustpilot but instead use Google Customer Reviews and I hadn't noticed your review until just now and didn’t receive notification from Trustpilot (something I will investigate and try and fix).
We’ve made over 100 thousand home deliveries since we started the service back in March 2020, at the beginning of the Covid pandemic, and have received thousands of amazing reviews from our customers and so I’m extremely sorry that yours was a negative experience. I’ve noticed from our records that you didn’t request a refund on the products you received from us so I’m assuming that after Catherine’s email to you these were satisfactory, however if this is not the case then please get in touch with us at osolocal2u@osolocal.com and we can arrange for a refund to be processed.
