No way to downgrade the account. They just kept my money and won't issue a refund. They say it's a 'systems issue' -- as if they can't easily resolve this. Avoid -- they're just trying to take your money!

I really liked the automated system that provides

I cancelled my Otter subscription, yet they still charged my debit card. This feels like a scam. I reached out to support via email, but they stopped responding the moment I asked about the unauthorized charge. Extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability. Be careful if you link your payment method!

I really like the summarized transcription. Amazingly accurate. I do wish it could transcribe Teams calls taken on iPhone, this functionality would be game changing.

It worked as expected and fast

Otter.ai is awesome. The notes are extremely thorough and I love the daily reminder of upcoming meetings. Great assistance tool!

It's basically a virus.

It will email your entire org inviting them to the platform implying the org wants them to join. If you have a single paid plan it then adds everyone to that paid platform.

The billing email gives you a support email, the support email autoreplies telling you to contact someone else.

Utterly utterly dishonest business practives.

At a wedding ceremony it did not transcribe instantly so i was unable to hear or READ what was happening.
I think I have wasted my money or can otter advise me otherwise

I love otter.ai, since I started using their platform, Im more efficient and accountable, as everything I promise I deliver.

I love the updates
So I asked the Otter team to make it easier to pull timestamps from summaries so I could no where the piece of information existed in the timestamp. Customer service were really polite and said they'd consider it. Just opened my Otter today to find that it had been added. SO HELPFUL. I'm training to be a UX/UI designer - so this is one of the best opportunities to see how customer engagement can create a better experience.

Simple to use, very intuitive and supportive.

Otter.AI invaded my entire company through my account. Otter.AI attached its agents to all company meetings, though I never permitted this. Otter.AI invited every member of the company to join their service using my name. Again, this was never authorized. No customer support. CROOKS. LIARS. STAY AWAY.

It is very helpful for staying focused during your meetings and provides a significant time-saving advantage

Joined the free trial and there is absolutely NO way to cancel the trail such that it doesn't automatically renew into a subscription. This is criminal and needs to be reported.

Trustworthy transcription and note-taking services. High quality of notes, clear privacy policies and fantastic storage capacity even in e free version. The customer support is polite and responsive to my individual needs. So far, I have only had a positive experience with this service. It's easy to use and easy to navigate, even for people with minor visual impairments like me. Have a nice day.

I enjoy the service that otter.ai provides, although there are a few major drawbacks:

- AI chat frustratingly exaggerates what you get for your money. Continuously claiming that it can help edit transcriptions to clean up conversations when I asked Customer Support who have confirmed it has no such functionality, was something I discovered after a month of use. Very annoying!

- Attributing ends of sentences to the next speaker in many calls, even with an appreciable pause. For example, person A saying "How are you?" and person B replying "I'm fine, thanks" usually appears in otter.ai transcripts as person A saying "How are" and person B replying "you. I'm fine thanks" or similar. This is the sort of thing where I'd expect AI to be able to help clean it up, and because the bot actually can't physically do anything to transcripts, I'm spending a lot of time manually dealing with these, or even asking other AI to do it (ChatGPT does it reasonably well). Otter should really be on top of this.

Overall, a solid 3 stars. It saves time, and I'm OK with the service, but it's not as good as advertised.

Their product is not as advertised to be and still has bugs that break the core features. Also, their pricing is not transparent and with customer support is non existent.

First time user, love it already. The comprehensive summary’s outstanding, quick, & accurate. Just need to add more languages to the library.
