I have used the Oura ring for 4.5 months. During that time, I have experienced almost nonstop technical issues. While on wifi and in the most optimal conditions, the ring stops syncing, stops collecting data, stops connecting, won’t track sleep, won’t track stress, etc. Every time I contact customer support I’m waiting either 12-18hrs for email, or an hour on multiple holds on chat. Then a few weeks ago the ring stopped working 50% of the time and the battery died around 30-40% per day. I spent around 20hrs total communicating with customer service, troubleshooting all the issues until they finally admitted the issue wasn’t going to be fixed because my ring was defective. After I complained long enough, they said they would send a new ring. I spent over an hour back and forth and on hold giving them the additional necessary information for them to send the new ring. I received the new ring the next week in a flat envelope, no protection, instructions, etc. just a ring in a small plastic envelope like I purchased it from Temu. Of course, after hours of confirmation, it was the wrong size. I spent another hour explaining this to customer service, who then informed me I would need to drive 40min to a fed ex (I live in a rural area) to drop off their mistake. I won’t be doing that. I’m done with Oura and will purchase from another company with products that work and customer service that is timely and appropriate. This is beyond ridiculous, please buy something else unless you enjoy this type of relationship. Disgusted.

My Oura ring suddenly stopped working due to battery issues and I was worried I’d have no help due to being outside the warranty window but when I emailed support and Gus who helped offered me several options one of which included upgrading to the newer model with a discount that I happily took. My ring recently had an issue with batterie, it wouldn’t survive the night and I would get no sleep data, I contacted Oura customer service and within minutes I had a replacement ring in the post, and they sent me the upgraded ring as mine is the older model.

Since the Gen 3 is no longer produced, they immediately offered me a free upgrade to the Gen 4. No hassle, no back‑and‑forth, just a clear and generous solution. They are amazing at Oura!!! My original ring was under going some issues so I coached support for help. They ran a diagnostic test and sent over a new ring as soon as possible. A few months later my new ring started experiencing issues. I brought it up and the immediately replaced the ring and gave me 3 months free for the membership. This is so kind and the support is the best. Love Oura!!
Shockingly bad customer service!
Bought the Ring 4 and after a round trip of 30 miles to collect it from Currys, started the process ( as I've done before with a Apple watch) of installing the app and registering so I could set up an account and use the ring.
Several hours later - after being unable to log in and receiving messages such as "Something went wrong and this log in link is invalid please try again error code....." which I repeated 6 times and after no success then found that the robot chat line was absolutely useless .
I then tried to speak to an actual person( you have make an appointment) only to be told "sorry no appointments are available, try again later!"
So this morning I did only to get the same unhelpful and pleased with itself message
I will now be making another 30mile round trip to return the ring tommorrow.
I had overcome my aversion to their subscription thinking it would mean better service.

I found a ring. I tried multiple times to contact your customer services as you say on your website to help return the ring to its owner.
You AI script doesn’t connect with anyone. It doesn’t allow calls or display a phone number.
This high priced ring could have been returned by me to the owner had you been willing to engage in any meaningful way. You want my email address etc which I’m not prepared to give you. Your customers should leave you for your terrible and excremental performance.
The result is what? Well I can’t ID the owner with you. The owner cannot get the ring without me, and you don’t care to engage at all.
So, customers of Oura, that ring is in the bin. Multiple hundred of pounds of someone’s money all because you idiots can’t answer any comms. A business that doesn’t want people to contact them.

My ring stopped syncing and after trying all troubleshooting advice online I contacted via the chat option. Within minutes they had logged into my ring and advised there was a fault and they would send me a new ring. I have had my ring for over 2 years so to have this offer of immediate replacement was so appreciated as they are very expensive as I am in Australia and I couldnt have afforded to replace. I absolutely will continue to recommend to friends and family even more than I already do!

Oura has not only a great product, but their customer service is top notch as well. I have lost over 100# and my current ring no longer fits. I contacted customer service as I had paid for a full year of data tracking and was wondering if I could get a refund. I have lost my job and really couldn't affor a new ring right now. They got back to me and offered me an unbeatable deal on a new ring or a full refund of my payment. Even though I am unemployed I couldn't say no to the offer.
