I am writing to share my recent experience with Outfittery, a company I have relied on for quality clothing and reliable service. My latest interaction highlighted significant issues in their customer service and billing processes, which were eventually resolved, but not without some challenges.
I placed an order with Outfittery based on an automated 3-monthly shipment plan. I received the package promptly and decided to keep three out of the 12 items.
The remaining items were returned, and I registered the return in the Outfittery app. I used PostNL for the return shipment and received confirmation that the package was delivered to the correct address.
Despite providing clear evidence of the return, including the PostNL shipping confirmation and a screenshot showing the delivery, I initially encountered obstacles in resolving the billing discrepancy. Outfittery was unresponsive to my emails and phone calls, which were redirected to an automated system. Riverty, the company handling Outfittery's invoicing, was also unhelpful, insisting on a payment plan for the full amount, including the cost of the returned items.
However, after posting my initial review, Outfittery responded promptly and offered a satisfactory resolution to my issue. They offered to correct the invoice to reflect the returned items, and I was able to pay the correct amount for the items I kept.
While my experience was initially frustrating, I appreciate that Outfittery addressed my concerns and resolved the issue.
I hope this review helps others make an informed decision and prompts Outfittery to continue enhancing their service.
One side-note, Outfittery is using Riverty for their billing process and the role that Riverty plays in the issue resolution raises concerns and is not a good business practice.
They do not listen to reasoning and only go after the consumer, without supplying feedback or consulting their client (Outfittery) on the concerns raised by the consumer. Riverty seem not to follow any business ethics as their business model clearly is to escalate ASAP which allows them to add extra charges to increase their profit. In my opinion, these kind of companies shall not be allowed to be in business.

More time for the things you care the most and less for fashion
I really like the fact that I don't need to think anymore about fashion! I just subscribe once and every 3 months I get a personalize box at home. I keep what I want and the rest I send it back. I have now more time for family and sport rather than spending my Saturday evening in a crowded shopping mall. I definitely recommend that. I hope that soon they launch kids so all the family is served!

I am appalled at this company’s poor service. I was a stitchfix customer previously and was surprised when I was sent a box from outfittery that I did not ask for. I immediately returned the box obtaining proof of purchase. Since then I have been bombarded with emails demanding payment. I have replied several times to their email address and finance department giving them the tracking number yet I have had no response. This morning I receive a final demand by post!!! I am now considering reporting this company to trading standards.

Great service
I was in doubt wether to use this service or not due to the comments I had read. Finally, I decided to give it a try since a friend recommended it. I have to say that my experience was very positive. My stylist did help me a lot to get rid of the monochrome palette and advised me to try on some pieces in colours I wouldn’t normally choose. The result was excellent and kept most of the pieces received! I called customer service and they explained step by step the return procedure. They were very helpful and everything went pretty smooth!

I don't have time to go shopping but still like to look good, so this is ideal. I receive my order at home, can try it and send back what I don't want to keep. Never had an issue with them so I can recommend Outfittery.

I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience in Outfittery.I never imagined that through such an easy process ,I would have for free a personal stylist.They respected my budget and even though I started this service to save time since I don't like shopping for myself now after a long time using it ,I would say I am addicted.I can update anytime I want my preferences and my personal stylist and the customer support have helped me many times through this process.I won't forget a wedding I attended last October and everyone was asking me where I bought my outfit from.I have already recommended it to family and friends and looking forward for my next box!!!

This has brought me to tears
This has brought me to tears. I've never signed up to Outfittery, they've sent clothes to my old address, replied to one out of 10 emails I've sent them to request that they collect the box, and now have charged me £400 which has taken me into my overdraft for the month. The clothes they sent were completely unsolicited and also, just to rub salt into the wound, not even nice.

I ordered from Stich fix 3 years ago and then out of the blue received a box from Outfittery. I returned the entire box and then received an email saying I had retained one item and needed to pay £70. I have emailed them twice to say this is absolutely not the case and inviting them to call me to discuss. I haven't had any reply and today received a threatening email about moving my debt to a debt collection company. I am typing this while sitting on hold trying to get through to them on the phone, having read the other reviews I am not hopeful and will no doubt have to raise a case with the Ombudsman.

Worst costumer service
I ordered a lot already with outfittry. Never had huge problems. But now i was send a box that i never recieved. I contacted them 4x via mail, tried to phone 10 different numbers but don't get any answer.
Now today my paypal charged me more then 900 euros for something i never recieved.
Contact with them is impossible!

My experience with Outfittery
I used the service of Outfittery for years and it has made my life easier since I am not the clothes shopping person. Also nice to keep in touch with my personal stylist since she already knows me quite well and also helping out with Outfits for special events/occasions. The good thing they are flexible according to your request no matter if it is about budget range or particular items. If I think about it, I saved a ridiculous amount of time and would not really want to go back to walk into several stores for an Outfit and be than not really happy about the result and wasted time.
