Fraudulent billing ?
This company supplied my (rented) home with energy for 7 and a half months in 2025. I paid monthly bills of a few hundred pounds a time during the period and provided meter readings at check out in August 2025.
In January 2026 I was provided with a final settlement bill of £125 which I paid albeit somewhat reluctantly, as 5 months had elapsed. Now in April 2026 I have astonishingly been presented with another bill of £935 and been sent demands in red block letters with little or no detailed explanation .
I have asked questions but not received meaningful answers . It is therefore my view that this company doesn’t know what it’s doing on billing and has very poor client service. My advice is steer clear.
Update: they’ve now told me the £125 bill was an error. They also told me the meter reading that they got their numbers from was submitted in August 2026. Crazy.
Further update:@‘Team Outfox’ I note that posting on Trust Pilot is necessary to generate a better quality of response. It’s a pity that we have to do this in public but c’est la vie. However, the response is still highly unsatisfactory . It’s not ‘frustrating’ to receive a NINE HUNDRED AND THIRTY FIVE POUNDS bill ‘months later’ , it’s actually both distressing and ridiculous. And it’s not just ‘months’ , it’s 8 (EIGHT) MONTHS! And 3 (THREE ) MONTHS AFTER THE ‘FINAL BILL’ which itself was 5 (FIVE) MONTHS after the final meter reading was taken. WTF!
