I have no trust in this company. I may update this once my items actually review but it will probably go down not up. They have yet to show up in the assigned time slot and no text or call to let me know. They keep calling the wrong number, they call the back up number first every time. They sent a payment due email then once they loaded my items told me a higher amount. Even though I repeatedly said I was moving to the second floor suddenly they are charging $75, should that not have been in the original quote rather than a 18 hours before hand update? I am sitting here writing this review waiting for either the truck to show up or a call back about a new time. The movers seemed to have done a great job loading so no issues with that but the rest of company leaves much to be desired.

Gave me so much info and helped with another company that tried to make moving companies look bad. Nicko was great. Izzy is a beast and at the top of his game. The move went like it should and then some. Would recommend them to anyone and everyone. Give Izzy a raise!!!

Unethical thieves. Fraudulent every step of this transaction. A month later my property is still undelivered with no scheduled delivery date. They surcharge after pick up, demand signatures under duress and are 100% non responsive. Do not use Overland Vanlines.

They essentially stole hundreds of dollars of property from me. Moved my college student daughter to her new school. They show up 5 hours late(9:30 PM), take 9 manhours to load 1 bedroom. They are rude, crude and demanded a 30% increase before the would start, then added close to $500 without our knowledge. Intimidated and threatened my daughter to sign an evaluation form which they then filled out infront of her. On delivery they demanded extra pay saying the 3 floor walk up was actually 5 floors to get to the 3rd floor. Hundreds of dollars worth of our property which they did puck up were not delivered. They offer essentially no compensation to us, no attempts to resolve the issue. The two words i would use for this company are liars and thieves

They were very professional. Always calling and checking with excellent customer service by Veronica. The guys who came to deliver were also very good. Made sure everything was in place and assembled. We didn’t have to tell them anything, and they were courteous. Would definitely recommend and will surely call them again when needed!

This company is a scam. I was robbed of $1,450 by the movers and they forged my signature on falsified receipt numbers. Kevin was rude to my father and I as we tried to explain to him that their movers are criminals and a crime was committed. They pocketed my money for their own gain and charged me a total of $3,500 when I was originally quoted $1,450 for the entire job. I will be seeking to press charges for forgery and theft.

This was the worst moving service I have ever dealt with. Their “motto” is on time service, accurate pricing and always professional- they are none of these things in any way. They were hours late, their “crew” of 3 people went down to 2 people because one of them just stopped working after like 30 minutes so it took them over nine hours to load our already packed up house. Then they couldn’t fit everything after assuring us when they got there over and over again that it would fit no problem. Then sent us an invoice for 140% above their original quote - when I requested a credit to at least cover the additional $2,500 we incurred for a hotel, flight and uhaul to complete the job we hired THEM to do they refused saying they couldn’t do that because “accounting would flag it” and their “owner is hands off” because he owns several business (of which I can’t imagine are well run business either because this place is a money sucking joke) - and then threatened to hold our stuff hostage until we made yet an additional $1500 payment. Do not ever - EVER hire this shady, mismanaged, poorly run, poor integrity and terrible ethics excuse for a “company”. Filed a complaint with the BBB - they should not be allowed to operate.

It was really hard finding a mover who met my criteria: I needed someone to do a small move, store my boxes for an un-determined number of months, and then ship everything across the country when I was ready. Most other movers either had a minimum move size several thousand dollars higher than I was looking for, offered no storage, and/or couldn't handle a cross country move. I was skeptical when Overland came in at a reasonable price (for my 1-bedroom's worth of stuff) and also offered month-to-month storage, but Tim sounded like a stand-up guy over the phone so I rolled the dice.

The move ended up going really smoothly on both ends. Movers were on time, nothing was lost, and I was able to check in monthly on my items and to pay for storage. Billing was accurate, there weren't any odd surprises, and I didn't receive complaints from building management or neighbors. A huge thank you to Overland for making my move less stressful than it could have been during the crazy year that was 2020.

I moved from DC to Central Florida last July and Tim and the whole team were great to work with. They packed my whole apartment and delivered it to the new location within the allocated time frame. This was my first time using a cross country moving service so I was quite pleased with the ease of the process. Tim was fantastic in the step by step and then on moving day, they took care of pretty much everything. 10 days later, at the latter half of the delivery window, my stuff arrived in Florida. As for my first big move like this, no complaints.

Overland Van Lines is a great moving company! They made the moving process less confusing and less stressful. Their movers were great to work with! I would definitely consider using them for a move, again. The movers were professional and took great pride in making sure our belongings were packaged with care. They arrived to us on time and damage free.
