They without warning shut email down…

They without warning shut email down for apparently no reason and no recourse my account just suddenly doesn't exist, I will never trust Yahoo as a legitimate email service provider ever again be very careful relying on them as a service provider as it could be you next, if you're going to use Yahoo mail expect to lose everything in your email without warning use at own peril.

They keep changing the format with…

They keep changing the format with things like a preread of your private email. So basically they've created a secondary file of your email so they can preview it and show it to you before you actually look at the email yourself.
Something about this just seems extremely unethical.
They fill your inbox with ads and then want to charge you to remove them. Extortion or strong arming.
Like gangsters selling insurance.
Now they want you to play some stupid game based on how often you check and clear your emails.
Then, waste your time with notifications on how well you're doing.🤦 What buffooning clowns! What are we, six years old, trying to get stars from the teacher? 🤦
It's obvious children are running Yahoo because to them everything has to become some kind of game. It's also a shame they advertise so much TEMU, garbage from China, an arch enemy of the United States that does everything it can to undermine us.
Ethical and moral sellout.

Yahoo mail is finished

Yahoo mail isnt trusted mail anymore. The main reason is losing old emails during deletion of "drafts". Also delete mail doesnt go to deleted item folder. We will migrate to gmail.

More Proof Yahoo Mail Doesn't Care About Us

According to Trust Pilot, Yahoo hasn't replied to negative reviews for the past 12 months. Yahoo hasn’t flagged any reviews in the past 12 months. This is just more proof the customer experience is awful. They spend as much time trying to get me to buy the plus service for a monthly fee. As much aggravation they've caused me they should pay me every month for every item that should have went to speak but didn't and charge them $50 for each one they ignore. People need to know this. Just look at the ratings they speak volumes. I think the old AOL is a better choice that Yahoo who should sell drinks not emails.

This is beyond frustrating

This is beyond frustrating. Yahoo Mail is asking me to verify my account using a phone number I haven’t had in over 5 YEARS — and that is the ONLY option they are giving me.

How does that make any sense? People change phone numbers all the time. There should be multiple ways to verify your identity, especially when it comes to accessing important personal and business emails.

Now I’m completely locked out of my account (americandealerlic…….), and even after contacting support and providing my information, they are telling me there’s nothing they can do.

This is a serious failure in their account recovery system. If your recovery info is outdated, you’re basically out of luck — even if you are the real owner.

I would NOT trust Yahoo Mail with anything important. Their security system actually locks out legitimate users while offering no real solution.

NEVER USE YAHOO MAIL

yahoo locked my 3 accounts and the only way to maybe get them back is give all my credit card info, PAY A FEE, and GIVE A COPY of my drivers license to what sounds like a girl in india. THE OLD YAHOO MAIL I USED FOR YEARS IS GONE.

Yahoo recently dropped their storage…

Yahoo recently dropped their storage limit for email users from 1TB to 20GB. Above 20 GB you have to pay for premium. Fine, this is their right to do this.

However, the current platform there is no way to reduce storage. You can only delete 100 emails at a time. I have used this for over 20 years and have over 500,000 emails, there is no way I can get below the limit.

I am willing to clean up my inbox but Yahoo has now given us inbox constraints without the tools to react appropriately.

I would recommend not starting any new accounts with Yahoo.

Orwellian and totalitarian behaviour...

They switch people to some disasterous new version and do not allow anyone to go back as well as not listening to any of their customers.

IF YOU WANT EMAIL WITH THE COMPANY THAT CHOOSE TO DO WHAT THEY WANT TO YOUR ACCOUNT WITHOUT YOUR AGREEMENT - IT IS A GOOD CHOICE!

Yahoo please HELP with my catch 22 situation

Dear friends at YAHOO

I am unable to log in my Yahoo email since Jan 3/25 & i am unable to get verification code from my supposed verification AOL account which is also asking me to verify by logging into this Yahoo email

As a result, I am totally stuck as I simply cannot do any verification unless I can at least log into either of these Yahoo or AOL account as they have each other as the only verification email

PLEASE HELP

I can recall most info of my the Yahoo email account that I have been using sine 2012 just to prove that I have been using this yahoo email for 14 years

I added recovery email to my other 2 Yahoo email accounts just now so they will have more than 1 recovery email as this is hugely frustrating to me & AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED THERE ARE NO SUSPIOUS ACTIVIES AS I AM HIGHLY CONCERNED ABOUT ONLINE SECURITY AS WELL

Thank you

locked me out of my email account customer service will not help

Tried to log into my account after a year or so. They locked me out of my account because I changed my phone number and cannot verify by phone. Called customer service and it's a rude person from another country. She said there's nothing we can do for you. So now I'm locked out for good. For no reason. I put in my correct password and everything but since it's been a while they will not let me access my account.

Completely unreliable and substandard service ..

For the past three months, my attempts to access mailbox/yahoo account 's*******@yahoo.com' have been unsuccessful - I no longer receive a text message with the two-step verification code required for a particular login.
My primary cell phone number is registered in Ukraine and linked to my 'yahoo.com' account.
I have verified that this number is available for other international services and receives text messages
- the problem occurs only with the YAHOO account.
The system just 'ignores' my login attempts and does NOT send me verification codes.
