Overwatch Precision

Once again, I'm back on Trustpilot because there are fishy things going on with reviews on their site! It's actually more of a data farming process.. I get an email to submit a review, but I'm forced to upload a picture or video. Then after giving the review, I'm questioned on what other different products I own (not related to what OWP sells) and yes, you have to answer.... Then you have to give your name, email and social media handles.. I quote, "We need your email so we can inform you about the status of your submission." Why would there be a status to begin with? Yeah, data farming.. Oh lets not forget the bribery of 10% off the next purchase of $115 or more!!! Anyways, onward...

This is my 1st trigger from Overwatch Precision. I came from another leading brand because their website wouldn't process my order so their loss..

There are some key points/differences in the installation/parts I'd like to touch base on.

OWP comes with the trigger bar. Actually, I didn't even notice it did until I started installing it. By reflex, because I'm a seasoned pro when it comes to M&Ps, I took the S&W trigger off of the trigger bar to prep it because I'm so used to the other leading brand not coming with one and having to install the trigger onto the trigger bar. This is a very big plus to me and just may have won me over since it eliminates a very tedious, least favorite process and the need to other tools.

The installation video you get on the back of the package via QR code, is absolute trash. There are no close up views showing the detail you need in some parts of the installation.. 1st timers, really should have those details. Luckily, the entire M&P line is practically identical and you can find in detail videos.

There was a part missing that came with the other leading brand. A little plastic slug that pre-installs the trigger return spring in place so you can slide the pin in easily without the hassle of trying to get the trigger return spring onto the pin, possibly damaging it in the process... Now, it wasn't really "missing" in the sense that it should have been there. It's missing in the sense that they should include something like that because it makes installation that much easier and less chance of damaging things... Again, a 1st timer would have massive issues if they aren't that savvy with thinking outside of the box. I, have done several M&P triggers so I already have precise equipment to take care of such a thing. But still, I had to get it out.

Action:
The action of the trigger feels relatively the same when comparing it to the other leading brand. Same amount of travel and return. I love the action of both! The pro of OWP, it was cheaper.

I can't say the comparison to the S&W trigger in terms of actual firing because I'm a seasoned user when it comes to the M&P pistol line and when I get a new M&P pistol, a new trigger gets ordered the day before. I do not waste time shooting the pistol prior to replacing the trigger anymore I do it prior.. But in terms of dry firing, of course the OW trigger is impeccably more amazing and 300% improvement.

I took 1 star off because of the video and slug. I took the second for requiring a picture or video be posted with this.. I'm not a fan of broadcasting pictures of my firearms all over the internet and I took the third for data farming.
