The response to the request was reliable. Ms. Alicja P. fully explained my issue regarding email account settings. Request number CS15614774. I recommend the support and services at OVHcloud.
I contacted OVHcloud support regarding the cancellation of a VPS service under a long-term commitment. Although the standard policy usually does not allow early termination without full payment, the Claims Department carefully reviewed my situation and agreed to waive the remaining commitment as a gesture of goodwill. It was difficult for me to find and fully understand the details of this policy, mainly because of the language barrier, and that is partly my responsibility.
Special thanks to Joanna for the communication and prompt response in resolving the issue. Automatic renewal was disabled to prevent unwanted charges in the future, although the issued invoices were not cancelled as part of this decision. So I suppose it is fair to say: “business is business.”
I sincerely appreciate the customer-oriented approach and the willingness to find solutions in any situation. Decisions should remain transparent and understandable for everyone.

It was very kind conversation and very nice and person. She help me very fast and in a smart and easy way
I've been working with OVH for over 15 years. I have quite a few services with them, including over a dozen powerful bare metal servers. During this time, I've had the opportunity to use OVH support many times. And I've never been disappointed. Highly recommended.

A great option if you are looking for a budget solution. However, all the IPs I've tried are blocked by Hotmail/Outlook. The network setup is also a bit non-standard and requires some extra configuration.
The ECO servers in the Kimsufi range allow you to order additional IPv4 addresses, but you are stuck with only one (!) IPv6 address. This is a huge drawback in 2026 when other providers routinely offer a /64 or more.
Aside from the IPv6 issues on the new Kimsufi range, my So You Start (SYS) server has been running without problems for years.
Last time I gave it a 5, today I gave it a 1. I've been a customer (baremetal, public cloud) for 10 years. I recently ordered and paid for two dedicated machines on February 3rd. They were supposed to arrive within 3 days. After a week of silence, I contacted support with a brief message: "It will be here on the 16th," with no explanation for the delay or silence. Today, the 16th, the day is ending, and I still don't have any dedicated servers. Now, in the chat, some cheerful consultant wrote to me, "Order delayed, it will be here on the 27th." And instead of explaining, the guy disconnected the chat.
This is so completely absurd and unserious that words are amiss. I strongly advise against using it.
I feel like something is wrong with OVH and their customer service: I don't know what's going on with my order, there's no contact... This is NOT what a serious business looks like...

I am very disappointed with OVH. They sell VPS servers with outdated operating systems, which makes basic maintenance and security updates a challenge. The customer support is extremely poor, often unresponsive, and difficult to reach. The user interface is confusing and unintuitive, and processes such as making changes to the server take far too long. Overall, my experience has been frustrating, and I would not recommend OVH for reliable VPS hosting.

Bad customer service experience. I waited a long time for a response and got something that wasn't helpful at all! I'll probably have to wait a long time for a response again.

TL;DR: Web Cloud Hosting plans are meant for a single website, even if you can technically run more, it's likely bad idea. And support is painfully slow.
Looking at the webpage for web hosting, I can see 10 websites limit, 4 databases limit and upsell to get more databases. Okay, fair enough, thats the way they want to do it.
Proceeded to purchase the setup, both hosting and extra databases package (even during purchasing the web hosting plan, it automatically suggested to get databases).
So far, so good.
I started migrating websites, I have 7 of them that I wanted to install on OVH. No problem. SSH access makes things easier (you can actually edit `.ssh/authorized_keys` and it is respected, which credit where credit is due - is good). I used up all 4 databases from the hosting plan, and switched to the DB server add-on for next databases.
First snag was, that connections to the database time out. And yes, I've double and triple and even quadruple checked, its not PEBCAK kind of issue. The databases have in the allowed IPs section hosting permission checked, so it should work.
Next, the PHP configuration is practically non-existent. All web hostings provider I ever used before allow option that I can adjust some php.ini variables, for example disable functions, etc. OVH allows just to set PHP version. Globally. For all websites. This gave me some thoughts that maybe the websites aren't exactly separated. Lo and behold, they are not. Again, quite insecure practice, on scale from 0 to 10, in context of hosting few independent of WordPress sites, I would call it solid 8/10 issue, deal breaker if I knew in advance.
Okay. Let's try support. To cancel or at least get the databases t/o sorted out. Lets just say that... support was unhelpful. First, they want me to wait 30 minutes to get clearly zero human intervention reply based on category (So why 30 minutes, not 1 second? That wait to get autogenerated boilerplate shouldn't happen... Highly disrespectful of my time, I feel straight up insulted by it). Than it took them so long to respond, I exchanged few emails with competitors, found few hosting providers that provide what I expect, had enough time to confirm few details with few email round trips.
But during the support process it clicked for me. They mean the service to be for a single website only - it makes sense for such cases. Extra databases maybe for aux systems, for example standalone PHP backup solution (like akeeba standalone). Looking at that, the entire setup makes drastically more sense.
Additionally, a side note, while working to migrate the website I stumbled upon weird issue, that when I load the WordPress site, some images won't load, and I initially thought "just WP things". However later uppon closer inspection, it's quite interesting - it's specific to host, as the host literally refuses to serve the images in whole, while browser screams about `net::ERR_HTTP2_PROTOCOL_ERROR 200`. Probably something about single site refresh doing many concurrent requests (+- 120, 3.7Mi w/o cache). Some debugging later, and I believe that the server literally cuts off on TCP level connection in middle of serving some of the images, that I can open in new tab perfectly fine. So for once I have problem with WordPress that I can blame on host, not on WordPress.
So now, I have no refund, paid for year of hosting, that within first hours of attempting to use it I learned that it is not a product, that I was led to believe via their descriptions I get, and I will need to pay for another hosting in another company anyway. This entire OVH ordeal left me far beyond frustrated.
Update: some days later managed to get refund. Didnt know this is even possible with ovh. +1 star for that

Tragedia, nic nie działa. Cały panel klienta jest tak skonstruowany, żeby wyciągnąć pieniądze za najbardziej podstawowe rzeczy. Niczego nie da się normalnie skonfigurować. Ani DNS, ani konta email ani nic. Omijać szerokim łukiem.
The service is tragic. The whole admin panel is constructed to get you to buy new services. Nothing can be configured normally. No DNS, no email, no nothing. You get 100 email but only on one domain, info you get AFTER you purchased the server. Every other email has to be payed extra. This service provides sucks so bad I strongly advise not to buy anything from them. They have no normal support, no nothing.

We recently had to cancel a dedicated server contract at OVHcloud, and while the initial terms didn't allow early termination, we were lucky to be assisted by Michał G. from the Claims Department.
Michał handled our case with real professionalism and empathy. He listened, offered a fair solution, and even made an exception to cancel the commitment after we transitioned to a new OVH server. Thanks to his support, the whole process felt human - not just policy-driven.
Huge thanks to Michał for his help and flexibility. It's the kind of support that makes you want to stay with a provider. We have been using OVH as a technical partner for our company for over 4 years now, and we are going to continue working with OVH as they are true professionals and the best in the business.
