OV holidays had arranged our visit to Maldives from 16th April to 20th April 2023 .The resort Centara Ras was suggested by Ms Rosemarie of OV holidays and afull board package was arranged for me and my wife.Our suggestions were included and it was a great experiece with OV holidays and we cherish the sweet memories of the resort and the hospitality extended.Thanks Rosemarie..OV holidays..Centara Ras

This company is superb! I have been using their services three times and all three experiences were amazing. Angela our assistant from OV was unbelievable, she pampered us every single time and left no stone unturned in making our experience memorable and fun! She has been patient with our demands and consistent in meeting our price caps without compromising quality! She gave us VAKKARU JOALI and now PATINA and each one of them has a special edge, however Patina definitely takes the lead with an unparalleled kids club and hands down the best food in the maldives! A trip not planned by Angela from OV Holidays is not a real trip. Every year we look forward to Angela’s new recommendation.

We planned our trip to Maldives via the OV holidays. Their representative Sudarshini shared the best options within our budget. All airport transfers and transfers to and from the hotel and resort were very planned. We were travelling with our 2-year-old boy and they really helped with all transfers and it was very stress-free.

Kristy were always reachable by e-mail, and found great prices for us at the resorts we wanted to visit.
And when covid on an Island stopped us from going there, she was able to book another fantastic resort instead, Kuda Villingili, with a lovely villa and full board, on such short notice 🌷
We were positively surprised by the representativ on the airport as well, and all his help and service both at arrival and departure, and definately -since we visited 3 resorts- the speedboat transfers in male 🌼
We will definately recomend, and not hesitate, to use OV Holidays again.

It was an excellent service, can’t even say it better. Cherie was very cooperative and helped us with the bookings and reservations.. it was a very easy and smooth process and she was there to answer all our questions all the time and she found us an amazing deal. When we landed at Male, OV holidays representative took us to the lounge and checked in for us and helped us with our bags. Everything was very smooth. Will definitely go to OV holidays for my next holiday and the hotel recommendation was amazing and I don’t think it could’ve been any better

Easy booking process, great packages and competitive rates

THE STANDARD HURUVALHI - or better THE SORRY HOTEL HURUVALHI
In general the vacation was very nice, we had an almost good time. BUT, this resort is not at all 5 star, I would give them a maximum of 4 stars. One of the reasons we booked was the Beru bar, which is a sunset bar at the end of the lagoon with a wonderful view at the ocean and the sunset. The bar also works as a discotheque with glas bottomed dance floor, so you can see the ocean and the fish. But unfortunately the bar was closed. They said because of Covid but is was more like because of not enough staff. They did open the bar on new years eve for 2 hours and another time because customers very massively complaining about it. And it was really cool those 2 times, but all the other times it was closed. I understand that in covid you cannot operate a disco, but 2 hours every evening some cocktails and drinks this would have been such a difference. But instead every evening in the same main restaurant surrounded by little screaming kids. Almost only young couples with lots of kids. I don´t have a problem with it, but I want to mention it in case you want a quite holiday.
Another thing was that our spacious bathroom had a giant bathtub for a hot bath for rainy days but unfortunately no hot water. We had to shower with cold water. After endless complains after almost 2 weeks the installed a hot water boiler in the service room outside the villa. So now we had hot water, but why was is not there in the first place? Also the TV was not working because he was in demonstration mode. After 5 complaints and 4 days someone finally fixed the problem. Also the giant disco ball inside the bathroom is pretty fancing but without proper lighting useless. So if you come bring some light for the disco ball…
Food: Generally okay, but it was almost the same food every day. At the Maldives surrounded by endless ocean you can expect lots of fish. But not here, rice, curry, potatoes, papa dam (Indian chips), a pasta station at one day pizza station on the other day, fried chicken, pork belly, 4 salads, fruit, bread – that’s it. So after a couple of days you really want to eat a steak or fish. And that’s why they invented the steak house and fish restaurant where you off course paid extra as an all inclusive guest.
It felt a little bit like a rip off. I mean whats the problem to serve fish in the regular restaurant it should be almost for free. But the whole operation was optimized to squeeze the most out of the customers. So we were there 3 weeks and when we wanted a steak or fish you had to book in those special restaurants and pay extra despite our 5000 Dollar all inclusive package. And the Chardonay in the Steakhouse was 60 Dollars, the same whine who was included in your all inclusive package but in the regular restaurant. Also the minibar was included in AI. But not everything. Coke, Sprite, a local beer, white whine and red whine. But if you drink a Red Bull instead BAM 10 Dollar extra because it was not included. Same with the beer. The disgusting local LION beer was free, the Corona was 12 Dollars extra. Can someone tell me why? I mean beer is beer and I don´t think the wholesale prices of Lion and Corona is differing that much. It was the little things where we just had the feeling to constantly get ripped of. A cocktail with lots of alcohol was All Inclusive, a fruit smoothie was 15 Dollars? Why? Fresh fruits you had for free at the buffet – fresh fruit put in a blender for 10 seconds 15 Dollars – we don´t understand. Also there was almost no activities, like on the other islands we were. We used to play Beach volleyball with the locals. But nothing here. They had some movies every 3rd day but other then that nothing. It would have been also nice to print a activity flyer and put it in the room after cleaning so at least you know there is something going on. On Saturday there was a Maldivian dance group we only discovered it by accident, would have been nice to be notified beforehand. And I never heard so many sorrys in my life, so I decided to rename the hotel in THE SORRY HOTEL MALDIVES. The staff in the main restaurant where really outstanding, but that’s about it. The sport center was also not top notch. On the second day I asked for catamaran sailing lesson and was told that they got back to me when the wind conditions were better. I asked 3 more times but they never called me back. But on good windy days I saw the guy running the sport shack sailing the catamaran by himself. Don’t get me wrong this is all just little stuff, but it is adding up to this feeling, you constantly got ripped off. Definitely not a 5 star island, more like 4 star.

I submitted my details and overnight they assigned me a personal advisor, Cherie and she found us an amazing deal. The communication was spot on and she guided us until we boarded our flight. When we landed at Male, OV holidays representative took us to the lounge. Everything was very smooth. Will definitely go to OV holidays for my next holiday.

OV Holidays does have a very friendly staff, they were available at the airport after immigration and made sure we have safely reached to the hotel team. They were also available when we wanted to depart from Mali and made sure we completed our check in process and greeted us farewell before immigration apologies can remember your name but you were so helpful and patient with me and my family. I am so great full for the amazing customer service you have, this will not be our last deal with you for sure. A big thank you to all.

Many thanks OV for making my honeymoon special. Initially i had my own concerns to trust an agency which i dont personally but after speaking to Micka who was guiding me, i felt comfortable. She guided me each and everything and i havent really had to worry about anything . They had came to collect me at airport and also guided me what to do next. Thanks a lot Micka for everything

I've been in Maldives 7th times and everytime I changed tour operator searching for the best offers. I found OV Holidays online and Micka has been my contact. I must say I was very demanding with Micka knowing what Maldives has to offer, and looking for a good deal in a nice place. Micka has been very helpful and patient trying to meet my needs not so easy to satisfy. Well she did with different options and I must say OV Holidays has the best rates so I do recommend it to everyone looking for the perfect vacation in Maldives!

At first I was not sure and a bit suspicious of OV Holidays. But it turned out that I was so wrong. Natasha was incredibly helpful. She found us the best possible location that catered all of our needs and at an incredible price! I would never second guess them. We were than greeted at the airport and everything was so straightforward. We did not have to do anything. This was so important especially because we were travelling with 3 young kids. Highly recommended!

Maldivescape anniversary with helps from OV holiday made it easier and less headache. OV team really helps me in finding the best suit required for my wife and kids. We had the best time both in Hulumale and also in private island.
