The Oxford Duplication Center have helped me with multiple projects transcribing old and cherished Videos and Audio cassettes into modern formats (DVDs, CDs and media files). They have also helped with video editing and enhancement and I have found them to go the extra mile when it comes to the care and diligence taken to get the best results every time, often given media at near the end of its natural/usable life. In this modern age of digital media often the problem is getting from one digital media to another. They recently helped me copying CDs (slowly becoming a ‘legacy’ media!!!) into media files with downloadable web links I needed for forwarding to a mastering house for subsequent music publishing on all major platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music. I’m very appreciative of that as through their network of industry contacts they were able to put me in touch with a very reputable mastering house and the results were amazing! They will continue to be my first port of contact when transcribing between media.

I found the staff (Cheryl) particularly helpful and efficient. Knowing nothing of modern reproduction techniques, she took time effectively to say that they could do anything I wanted. Albums, chaotic collections, negatives (all formats) all gathered into any format required. This included automatically removing duplicates and poor quality originals. Frankly: a brilliant team.

Helpful, professional service which fulfilled its brief to create DVDs from 50-year-old 8mm cine film - combining separate sound track tapes with the film files, getting synchronization right, no easy task

Extremely friendly and efficient service. The many reels of 8mm family films that had been edited by my Dad in the early 60's are now easily watched on a lap top or TV. It was well worth the expense not to lose these films. They are windows into a lost world. The films were gradually getting more and more brittle and the old Eumig projector was struggling, was sad to lose the excitement we used to feel watching on that projector, something about the sound and smell of it all I miss. I was really grateful to find a trustworthy place to get these digitised, so pleased that I got my cousin to sneak my aunt and uncles cine films out of their house and had their films digitised as a surprise for my uncles 80th birthday - much to their delight. I can thoroughly recommend Oxford Duplication as a really safe, professional pair of hands and a delight to deal with.

This is the third time I have used ODC to digitise some very old SVHS family tapes. The quality of the transfer is excellent. I would urge anyone with old family tapes to get them digitised before they get to the stage where they are unplayable. Magnetic tape is prone to disintegration. If you're thinking you should be getting them updated to a more modern media, I would certainly recommend ODC. Prices are very competitive and the staff that I have dealt with are very professional and helpful.
