Stole 25,000 pounds from me

Stole 25,000 pounds from me - supposed to do all of my personal tax and manage the financial side of the limited company for me etc...

These people have caused my so much stress I considered all sorts of very dark things to escape from it.

Here is my story

1. January 2017 - Started with them
2. During 2017, I paid them a total of around 25,000 for their services (12% of my invoice value and they should sort out all tax etc..)
3. July 2017 - They had done 2 vat returns for me so all looking good
4. October 2017 - Getting very hard to get hold of people
5. November 2017 when tax return was getting close and vat return had been missed - could not get hold of anyone
6 December 2017 - over christmas I was so stressed as I needed by tax return doing - could not get hold of anyone (dont believe the phone system that makes it sound they are a big company - every department went to voice mail)
7. January 2018 - My wife did some digging and found that a relative of one of the 'main men' at oxford silk ran an accountancy firm in derby ( I wont mention their name as I dont want to give them any negative feedback). Seems that James Priestley was something to do with them and managed to get hold of him. He sorted tax return
8. February 2018 - I employed a new accountant
9. June 2018 - new accountant suggested legal action against people personally for professional misconduct and even fraud.

So, not a good review really ! If you are lucky enough to visit this site before deciding to go with them, ask them if they have ever taken money from a client and not provided a service if they say no they are lying.

Also, ask them to speak to any happy clients if you dont believe this review - they wont provide any - giving some excuse that 'People dont like to talk about their personal finances'
