Doesn't work

I don't often buy canned food but do need a can opener for the rare occasions I do. Bought a soft grip tin opener. Needed to open a can of tuna. Struggled to open even a centimeter. Tin got mangled and I had to use a fork to remove the tuna. Cost me a tenner and p&p. What a waste of money. Avoid.

Absolutely terrible customer service

I would like to award this company nil points, there after care is terrible, I asked the question about a garlic press which snapped while using it, about there lifetime guarantee, they replied back at first wanting more information which I sent back to them, now nothing sent numerous email asking for them to respond. Really bad customer services I will never buy another oxo item again I thought it was a reputable company, how wrong I was

Tubs of underweight oxos

BUYERS BEWARE: I bought a tub of 60 oxos from Iceland but found when I got home there were only actually 53 in the tub.
I consider this quite a substantial shortfall considering how expensive they are.
I've complained to Oxo and are awaiting their reply but judging from the comments on here I won't hold my breath.

Brilliant customer service

I bought a second hand Oxo salad spinner on Ebay. I scoured the internet for instructions on how to take the lid apart for a proper deep clean, but there were only instructions for newer models, so I contacted Oxo. Deyan tried to find out how to disassemble the lid but he didn't have any luck. So he suggested a method to try and said they would send me a replacement spinner if it didn't work. Well, the lid broke and they honoured their promise and I have just received a brand new one! Amazing customer service from Deyan and Oxo, thank you!

Great customer service

Have an OXO digital meat thermometer which just stopped working (no digital display). Reset button and battery replacement had no effect so presumed unit was dead. I phoned oxo customer service number to check there wasn't any fix and got through to charming (French?) agent who told me there was a lifetime guarantee and sent me a new replacment which has just arrived. Thanks for a very painless experience.

OXO sorted my problem straight away

I rang OXO re a problem with my salad spinner. Norman went out of his way to help me and arranged for a replacement straight away. I was really impressed and pleasantly shocked by the customer service. Well done!

If I could give 0 for customer service…

If I could give 0 for customer service that would be extremely generous. I contacted this company and they have purposely ignored my messages.
The ‘ Oxo Good Grips POP Container Mini Square Medium’ come with a wobbly lid which came apart so I do not recommend this product. Do not waste your money.

Rubbish uk customer service since they aren't available

I've been trying to get in touch with customer services to claim a replacement under the 'OXO Better Guarantee'. I initially emailed only to be told, after 3 emails that I was talking to the US and that a replacement could not be shipped from the US. Tried to get in touch via the website form but it kept disappearing saying the Captcha was wrong. I cannot find any other contact address for emails. I tried the Hot_en@.... address but it is not recognised. Absolute rubbish as is the dusting system we purchased.

Unreliable products and customer…

Unreliable products and customer service. Been using spatulas (among other OXO things) in the kitchen for many years. The white flexible plastic at the end of the spatula cracks after only a few weeks of use. Bought 2 Oxo spray mops in the space of approx 2 years. First one broke (squirting mechanism) after about 12 months. Did not think of contacting Customer Service at the time and just ordered a brand new one. This brand new one broke AGAIN after a few months of weekly use. (same issue: the squirting mechanism breaks at the handle/trigger level). This time I contacted Customer Service (sometime in July or August 2021). Had a very understanding and Customer-oriented young lady on the phone, who took all my details including my address, and told me she would organize for a new (free of charge) replacement product. We are now almost at the end of September, and I have received nothing and heard nothing back. Extremely disappointing and unreliable. I will stay away from their products from now on.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVE BE CAUTION

Terrible , they kept cancelling my order under excuse of a fraudulent activities , never place an order with them before , I used my own credit card , name is legit , billing address is the same as shipping address , order cancelled twice , when you call customer service they have no capability to restore order , or handle your complaint to a supervisor , they even rejected accepting a phone order , terrible experience , be cautioned please you will burn out !!!!

Contacted customer service after a salt…

Contacted customer service after a salt grinder I had purchase became faulty. I was promised a replacement salt grinder which I was happy with. This was in April 2020. Contacted them a number of times since and was assured that I would receive a replacement. It is now 30 August and I have still received no replacement. Not expecting to receive a replacement now. Very disappointing.

Do not buy from Oxo Very bad Customer Service

Do not buy from Oxo. They have a so called Oxo 5 year guarantee yet their customer support line number does not work. After I FINALLY managed to get in touch with them they called and said they would send me a new POP container product as the old one was faulty and six weeks on I have received nothing.(I did ry and contact them via their phone number / website just like the other reviewer below and NO answer).

Great products but ZERO customer care

I love OXO. You would be hard pressed to find a kitchen with more OXO products. I have been purchasing their stuff for many years and am always happy to pay a premium because I know the quality is going to be there.

Unfortunately one of my POP containers failed within months of purchasing it - admittedly this is the first OXO product which has ever let me down and again this is a testament to the quality of products they make.

But I have been completely heartbroken by the total lack of customer service. I contacted OXO UK (and USA) via email, twitter and the contact form on their website over a month ago and absolutely no one has bothered to get back to me.

A premium price deserves a premium customer care but unfortunately OXO have totally let themselves down on this front.

It's truly enough to make me think twice before purchasing their products again.

Questionable Guarantee Claims | Ignored emails - 17 days and counting

On their website, they claim they "we guarantee everything we make" (ref: Customer Service page on their OXO UK website), so I decided to enquire on the 22nd June 2019 since the product I purchased from them broke.

They asked for personal details on 26th June 2019 and I complied. But this was the last I have heard from them.

It is now midnight on 13th July 2019. Since my reply, I have chased up twice and they completely ignored my emails. The customer service is severely lacking.

If they cannot replace my defected product, I can understand if the reason is valid. But to leave a customer's enquiry unanswered for over two weeks is appalling service.

EDIT: Just an update 2 years later to confirm they have not replied.
As others have mentioned, their products are fantastic. But if something fails, do not rely on them to give a helping hand.
