I love the clamp! We took it to Los Angeles from Baltimore to share the experience with our son and his family. They were very hesitant at first, but are now believers. To be able to have oysters at h... See more

So far , it appears to be well made , which is why I chose it over imitations which are available from Amazon. Considering that I'm a newcomer to shucking, as I've only done it occasionally for a c... See more

I’ve been shucking oysters for a while

I’ve been shucking oysters for a while, but when I saw the ad for the oyster clamp I was intrigued. And I wasn’t disappointed — no need for the heavy glove I used to wear, and it was a lot easier to open the oysters.

A total piece of crap

A total piece of crap. Absolutely useless in shucking oysters.Great little grift they've got going. 30 bucks for two pieces of wood and two screws.

Very happy, patience needed with shipping though!

I bought the oyster clamp 2.0 and shucking knife on a Black Friday deal. Delivery took 2 weeks on the dot for it to arrive (I’m in the UK). I was getting a bit nervous based on other reviews however I received a different shipping link from customer service when I got in touch after a week, which showed that the item comes from China (so a little patience is needed). However, the items have arrived in great condition (aside from the case the knife arrived in, it’s plastic and cracked so not much use) - I was expecting the packaging to be a bit more robust considering how much these cost full price and the fact they are shipped from China all over the world. The knife has a good weight to it, also has an inscription. The oyster clamp itself is great, well made, could maybe do with a finishing oil on it but you could do that yourself as I’ve seen other people have. Either way, very happy with this and glad the items arrived safely and in one piece!

Chinese drop shipping product

I usually never write these. Bought this product more than 30 days ago and it has been one big battle. No confirmation mail received and money was drawn from my account straight away even without them having sent my order - as far as I know this isn't even legal ha ha - at least not in Denmark. Emailed the company 12 days after my order to here what the status were; they said they couldn't find my order and would refund me. okay?? promising.. so where's the big battle you might wonder??? Well, they never refunded me, emailed me back that they couldn't because the product was sent. Then emailed me a tracking code that did not work - that's when I noticed it was sent from china and was a dropshipping product. Today I mailed them asking for an update (30 days after the original order date) - well, I just got a response that they couldn't send my order anyways and would refund me my money?? How the freak is it possible to tell a client that firstly you can't refund them because the product has been sent, only to tell them 15 days later that the product hasn't been sent. I think this is the worst experience I have had with buying anything, like anything. Wouldn't recommend this for my worst enemy.
