SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!

Scam! Collect info and never call you back. I reached out and no one was available. Received a text message saying that my offer was ready. Once again no one was available when I called. Eventually someone called and I told them that I locked my credit and they stated they received a response yesterday saying that my credit was locked which is why he didn’t call back. He initially said he didn’t call back because he had to leave work early to take his doctor to the vet. My credit was not locked when I initially talked with The person referring to him self as Jack, however I did lock it when I realized it was a scam! After I hung up Jack sent an email saying no funding was available to try back in 30 day.

Don't fall for the mailing you received…. Bait and Switch

Don't fall for the mailing you received saying you're 'pre-approved.' You'll quickly find out you're not pre-approved for anything.

I fell for their mailing that said I was "pre-approved" for $89,000. You visit their site and enter your 'code', and it asks a few questions, then tells you you're about to get a call with "your offers."

Instead, I got a call from someone asking all kinds of new credit questions... questions you wouldn't be answering if you were already "pre-approved." Then they tell you they are going to call back the next day with "your offers." What happened to the offers you were supposed to just give me?

They call back the next day with a bait and switch story that I didn't qualify for a loan, but they want to help me with 'debt consolidation' and will payoff my credit cards (like a settlement), which would pretty much ruin my reputation with them, and how great this is for me and how much money I can save.

Guys, I didn't respond to a debt consolidation/settlement offer, I responded to a letter that clearly says "I'm pre-approved, call to get your rate."

Laughingly, I'd already done the 'check your rate" on reputable loan sites like Upstart and SoFi and BOTH had me qualified for 5 year personal loans of $75k in 30 seconds.

But this place couldn't do that?

Long story short, they aren't a lender or a bank at all, they're sending out bait and switch letters and hope you fall for some switcherroo at the end.

Don't fall for it. You can go directly to sites like Upstart and SoFi yourself, see if you qualify, and get a proper personal loan not from these scammers.

I've been trying to find information…

I've been trying to find information (real reviews?) on this company due to receiving a mailer. Trustpilot is the ONLY place I could find a negative review, which is odd considering they registered the web site in 2016 and most of the reviews (including the single negative one) appear to be from 2020 (five years old). You'd think by now they'd have more negative reviews considering the business they are in. I did want to say that the one negative was from someone who clearly doesn't understand how this works. They aren't a bank. They don't offer loans at a specific APR and then see who qualifies if their credit is spectacular for that rate. They loan to anyone and their rate (as stated on their sheet) ranges from 4.4% to 25%. Without your information (SSN specifically), they can't give you a rate at all. Plus of course the sales rep you talk to on the phone for one of these high-risk houses are independent and probably rotate quite often. They don't have supervisors: they may even work from home and 100% on commission. If anyone has a site that actually has real reviews (eg: 3.0? 4.0? at least a bit of "charged a fee I don't think I should have been charge", I'd love to see it. I find it highly unlikely they've been in business for five years with none of those and the BBB doesn't have a match at all. LOL. Thanks for reading the book. I go back to devil's advocate now and see if we're interested in this company some other way or perhaps find some REAL reviews somewhere. Besides that ONE on here.

[edit next day] I did find another one that was negative, but it was from someone complaining of (basically) bait and switch because the "offer" his account rep called with the next day wasn't a debt consolidation loan, but debt "counseling" instead. Essentially he was complaining because they would not loan him the money he wanted and passed his lead off to another company that offers a completely different service. Which is once again not a bad review for the company so much as an inevitable outcome for some borrowers. Some of us are simply "not worthy". Complaining about that is similar (IMHO) to not tipping the waitress because another guest had a medical emergency and your food was late. Not their fault.

Very nice service

Very nice service, I had loan offers in a few minutes of speaking with them. In fact, I had numerous offers up to $100,000 at pretty decent interest rates from a variety of loan sources.

Hassle free process and easy going group to work with. If you want to get a number of offers from top tier lenders then I highly recommend you visit their site or call them.

PS- I was funded in less than 72 hours on my loan. I really was surprised at how easy it all was. Lots of kudos to Pacific National.

Pacific national funding is by far the…

Pacific national funding is by far the worst business I have ever dealt with. I called them to consolidate close to $50,000 worth of debt. I asked a few simple questions regarding the length of the term, what it reports on the credit bureau, what type of loan it is, and interest rate. The person answered the phone said someone would be in touch with me soon from a New York caller ID number. That the person could answer all of those questions. I got a call a few minutes later from A place in Henrietta Missouri, I am from Missouri. I thought that was weird because no one responded or said anything on the line. 20 minutes later I get a call from a New York number by a rep named Jason. He wasn’t super nice and he was unable to answer any of my questions. He said that I would need to give my personal information (Social Security etc.) to see if I qualify. I explained to him I wouldn’t be doing any of that until I could find out the terms of what they offer but I was willing to give my info as soon as I can see some paperwork and what they offer. He said they would do a soft credit pull and it wouldn’t affect the credit at all. It’s just to see if we qualify. He said after the soft pull he can answer all of my questions. He said he would call the next day and asked a good time. I asked him to call me in the evening so I can discuss it with my husband present. That night I got an Email for my credit card saying that someone is looking at my credit and credit score may have been impacted.

The next day the man called me early in the morning and said that our credit was great and we were approved. I said OK that’s great what are the terms? He said that he has no idea and That he would need to send me an email With a link on it to log into. Once in the portal I would have to enter all of my personal information and then they would tell me the terms. I advised him he isn’t giving me the information he said he would and that we have several debt consolidator options and that I didn’t like how he was talking to me. Not to mention he called me In the morning when I told him very clearly that I couldn’t talk in the morning. He said he had an emergency in the evening so he called me first thing in the morning. He also said if I have other people to use go with them and best of luck I don’t need them. At That point I asked for his manager because he was extremely rude. He said he is the manager and I won’t be speaking with anyone else. I also told him that he said the soft pull wouldn’t even show on our credit yet I got an email saying someone is looking at our credit. He immediately started interrupting me Saying that I was a liar and not telling the truth. He said that I was an uncooperative customer trying to make his life difficult and hard. I asked again for his manager. I told him we are interested however I need some answers to simple questions And would like to know that I’m not giving $50,000 worth of business to someone who wants to be a jerk. He hung up on me. I called pacific national funding back on the main number and explained what happened and ask for a manager to call me they not only never called me but they blocked my number from calling them. I know this because I’ve called from two other phone numbers and it goes through just fine when I contact my cell phone provider they say that it sounds like I was blocked because the call keeps canceling before it goes through. I will be taking this information to the BBB and whatever platform Will listen.

I would stay far away from this company

Was getting wrecked on my monthly debt

Was getting wrecked on my monthly debt, and a friend recommended Pacific National. I was barely getting by but they were able to negotiate for a much better (and lower) monthly payment rate for me. Now, I am able to get back on my own two feet again by making a monthly payment I can afford.

After reviewing all the options they presented
- a loan to consolidate my debt, bleh, I want out of debt not more debt
- bankruptcy. I just spent way more than I could afford
- debt settlement - they freeze my borrowing and negotiate down my debt

I opted for debt settlement. While it's not a lot of fun whittling down bills and hitting the reset button on my debt it is refreshing that I'll be able to completely eliminate my debt.

According to the plan I'm on, if I continue as scheduled I'll be completely debt free in about three years.

I'm really happy with it all and highly suggest a plan like this for anyone looking to be debt free.

I’d give a 100-star rating for them if I could. I’ve been worried sick about finding a solution to my debt problem. My co-worker referred me to them and boy, I couldn’t be any happier. They’ve been nothing but helpful since day one and have helped me kick-start my journey towards better financial management and getting a good loan interest rate. I’m very much looking forward to being in a better financial position in the near future. Thank you Pacific National team for all your hard work.
