Almost 60 Euros for 1 kg !

I sent a parcel they claimed the weight was 1kg more than the 30 kg I declared and without providing any evidence of the weight they charged 60 Euros (on top of the 50 euros I already paid).
I think they are just trying to steal money whenever they can.
Stay far!

Paclink (Evri/eBay) Unreachable

Seems no way to contact Paclink. Tried contacting Evri and eBay, although it went via Paclink, on return from compassionate trip to Florida in Feb. Buyer sent photo of vintage dish smashed in 3 pieces, and said it was well wrapped. I had to send a refund.

I'm visually impaired, and it's stressed me out trying to do automated chat etc. Just kept reaching a dead end.

Utter Rubbish

This is what I've just received from Paclink

They haven't resolved anything. This shows the utter contempt they have towards customers!

joke of a company using via hermes the parcel was clearly stamped on and items damaged , claim quotes there was not enough packing which there was , i will never use again [ royal mail are the best company with no issues ever ]

Wish I read the reviews beforehand - terrible !!

Wish I read the reviews beforehand, decided to try this due to Royal Mail strikes, they make Royal Mail look like the Rolls Royce of postal services. Used a postable service including paying extra for compensation to the value of the package via their Evri option. Delivered to wrong address as shown on the proof of postage and also included a picture of the parcel and nothing else so could have been anywhere, you can't speak to anyone, after 5 emails Paclink still say they are waiting for Evri, Evri produce a different google map, I could do that from the internet - still awaiting any notice of compensation... won't use again

Extremely poor customer service

Extremely poor customer service. I posted an item via paclink labelling which got lost in the postal system, permanently showing as 'In transit'. I got in touch with Paclink who told me to wait a little longer, so I did, and was then told 'You only have 30 days to lodge a lost claim so you cannot now claim'. The item remains undelivered. UTTER RUBBISH.

Just to add our experience to the growing list here, shipped our package via ebay paclink, took additional insurance due to value.
After 7 days very clear the package had been lost, investigations started, and after a while it was confirmed package lost, we were refunded some of the postage, and told the dossier was complete and handed to the insurers, were advised payment in approx 30 days ( 60 days down the line already here ).
Nothing after another 30 days, so then told now up to 90 days.
Well we are now another 90 WORKING DAYS down the line, ( Given up counting the actual days +140 ), and nothing from paclink or their insurers, no reposnse to emails, no feedback and certainly no payment.
Considering what other actions can be taken as the terms clearly state once dossier handed to insurers a max of 90 days ( not working ) before settlement.
I mean come on, you admitted you lost it, surely I shouldn't have to wait over half a year to get my insurance payment for something i paid to get insured. ( Which i had to refund to the buyer after 5 days ).

This company needs a "no star" rating

Pretty much as every other customer has stated on trust pilot. Compensation for lost parcels takes weeks and rarely finds in your favour even with compelling evidence. They are however, not so slow to take money from your account when the courier disputes the parcel dimensions. Will never use again.Learn from my mistakes, do not use this company.

Awful courier booking company

Awful company , terrible customer service , don;t allow customers to put the full address into their online booking , and offer dates for parcel collection when there are no couriers working . avoid, avoid, avoid a really terrible example of a courier booking service and if the was a NO star rating I would give it to them!

Avoid

Sadly packlink use Myhermes as a courier. I had a £170 phone go ‘missing’ and got a pathetic £25 back for it. Having sent loads of info and proof to packlink I think it’s a joke you have to pay extra in order to get an items value back from a poor excuse for a parcel company.
No investigation into the driver at all who had picked up the parcel but just didn’t scan it (yeah right).
Really unhelpful and would avoid using packlink like the plague!!! Terrible customer service.

Taken money without authorisation

Taken money without authorisation, claimed I sent a oversize parcel, delivered it then asked for photos of parcel! (Clearly can’t as delivered) now just taken the charge from my bank.
Stay well clear and if need us the courier firms direct.

AFTER I CANCELLED A DELIVERY PACLINK WOULD NOT REFUND INSTEAD THEY CLAIMED I HAD SENT A PARCEL USING THEIR SERVICE BUT I HAD USED ANOTHER CARRIER, LONG RESPONSE TIMES, LIES AND OBFUSCATION.
HORRIBLE COMPANY.
ALREADY HAD 3 ISSUES WITH THEM.
WILL NEVER EVER USE AGAIN.

I have used Packlink several times with…

I have used Packlink several times with sendings from Spain to Norway. In the beginning it was great. The packages came from point A-B in resonable time at a low cost.

After about 6 weeks the problem started. I got an e-mail saying that the package I sent 6 weeks ago was a lot heavier than what I had written in the papers. I know this is not true because we measured and checked the weight of the packaged several times to be sure it was correct before we sent them. We always do because we know this is important. They said the packages weight was 214.75 KG, but the real weight was 78 KG! Canvases and unframed paper are not this heavy! I complained, but the very same day I found that they had withdrawn 137 Euro more directly from my account without any permission! They actually stole money from the account using the details from my card from my first order! I went to the bank, but they were not able to help me. After several e-mails I start to understand that this is a fraud and that I should report it to the police. I am chocked that a company can reuse the details from the order in this way. Packlink asked for photos of the packages that can prove that the measures I wrote were right, but after 6 weeks these packages are of course long gone. Of course Packlink knows this. It is the reason for waiting 6 weeks. I had a similar experience last year with the same kind of fraud from billigpakke.no, but back then I still had the packages in my house and could prove that they were wrong with photos. Billigpakke decided not to charge me since I was right, but this costed me hours and hours of extra work. So I asked Packlink to send me proves with photos of the packages that can prove the difference in weight, but I didn't receive an answer yet. Of course they cannot prove anything because this is just fake, a fraud.

I now see that we are many people with the same kind of experience so please be careful!

At the same time as this happened, they didn't succeed to deliver another package in time. I hade paid 227 Euro to get this package to Norway, but after a week they wanted to return it to us! These were paintings meant for an exhibition in Norway. I had to write a lot of e-mails to make them understand that I would not take the package back. In the end they sent it to Norway, but they arrived too late for the opening of the show. It took 25 days for this delivery.

So unfortunately the conclusion is : avoid this company.

UPDATE:
Today Packlink paid my money back:) This was good news and therefore I change my review from 1 star to 3. If you are going to use packlink or any simular companies, always make photos of the sendings with the measures and weight so you can prove that you were right in case of problems.

You will loose your money, PayPal will deduct your account without warning and eBay just sends you back to paclinc, paclinc sends you back to PayPal, PayPal sends you back to paclinc, THEY JUST RUN YOU ROUND IN CIRCLES, BEWARE!!!!

I packaged a helmet that was apparently 'audited' as being OVER 180cm!!! That's an awful lot of packaging!?? OR just a SCAM!
