To conclude what has been a dreadful…

To conclude what has been a dreadful customer service saga. After purchasing multiple light fittings from Lakeside Outlet Store. Spending over £600.00
Staff in store all very good and extremely helpful.
The same cannot be said of senior management of Pagazzi Lighting.
Due to one light having what the manager claims to be cosmetic damage we are unable to return the light as we have adjusted the connection fittings. They would be unable to sell on. Why.........would you attempt to sell a damaged light to another unsuspecting customer.
The company as a sign if goodwill offered a 20% discount. This equates to £31.00. To access this very disappointing offer of goodwill means we have to drive over 200 miles to return to the Outlet store.
Needless to say my opinion of this company does not get any better. For any customer using this company please check your light fittings before purchase and leaving the store, this means unpacking and fully inspecting the fittings prior to purchase. Something most of us possibly would not consider doing.
Unless you live near the store you arw visiting. Unfortunately for us not an option available.
I trusted purchasing from a lighting retailer I thought were offering good quality fittings.
Needless to say I am now left with a light fitting which is not worth what was paid.

We would like to take this opportunity to clarify a few key points, as there appear to be some misunderstandings.

Firstly, we want to assure you that we do not sell products that have already been altered, damaged, or had electrical wires cut.

In your case, the light fitting in question was returned with the electrical wiring already cut. Unfortunately, once this kind of modification has been made, the item is no longer in a resaleable condition, which is why we check our returns in store. As such, it falls outside the scope of our standard returns policy. This is not a decision we take lightly, but one we must apply consistently to ensure the safety and fairness of our service for all customers.

We also do not expect customers to open and inspect items in-store prior to purchasing — nor is this standard practice. We strive to maintain the quality and accuracy of all products on display and in packaging, and our in-store teams are always happy to assist with any queries at the point of sale.

As a gesture of goodwill — despite the item having been modified — we did offer a 20% discount, even though the terms of our returns policy did not require us to do so.

We do appreciate your initial purchases and are genuinely disappointed that your experience did not meet expectations.

Excellent choice and service

Bought two bedside touch lamps from the Doncaster Lakeside store. When we got them home one had an uneven base so wouldn’t stand straight. Took it back following day and item was replaced immediately. No fuss no problems. Warranty on light bulbs purchased too. Excellent service.

Horrible experience

Dreadful. Placed an order online and items were never received. Parcel was never found and we further reported safety concerns during the courier investigation. Customer service refused to provide refund even though all stated policies offer this and evidence that courier statements were false.

Pagazzi customer service and management refused responsibility. This was our first and will be our last experience with Pagazzi, friends had warned us about past experiences with their quality of goods and customer service which we should have heeded. Their offers of credit or replacement were of no use, and we are now out the money paid and the items. We will be ordering home goods from other more reputable small businesses and brands in the future.

Do not recommend.

We purchased around £1000 worth of expensive light fittings from their store in Sterling Mills Tillicoultry , we thought the quality would be excellent only to find when we got them home everything was flat pack and some of the many parts were poor quality. To be honest we could have bought better quality at B&Q,

A lot of lighting product does require assembly, and that is standard throughout the industry, regardless of where you shop. I do understand your frustration on this however, and apologies if this was not clear at point of purchase.

I hope that despite your concerns, you do enjoy your new products and that they look beautiful in your home for years to come.

Great product - Fast delivery

Great product, bought in shop but damaged so returned. Only option was to order online which I did. Could not believe how quickly the product arrived. When it did arrive it was very well packaged and secure. The communication from both Pagazzi and the courier was excellent. Very happy customer!

A Welcome Addition to Bicester!

Great show room, lots of choice, helpful staff and an easy transaction once items chosen. I brought back one standard lamp as it didn't look right & was way too bright for the room - no questions asked when i returned it , as long as it was in its original packaging, they were happy to exchange/refund. Really helpful staff.

Bought mirrored letters for my…

Bought mirrored letters for my daughter’s bedroom. Many of the letters were missing protective film so had to choose the best as some were a bit scratched and tatty. Had to wait a short time to be served as only one staff on tills while half a dozen customers were waiting to be served. The staff member was friendly to deal with though

Excellent showroom choice

Excellent showroom choice. Really helpful, welcoming and friendly knowledgeable staff. Had an issue with one part of a chandelier, called Uddingston and was able to secure replacement crystal the same day. We also then made another purchase when picking spare up. Love it.

Terrible customer service and products…

Terrible customer service and products that need to be replaced what a bulb fails. The majority of their products hVe LED bulbs that can not be replaced and only have a 3 year warranty. Why spend hundreds of pounds on a product that may fail after only 3 years.

We do have plenty of replaceable options to choose from also! Our 3 year guarantee is above standard for the industry.

Bought a Brianna LED Light for £119

Bought a Brianna LED Light for £119. The mirror disk part had not been drilled so it cannot be fitted.

A 1 hr round trip to go and get that part swapped.

Pity there wasn't better QA/QC where the light was made.

Additional time and expenses - not happy!
