I loved this course. It was very creative and gave a very detailed and hands on approach to creating various Venetian plastering finishes. I was quite surprised by how many finishes we were able to achieve and how amazing they looked. It was a "Did I really do that?" kind of feeling. It was truly one of the most enjoyable 3 days I've had for a while.

The pricing and estimating course I’ve just completed with Paint Tech Training academy exceeded my expectations at every level. It was incredibly informative, with more than a few ‘eye opener’ moments. I feel that’s it’s going to prove an invaluable asset & investment for my business ongoingly & not only that - it was an actually interesting & fun process, which is really saying something for a person who doesn’t take to dealing with a lot of ‘cold numbers’ like fish to water.

PaintTech offer great training. I booked the 2 day kitchen spraying course. 2 days was needed, lots of information on equipment,safety, pricing and hands on spraying. Very relax and friendly approach of teaching which helps alot when trying something new.

I have just completed the 2 day kitchen and furniture spraying course with Ian and I loved it . I feel like I have really learnt a trick or two with the spraying techniques and knowledge with the way the paints behaves .
I will def be going back to do the more involved course again.

I recently finished RetroCoat worktop refurbishment course and I had a blast lots of great info lots of testing and great products to work with love the finish and design variety.

I recently completed the UPVC spray course and found it very informative. I had done a lot of research previously and this course gave me the hands-on experience and confidence take my business to the next level.

Loved this course. After doing the Airless Intensive I knew it would be good, but the specific kitchen and furniture knowledge I learned on this one was next level stuff. Everything they do is steeped in very detailed knowledge of systems that work in real world scenarios and is approached with integrity about how to do this work to a high standard and communicate with customers. Ian the tutor has a passion for setting the standard very high and you definitely take this mindset away with you. I'm just beginning my kitchen spraying journey but after this course I feel armed with the toolkit to begin down a road that will undoubtedly have ups and downs, deep learnings and take time to master. The after support is a big plus too.

Paradigm shift for future productivity and quality.

This was a great course. I’ve been spraying a lot using HVLP but wanted to gain knowledge about airless before I started taking on jobs of this type. This course has given me all that I need to get started safely and efficiently airless spraying! Highly recommend

I attended the Venetian plaster course at PaintTech Academy in Preston and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The tutor Pete really know their craft not just technically, but also how to break it down so you can understand the process and build confidence as you go.

The course was very hands-on, which I think is the only way to properly learn Venetian. They guide you through each stage, explain the materials, tools, and techniques in detail, and you get plenty of practice time. What stood out to me was how approachable the instructors were – no question felt too small, and they were always willing to jump in and show you again until it clicked.

By the end, I felt I had a solid foundation in Venetian plastering and the confidence to take what I learned onto real jobs. The training environment was well set up, friendly, and professional.

I’d highly recommend this course to anyone looking to expand their plastering skills into decorative finishes. Great value, brilliant teaching, and a skillset that opens up new opportunities.

Paintec are absolutely brilliant and I would say Pete Wilkinson is absolutely amazing his knowledge in the trade is amazing also all staff throughout the process have been fantastic. Painters and Decorators please do not hesitate to learn from this group.

As a total newcomer to the industry, looking at a change in career, the prospect of completing this course was pretty daunting! I needn't have worried as I was made to feel as welcome as anyone else. The techniques and knowledge that Ian imparted on me have been amazing.
To look at my work at the end of the course made me feel proud of what I had achieved, especially as I had never picked up a sprayer before! Thank you to Ian and all the team.

Fantastic two days down at Edenbridge at the the Paintech Academy under the tutelage of Ian. He was very knowledgeable not just on spraying but business in general and I’ve learnt a lot on my two visits here. Can’t thank him and his lovely wife Lyndsey enough for the time taken to help me achieve a good knowledge and ability to take the next step and start taking on jobs of my own.

If anyone is thinking about doing a course please don’t hesitate as you won’t regret it as it’ll open up a new avenue for you to go down which can only be of benefit moving forward
