Firstly, I'd like to say the customer service from this company was 5*. The reason for 4* is purely because the hat didn't me well. I can't really give 5, if it didn't fit

The ordering process for the hat and custom nature of the ribbon is the best I've seen.

It was sent in a lovely strong hat box. I had to press to make the bow not press into my head too much, but they explained to me how to do that.

Sadly the hat was a little grippy, so I sent it back and then kindly sent me a replacement in a better size. But that one, while adjusting velcro, the crown depth was just a shade under what I needed, and so it felt too unstable.

They were prompt to respond to messages.
Phoned me a few times to go through things.
So unlike some hat sellers who can be faceless or without help, these WILL help you a lot.

As I say, I can't give 5 if the end result is no hat.
But this is no flaw of their service, or the quality of the hat itself. If I could do 4.5, I would.

There was no issue with any returns or refunds either. Hence, a solid 4 Stars. Hats can be funny things to fit correctly. Thankfully they had a good policy for returns.

Fantastic customer service, via email and phone. In particular, Sara helped me with a bespoke hat order.

I bought a panama from them 5 year's ago and last summer I trashed it on a boat when it got sea water on it and got crumpled and totally out of shape. I just returned it to them for their reshaping service and it has been returned, within the week, immaculate. It looks like new. They also re-fixed the ribbon at no extra charge. I am delighted and recommend them highly.

Excellent hat design in attractive designs. Hats sent very quickly and well packed. I’ve had two now. The slight issue that I had was dealt with very professionally and by very friendly people. I really recommend these hatters.

I absolutely love my Pachacuti hat - it's beautifully crafted and always looks great. On top of that, amazing customer service when I requested a repair and restore - nothing too much trouble and great communication. My much loved hat is now looking dapper ready for the season (when it arrives!)
And on top of all of that, it's just a fantastic company with very very high and admirable ethical standards towards people and planet (which is why I bought my hat in the first place) .

Went to the shop today, and tried on at least a dozen Panamas of different styles. I've got a surprisingly large head but there were plenty of options and I found something I loved. Sarah was very helpful and knowledgeable, and the hat is gorgeous.

Emailed to get hat restored, didn't bother to reply, sent second email complaint about poor customer service and won't hold breath for reply

Awful! Visited the shop today and as I entered to look the assistant grunted something from the back of the shop. I turned and said hello. Nothing happened. I don’t know what the profit is on a £150ish panama but Pachacuti didn’t get it as I just walked out.

Appalling service.

I have just received my first hat from Pachacuti (panamas.co.uk). I was a bit nervous about getting my head measurement right, but the fit has turned out great, and I am really pleased with the quality of the hat.

It also arrived within 24 hours of placing the order, in a sensible size cardboard box without loads of unnecessary packaging.

Premium service and the product - Pachacuti saved the day and my partner's birthday after I was let down by the competing company.
