A zero result

In spite of having read Victoria Strauss;s comments, I decided to gamble on a 3-month promotion for a couple of books I had self-published.The staff were pleasant, cooperative and helpful with setting up the copy and layout. I provided the text; other than the length, they offered little advice. The ads looked good and three promotional months went by. My gamble went the way of most gambles: not only did I not sell the 750 copies I needed to break even on the cost of the promotion, but I sold no copies at all. Zero. The only response from Paperclips was an offer of a deal on republishing the books. Sure.

Rod Taylors and his team along with John Davis have been great in walking me through the process of marketing my latest book. They did a good job in the layout of marketing my book "A Change Is Coming." They calm my fears because it is hard to trust people who doesn't have integrity or good customer service.

Great service and great people

Having been associated with Paperclips Magazine for a couple of months now, I have found them to be extremely helpful and attentive. They have been totally honest and the most wonderful company my husband and I have dealt with in publishing for 10 years now. I appreciate everything they have helped us with and would highly recommend them to anyone.

In a field where we extend ourselves

In a field where we extend ourselves, where we expose our inner fears and desires, and we are forced to trust strangers with that part of our souls, we hope that they don't let us down, steal our work or just not deliver what was promised.
Working with Paperclips and Nate Parker was one of those times it paid off; they did all that they promised and more; they exceeded my best hopes and expectations and delivered for me.
I would highly recommend this experience to anyone that has ever dreamed about doing something like this; if that door opens for you, jump through it with both feet, you won't regret it.

Clearly the marketing team I had gave attention to detail and ample time to their customers. I never felt rushed, always encountered immediate responses and polite representatives who focused on the task and did an outstanding job. Bradley and his team are the best.

If you want an immediate opinion

If you want an immediate opinion, I've found the process slower than expected and the fact the magazine cannot be accessed via a smart phone seemed conveniently left out of the sales discussion.

That being said, your staff, especially Bradley Perkins, were very quick in their response to my questions and in making adjustments/corrections. The presentation of the ad/article appeared professional.

I will be glad to give another review after we see if the online "book tour" results match up with expectations.

I RECOMMEND PAPERCLIPS MAZAZINE AND LEGAIA BOOKS

Paperclips Magazine staff were very professional, talented and supportive to this author in the February 2017 issue of my Full Page AD and four page Article.
I contracted with Paperclip Magazine/Legaia Books in the 2nd Edition of my book BLENDING FAMILIES 2nd Edition. Michael Luke and Bruce Miller were very helpful and encouraging to me. Bruce Miller, Project Coordinator, and staff were creative and responsive to all my requests. I rate them 4.5 on 5 scale. Michael Luke, Marketing Director, has given me effective marketing strategies and publicity in the publishing of 2nd Edition, April 2017 and in the current marketing of my book in Paperclips Magazine, July 2017, Issue 38. I am appreciative of his professional work and support. Marketing rating 4.5 on 5 point scale. Max Price
