Cheap, boring and not worth the money

First papergang box was ok and had a nice planner in it. Plus there was an offer to get first box discounted. However 2nd box which I paid full price for was a total rip off. Bog standard colouring pencils, a cheap boring notebook, 4 pages of the same silly stickers and some post its. I've cancelled the subscription as certainly not worth £12 quid plus postage. Was like a cheap kids party bag.

Papergang- very disappointed and this…

Papergang- very disappointed and this was a trial so only had to pay the postage. I feel ripped off paying £2.99 so would have been gutted if I had paid the full price.

We only got a pencil, 2 felt tips and a cheap sharpener, a pad and couple of cards. What about other things highlighters, coloured paper, glue and a nice attractive theme. My 8 year old daughter was so looking forward but now deflated. Shame as previous packs looked much nicer.

Use 14 day distance selling rule for refund

Ordered the first box on the 20th November didn't receive until the 7th (strikes etc). They took the monthly subscription on the 1st December when I emailed on the 7th to cancel after seeing the tat they said it was too late to cancel the second box due to be posted on the 16th!

Update.

They refunded the postage and subscription after their agent insisted everything was done correctly. Not once did they mention I was covered by the 14 days distance selling rule.

AVOID If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. AVOID this rip off company.
You could get the contents of the box from Poundland. Do not fall for the scam of the free box- they took the full subscription from my account the next day and refused to refund me. AVOID

Avoid avoid avoid

Avoid avoid avoid. I was sent broken pens, washi tape with no glue and one box just didn't arrive and they were more concerned with confirming the order number, proof of payment and how long I'd been subscribed than finding a solution.

Great company and great products

I use both the papergang monthly stationary subscription, and buy from the ohh dear website. Everything is well packaged and always arrive on time. Excellent customer service and great products. I love receiving my deliveries from them, absolutely amazing company.

Customer Service responds until you cancel your subscription

I like the items in the boxes but since I have too many I decided to cancel it. The last box I paid for is for August which will be sent out by September. Since I will be going on vacation, I requested to have it sent from October instead. I (incorrectly) assumed that their system would automatically handle this. In the last week of October I sent an email asking if it has been sent out already. I have not received any reply and I sent that message 6 days ago. I guess once they see in their system that you’re no longer a customer, they don’t bother replying in a timely manner. They still owe me a box, and I sent them another email yesterday to get updates.

My observation: The customer support was fine if you’re an active customer. When you cancel, say goodbye to good service. :/

Received my first box today .

Received my first box today .
Hugely disappointed ..and I haven't
even opened it yet !!
Why ??
Because it was for a bday gift ..
But it won't / can't be given now
as for some very strange reason ?
it was sent with no packaging
so the box is damaged and grubby
But also because it has a large Royal Mail sticker on the back that also seals it closed .
Absolutely not decent to give as a gift ..
The boxes were part of the reason I subscribed to Papergang ..and with matching contents they were a really nice and different idea ..
If I was keeping them for myself I would want the box too !
Surely the main selling point!!
The postage label does not peel off .
I tried a tiny bit on the corner and it is just a sticky mess underneath ..also Im sure the label would not peel off without tearing ..making an even bigger mess !

Overall .. for a first box.. I am not at all happy with it 🙁
Not a good start !
Presentation is paramount !!

Dreadful

Dreadful - paid on 7 May 2021. Was sent a Royal Mail tracking number which didn’t work and which PG said only activates once deliver is attempted. Emailed them again: “Apologies to hear that your parcel has not arrived as expected. Would you be able to confirm your shipping address for us so that we can cross check our files and open an investigation with the courier?” Surely they can find my order by my address ? Address given .... now saying the suspect a load of orders have been mislaid by the courier and they’ll investigate. No mention of a replacement box, no ask if I’d a like a refund. Just another email from ‘Heather’ saying we’ll aim to reply in 24-48 hrs. First time customer experience is very very shoddy.

Such a shame Papergang.

Such a shame Papergang.. It started with okay boxes, .. Now you are shipping boxes which are poorly designed.. They nearly always arrive late and your customer service is terrible... You are consistently receiving bad reviews at the moment and you are sending bulk standard responses, please listen to customers as at first you really had got it right . One of many who have cancelled subscriptions !

Booo to Papergang

Ive been subscribed to papergang for about 6 months now. The last two boxes haven’t shown up, every time Ive contacted the team to chase this up its literally been weeks in between replies. In my eyes the boxes are not worth the money but if like me you’ve needed the pick me up in lockdown then they are presented well and will no doubt give you 2 minutes of joy when opening. Back to my original point though the boxes take way over the month to arrive if at all and when money is tight it really isn’t worth the gamble of it its going to arrive or not. Im still waiting for my February box or a refund but the company won’t even reply. £14 not well spent.

So not worth the money ...

The introductory half price box was lovely - nice size notepads, pens etc but the full price £14 box this month is absolutely disgusting - you could probably get the stuff from Poundland for £4 max!!! Have cancelled subscription.
