We might be a small business down here in Cornwall but I like to think that we "punch above our weight" and can get a top product delivered to most places in the UK the next day. It's interesting that you comment about the smell of the newspaper. People often ask me how to authenticate a newspaper and I always say that the first test is to smell it! If it smells old then it is likely to be an original and not a modern reprinted edition.
Gifted business with an amazing birthday gift
I am extremely grateful to Ian for his prompt efforts in getting our gift. I have never come across a business that is open 9am to 9pm 7 days a week but Ian went beyond as he replied after 9pm on a bank holiday weekend.
My lasting memory of my father-in-law is him reading his newspaper so this wa an ideal gift for his 80th birthday. The newspaper was high quality and fascinating to read. I cannot recommend this ore highly.

This 1937 newspaper was a "Royal Edition" of The Times, from a very limited print run back then and originally for distribution to the Royal Households so a real piece of history. I can see that it has been much enjoyed by your father-in-law.

It is true that we have got good stocks of The Times (over 150 tons) but I prefer to sell them rather than hoard them hence the lower, much more competitive price. Customers get a good deal and I make a living working with fascinating old papers - everyone happy!

Believe it or not I had a 1957 Newspaper Volume in the car, as you do, and I was able to retrieve a really great edition, gift pack it and post it off to New Zealand straight away so a good job all round. Ian.
