Skip Paradis Latin Cabaret in Paris

On a recent trip to Paris, we had booked tickets and were looking forward to the evening show. We arrived early and were seated at a very awkward rectangular table for five, even though we were three. I say it was awkward because I was facing away from the stage and had to turn my seat around from my wife and son. It was difficult to see because there were a pole and a woman with big hair in front of me blocking my view.

I approached the manager and asked to be moved to a round table for three, which was immediately beside us, but slightly elevated and with a better view.

The manager said he would see what he could do, even though the table remained empty for another 20 minutes. After the show had started, he seated other people there who arrived late.

It was clear then that he never had any intention of re-seating us, and that he was only interested in filling as many seats and possible and making as much money as possible - clearly customer experience wasn't important for him at all.

It took almost an hour to get over-priced drinks.

I can't really comment on the quality of the show because I didn't see all of it...from my perspective - it was ok, I know I've seen better.

When in Paris, I would choose a more reputable and well managed cabaret to visit - one where they actually care about their customers.
