Paradise Grills

Paradise Grills, buyer beware! they say they deliver but what they actually do is drop off the grill in the dark of night!.
I was told all we had to do was have plumber do the hook ups...NOT TRUE....all they do is drop it off for 500bucks!! rip off..
Even the drop off guys said they get this complaint all the time, said they are very unprofessional company
I filed a complaint with BBB, I hope others do so as well to drop their rating. they are the worse company I have ever encountered.

Bait and Switch

Over the years, I’ve visited several Paradise Grills locations and have always admired their products. Most recently, I stopped by the International Mall location in Tampa and finally decided to purchase the Aruba line, including the upgraded grill with LED-lit handles. The sales associate, Brian, told me I was getting a $4,500 value, making the closeout deal seem too good to pass up.

However, when the grill was delivered on Friday, the experience quickly soured. The rotisserie burner didn’t work, the umbrella arrived broken, and to make matters worse, the grill they delivered was the base model—not the upgraded version I was promised. When I contacted Brian to address the issue, he claimed there must have been a "misunderstanding." I then reached out to corporate, hoping for a resolution, only to find they were standing behind the misleading claims of their sales associate.

In the end, I spent $8,000 and received a $1,900 grill and a broken umbrella. As someone who’s been in sales my entire career, I have zero tolerance for dishonesty—especially when it’s supported at a corporate level. This has been a deeply disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t recommend Paradise Grills to anyone.

My experience with Paradise Grills has been the worst ever, I have never encountered such bad customer service

My experience with Paradise Grills has been the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I purchase an outdoor kitchen in July of 2024, the actual delivery date was on Octboer 4, 2024 and from the moment it was being delivered I noticed that there were many things wrong with it, the countertop was in two parts which would have been fine, but that problem was that countertop were completely different in color and style and they did not align together and therefore the interior lining of the dual burner has a space between the dual burner and countertops and for that reason the liner was cut into various pieces in order for it to fit which it should be in one piece, and the trim on the outdoor refrigerator is missing, Paradise grills has refused to help with the obvious issues and they are claiming that since the damage is at the back I should be happy with this, just so you know my outdoor kitchen is not against a wall and what they claim is the back is actually the front, I have never encountered such bad customer service and I will never be a customer again, the price that I am paying for outdoor is extremely expensive and the company just has not cared at all, they have made at least 5 or more service calls and no resolution and they have also lied about my intentions of not being available but I have made myself available sometimes leaving work early and having to wait at time up to almost midnight for them to show up, It now has been 5 months and they continue to refuse to make the changes to all the damages that were stated on the delivery date.

My Experience with Paradise Grills: Great Product, Poor Customer Service

Let me start by saying—I love my grill. It’s well-made and performs exceptionally. However, my frustration lies with Paradise Grills' company policies and poor customer service, which fail to support customers after the purchase.

Main Concerns:
Unclear Stock Availability & Cancellation Policy
When ordering from paradisegrillsdirect.com, there is no way to know whether an item is in stock. If it’s out of stock, Paradise Grills refuses to cancel the order, forcing you to wait 6-8 weeks for it to arrive. Most reputable companies prioritize customer service and offer refunds for out-of-stock items—Paradise Grills does not.

Safety Recall Only for Original Owners
Paradise Grills issued a safety recall for grills manufactured between 2009-2020 due to a gas buildup issue that could cause an explosion. However, this recall only applies to the original owner, not anyone who purchased a used grill. This is unacceptable—safety should apply to every owner, regardless of who originally bought the product.

Misleading Shipping Documentation
Paradise Grills' shipping department is unreliable. They list items as “shipped” on paperwork when, in reality, they were never sent. This can cause major issues when trying to track missing parts.

Excessive FedEx Ground Shipping Fees
Paradise Grills overcharges for shipping. For example, shipping a 10-pound package from Lakeland to Sarasota costs $106—far beyond standard FedEx Ground rates. They are clearly not passing on any shipping savings to the customer.

Final Thoughts
While I absolutely love my grill, anyone considering a purchase from Paradise Grills should be prepared for poor customer service, misleading shipping practices, and expensive shipping fees. If you need replacement parts, expect high costs and long wait times.

Would I buy another grill from them? Only if their customer service drastically improves.

Not the quality we were expecting... customer service after the sale is POOR!

We bought an outdoor grill with island and barstools in Tampa, FL. The delivered it in the dark so we did not see any issues at the time of delivery. Over the next couple of days, we found metal rivets on the ground, the umbrella lifted out of its sleeve and went flying while we were sitting at the bar, and the fridge would move/come out whenever we opened its door. We called their corporate customer service with our concerns and sent photos to the representative I spoke with. She never responded. I had to follow-up multiple times before getting a response. Then someone else from customer service called advising that the rivets we found had fallen out of the fridge door and I was told to put them back myself. They will send new ones in case these are bent. As for the fridge and umbrella not being secured, I was told their products are "plug and play" and NOTHING IS SECURED to the unit. I would think that at the cost of their products that they would be better made. We are greatly disappointed in the quality of the product. Unfortunately, there isn't anything we can do at this point. We are stuck with what we bought. We can only hope that this review helps other so no one else has the same poor experience that we have had!

Beware of purchasing a Paradise grill

Beware of purchasing a Paradise grill. During installation they cut the opening in the countertop to large, and had to jerry rig a fix. The $6,000 grill is not even close the performance of my old Weber grill. I bought the grill in December of 2024, and this month I got a charge for $190 for a maintenance contract which I did not agree too. Customer services refuses to reimburse.

I purchased a $14,000 BBQ with a Bar

I purchased a $14,000 BBQ with a Bar. After one month, the foot rail started rusting. I called customer service, and they told me they could send me a list of names of rust removers—inferior quality and service. Do not believe their warranty claims they are just deceitful sales tactics. Buyer beware!

Unhappy and dissatisfied with my Paradise kitchen.

I purchased and had the kitchen installed November 2021 at a cost of over $8,400.00. I have had numerous issues with the grill and stucco finish. I have had 3 temperature gauges and still it does not work properly. I put an oven thermometer in the grill to prove it is not working correctly. The grill takes a ridiculous amount of time to heat up, compare to a 16 year old Weber I have at another house. The stucco finish cracked in several areas. They sent someone out to fix the cracks and all they did was paint over them. They then sent someone else to fix the cracks and they did an alright job. However, within a few months the cracks appeared again. And, just recently I see more cracks staring to form. The Italian stone top separated and delaminated (supposed to be stone) all over. They came out and did replace it. By the way it is located at a second home, so used seldom and when not used for a long period of time I cover the entire kitchen with a grill cover so it is not exposed to the elements. I am totally dissatisfied with the product and am sorry I purchased it. I will try to sell it for a cheap price and reduce my loss. I can see the stucco is going to continue to crack, then I will have to take it to the dump. My experience is that my Paradise kitchen is not a quality product.

Customer Service was amazing…

My wife and I went by Paradise Grills in Hoover and were amazed at the outdoor kitchens available. We were greeted at the door by a sales rep. Susan. We told her what we were just looking and she showed us the different kitchens available. Even though she knew we were not ready to purchase, that didn't seem to bother her and she kept answering our questions and showing us their products.

We were very impressed with their products as well as the quality personnel that works there. When we are ready to purchase our outdoor kitchen, they most definitely will be #1 on our list.

I would suggest everyone who is in the market for an outdoor kitchen contact Susan at Paradise Grills.

I bought my Tahiti a little over a year…

I bought my Tahiti a little over a year ago and let me tell you! First, I want to say the store people are great, but their hands are tied when it comes to any problems you may encounter. Corporate is the issue here. They will do anything to get out of warranty issues and claims. I know for a fact that the positive reviews you see are mostly employee generated and required by the company weekly. I have had several quality issues since spending 40k at one of their Georgia locations. Had the reviews been actual at the time I would have bought elsewhere. When delivered the crew assembled the kitchen very poorly and I have to purchase screws and bolts after the fact to address the issue. Why did I sign off on delivery you might ask, they did not finish until 11PM and it was way too dark in my backyard to see anything. The store did come out and fix the lights they were not working at all. Now a little over a year old. The grill inside lights flickers and most of the time don't work at all, The Tahiti totem poles will require sealing 2 times a year as they fade terribly. The grill grate welds have come apart on the grill, The wine cooler has failed completely, One of the leveling feet on the bottom collapsed under the counter's weight, One of the LED strips failed again, The outside cabinet is just raw stucco and really requires a coat of paint to be resilient outside. Paradise should either stand behind their product for a few years for the amount of money or offer some type of service plan. Also don't let them fool you on the appliances, They are white label Chinese built junk and good luck finding replacement part anywhere. They are smart to have built their kitchens with such and odd size opening as you will have a very hard time finding replacements outside of buying from them again. The industry standard is 24" and they use 20". Newair seems to be the exact replacement but it's cheap and I don't expect it to last but maybe a year again. but 499.00 vs a couple grand from them. Bottom line is they want to get that one big purchase from you and that's it! They are unique because of the Tiki theme but still not worth the money. I am exploring an FTC lawsuit because I feel I was misled by the fake reviews.

Eight years after purchase review.

I purchased this grill in 2015 and am writing this in 2023. There are many outdoor drop-in grills you can choose from. If there is one reason to purchase from Paradise Grills Direct, its so you don't have to have anything built, its already built. After 7 years of owning the grill, enclosure and refrigerator, I will say the only thing I have to replace, honestly, is the grill. The fridge, and the island are all in good condition.

As to the grill, I will not be buying a replacement grill from Paradise Grills Direct. Aside from the price being far too high for the value, these grills leave a LOT to be desired. The replacement parts required (grills, briquette holders, etc) are far too expensive to be consumables. To replace just the parts that need to be replaced will cost over $1000. Given that I can't buy replacement parts from anywhere EXCEPT Paradise Grills Direct (the parts are proprietary), the cost is a bit outlandish. Some parts broke within the first year.

If I had the opportunity to test other grills, I would not have picked this up, the cold and hot spots on this grill leave a very small area to actually cook without burning, or taking forever to cook. This is not a chefs grill, this is not even an amateurs grill. I am VERY unimpressed with the grill.

If you want a decent cabinet section that has cutouts for a good grill, this is not a bad buy. If you want a working kitchen, I would say go elsewhere.

We LOVE our new Paradise Grills outdoor…

We LOVE our new Paradise Grills outdoor kitchen. The person that helped us pick out our kitchen was extremely patient and knowledgeable and not pushy at all. The quality and aesthetic are top notch, and we saved a lot of money compared to having a custom outdoor kitchen built.

Paradise Grills is no paradise!

We bought our Paradise Grill Island at a home show and at the time was told it had a 'lifetime warranty' which was the driving factor on why we bought it in the first place. Never would we have spent a bloody fortune on a grill if it hadn't come with a lifetime warranty!

When it was delivered a few days later it was damaged because they had piled another grill island on top of it and broke tiles etc. They were very apologetic and a couple of months later sent 2 young men from Florida to try to fix the stucco & tiles in the middle of winter, which they couldn't, so eventually I was sent a new island. The island came with a small black cover that only went over the grill itself so I bought the best cover I could find and have always kept it covered and protected against the elements.

Last year I called to get replacement parts for the grill itself which the salesman told me had a 'lifetime warranty' and was told it only had a 5 year warranty ... luckily my parts were free but during that same phone call I was told that only the 'island' had a lifetime warranty. I thought 'ok', maybe I heard wrong at the home show but was happy that the island would still be covered. WRONG!!!

About a week ago I was outside and heard something fall under my cover. It was one of the granite tiles on the side - it had come loose & broke in half when it hit the deck. When I touched the one next to where that one fell out, it was loose and it was very obvious all the tiles were loose and about to fall out. So, a few days ago I called the main office of Paradise Grills to find out what could be done to fix all the loose & broken granite tiles figuring it still had the 'lifetime warranty' I was told about at the home show AND over the phone. The person I spoke to asked me to send pictures, so I did. Less than 5 minutes later I received another email telling me that my island only had a 1 year warranty and the tiles and stucco were not covered and they do not repair them. She also said they no longer use tiles or stucco on their islands and sent me 2 links to buy the tiles from a 3rd party vendor - so now I'm stuck with having to repair it myself.

I spent nearly $8K on the whole setup. I don't know what happened to this company but it's not what it used to be. They used to stand behind their products, but not anymore. Very sad and disappointed. I posted pictures on YELP. I would never ever recommend anyone buy anything from this company, especially after reading other reviews. Just buy yourself a $500 grill every year - it's still cheaper than this eyesore.

I purchased two units one with a grill…

I purchased two units one with a grill and one with a hibachi. Was pretty excited until having to deal with delivery. They may have one of the worst customer service groups ever! I have sat for hours on hold for them listening to how good their service is! grrrrrr.
One unit shows up the other disappeared.. Took a week to get someone to figure out what was going on. Supposed to be delivered on a Friday afternoon because the delivery guy was going back to FLorida and this was the ONLY time it could be delivered. I moved around appointments and waited for the delivery guy... NO CALL ... NO SHOW... no help from Paradise Grills. Phone rings at 6:30 am Saturday from the delivery guy telling me he will be there in an hour... had kids games to go to, however he said it was the only time he could come. He got there alone to deliver a large heavy unit bounced it around broke tile cracked unit. Spending weeks still trying to get help and NO ONE has been worth anything in helping.
Grills may be nice to look at, but the customer service is useless. They have no problem having you pay, they just have problems delivering. My construction people don't want to install product that is already structurally cracked and broken.
Be very cautious!!!
I'm trying at this point to get them to come and pick it all up.
