Customer service not great
Although the timber and products are very good. The customer service has not been good, phone them and never get a phone call back but no one ever there that can deal with my query. When an item was missed off the delivery and I finally got hold of someone, they offered a refund. However almost 4 months later I am yet to receive the refund

Quality timber and delivery, BUT!
The timber is good quality and delivery and driver are great, but getting someone to confirm a delivery date and/ or call you back is nonexistent. That said when you call and speak to someone they are very friendly, just need to sort out the finer details and it would be a really great service.

It is very quiet in the industry at the moment.
To enable us to sell the highest quality materials at such a cheap price to both public and trade, we have very little office staff for the number of orders we process.
Delivering in such a large delivery area, we wait for orders to land in the areas of delivery to enable us to make a route up, with enough material for us to make our small profit. The country is very slow in all trades due to the cost of living crisis, it's hard to do this as efficiently at the moment because orders aren't flowing in as fast as we would like making it harder to organise routes quickly. This will most likely be the case until early next year when things are to step back up.
I do apologise for not getting the delivery date to you as quickly as we would normally like. Although it was a quick delivery we didn't give you much notice.

Second time I have used Paramount, order came next day. Everything as ordered and the same delivery driver who, again, was very helpful. Very good quality at a very good price.

Great transaction
After much price comparison, Paramount were by far the cheapest for the timber and sheet stock I needed, even delivering to Sheffield.
I placed my order on the 17th, expecting the 2 to 3 day delivery times as stated, it actually arrived the next day. All materials correct with absolute minimal twists or warps.
Great communication from the office and driver alike.
Definitely recommend.

Did not know what to expect quality…
Did not know what to expect quality wise as paramount were over £200 cheaper than other merchants I’d used before, yet the quality of there products was better than some of the more expensive places I’d used before.
Delivery driver was also very friendly and helpful.
Would thoroughly recommend.

Great service
Great service, great prices and great material. Everything that I’d ordered was in stock, delivery was complete and the quality was as expected- nothing warped as is so often the case from other retailers. Good comms all through. Will certainly be using again and 100% recommended!

Delivery was postponed on the 7th of October did not call me to let me know they cancelled the delivery so waited in all day For nothing
Had a text on the 11th October saying they was Going to deliver on the 12th of Octoberon at 12 o'clock then 2 o'clock then 5.10 then Turned up just past 6.
To try to phone these people they answer if you're lucky and say they call you back which they never do waste of time

I do apologise for not getting the delivery to you quicker than we originally expected. Also that the driver arrived at 6pm, our drivers are working hard at the moment, as Deliverys aren't as close to each other as we normally would like and therefore longer days, with more driving.
Would have been nice to get some feedback on the quality of materials and the price, worked in to the review which hopefully would raise it from a 1 Star Review, but I fully understand the frustration on your particular order, and sincerely apologise.

Had paramount do a few deliveries now, they are reliable, cheap and the quality of the timber is excellent.

Great experience
Initially, I was a little skeptical about ordering from a company advertised on Facebook, especially as there was not much filing history on companies House. However the timber I ordered (feather edge) appeared in good time, and was great quality - hardly any wastage. I paid card on delivery, which was smooth through the sumup app. Delivery driver was a great bloke too. No longer skeptical, and I recommend paramount to colleagues and family
The second order there was a mistake made (easily done, CLS mistaken for 3x2) but I didn't notice initially. It was exchanged at a later date without any quibble.
Some advice for best experience:
- pre or post order communication best done through Facebook messenger
- order ahead of time, as these guys are coming from Worcester, so need to plan routes efficiently
- timber is better quality than nationwide suppliers (like Travis for example)
- delivery drivers offload by hand to where you want it, so it's an idea to be ready with a good place to make the most of that
