If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not trust Peter the owner at all. It started off well, he was friendly, and I was really impressed with his commitment. However when the job was complete (Deck staining and new post/rails) and there was a problem with splitting wood (within 2 weeks of completion), he was no longer committed. He had my money, and despite repeated discussions and assurances that it would be fixed, he is no longer taking my calls, or connecting to set up a time to fix. This has been going on now for almost a year and I cannot believe the lack of response. I was extrememly open to finding a solution, but it was to no avail.

He is what I would now call a "scammer" as he is not as good as his word, despite repeated promises. I cannot believe someone like this is in business, and has a link to Home Depot pros. Please beware and STAY AWAY.
I am working with Home depot on sharing this information with others.
The Date of the experience was when the job first started it is now July 2023 and I have NO resolution.
