I ordered my high school transcript through Parchment. The cost was 12 dollars. What they provided was a scan sent by the high school, and it was completely illegible.
I contacted Parchment, and their response was merely "this is what we received".
If they don't proofread what they are supplying, how do they know whether or not they are providing a service that is useful based on what they are charging?
Total waste of time and money.

We had to use Parchment to send transcripts because our high school requires it. We paid and submitted for a large scholarship but it was never received. They don't offer tracking or confirmation. When I reached out to them about sending again or a refund...they said no and "I'm sorry for the inconvenience and frustration that this order has caused you. Unfortunately, we can no long resend it."Morien. They don't even use good grammar for an educational organization. They could cost you thousands of dollars because their system does not guarantee delivery. I would not use at all and their integrity as a company is horrible. I would NOT recommend using this company at all! If I could rate them as 0 stars, I would, since I have received 0 for my $5. They lead you to think you will get your transcript (electronic version) within 24 hrs . I ordered an electronic version of my transcript on 1/23 and it is 1/28 and I have still not received it.
I requested a refund and they say it's out of their hands and my school's fault, of course since they are only the "middle man." Lesson learned, only too late for me but my advice is to just go directly to your school's website - DON'T USE PARCHMENT!!!

I needed to order my undergrad transcript from two different schools. I went on yesterday to try, and every time it was time to pay for my order after I entered all of my information, the webpage crashed and just took me back to the home page. I tried about 3 times for each transcript that day, and the same thing happened. I then went on today to try and do the same thing. It took me a little farther into the order, meaning they took my card information, and then right as I hit the "order" button, it kept saying that an "error occurred". I AGAIN had to do the same process about three times for each transcript for it to finally go through. I swear I better get these transcripts, especially after reading these horrible reviews, but I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't. No website or company should be run like this.

It was all good… until I received one of my transcript open! I ordered two transcripts and paid $12 for both. One is open!! Ridiculous! Unable to reach their customer service support. For $6, I won’t stress myself for this so I just licked the side of the paper and closed it. It looked ridiculous but it’s okay that’s why I didn’t proceed to call my credit card to dispute for the $6 as I might still use it in the future perhaps. But this incident gave way of this company’s irresponsible and negligent handling of important documents. Not sure if I’ll trust them again. Probably because they changed from Arizona to Ohio. The one I got from parchment before was from Arizona and it was so much better than the handling of the Ohio branch which is disastrous.

Paid for a transcript, I had to fill out a form, attach it to file with with the information To who it’s from and who is receiving it and they did not send it to the school so I paid For nothing!! Spoke to customer service they told me I had to pay for the service AGAIN!!! To have a sent to the correct email address even though the correct email address what’s on the form!

Still waiting for certificate, it's been over a month. The website says 5-7 business days. Contacted customer service, they couldn't find the order at first then when finally they do, all they can say is that it was shipped and they can not track cause they use regular mail. All other classmates received their certificate within 2 weeks of ordering. Horrible service and customer service. They don't care if you receive your documents, it's important only to you. Do not recommend this service, avoid them.

If you are an institution and have a choice to dispurse documents any other way... Do it. This is a total garbage service that is predatory towards consumers because there literally is no other option.
They claim that there is clear communication about 30 days availability of your document, but that is not the case, I just had to purchase a replacement (even though there is no record of my computer ever downloading a provided document from them) and no where in the purchase flow does it say you are only entitled to temporarily view your document on their system...
I wish university registrars could take head and move their business elsewhere since that is what is allowing this service to continue to exist.

Went back online to check the order status and it states "no past order " I felt that was odd..sent in a request, now they tell I ordered electronic official transcript only. What the heck, why would I do that and I can print it for free and not $10. I know for a fact I requested mail to self.

Worst company I dealt with in years. They responded to emails, but are not helpful, refuse to provide tracking or refunds. It's been five weeks and I still have not received my order. They said it could take up to another month to process. I ended up having to order directly through my university due to Parchments ineptitude. My university mailed out my diploma the same day of my request. I told Parchment to cancel and refund the order. hey refuse to comply with my requesr. Parchment does not seem to care and did not deliver what was ordered.
