Flowery words promises, promises

Hello Tony thank you for responding to my correspondence via Trust pilot, lovely sentiments, we will contact the vendor and investigate the loss of my parcel. On contacting your helpline this morning it seems nothing has been expedited, same old brick wall same asking me to contact vendor and get email ,postage cost etc.why oh why can't you investigate this matter as you promised as stated on your reply.

I have complained so many times

I have complained so many times that I am sick of it but I will not give up as I need to warn others that this company is unreliable and if there is a loss or damage you can forget about getting compensation even if it was insured as mine was.
August I purchased through ebay. It was collect only so I arranged collection myself with Parcel2Go to be delivered to my own address and paid via paypal. The item was damaged beyond repair by Ups the contractor. Many months went by with me continuing to complain to Ups. Eventually they told me that it was not their problem it was insured with Parcel2Go so contact them. I HAVE on so many occasions I cant count. They keep telling me to contact the sender (pass the buck why don't you!) I AM the sender. They answer on here but do not follow up just another 'contact the sender' over and over. The seller is not involved with this. I got my postage back without problem so why not the insurance?????? HOPELESS COMPANY - DO NOT USE -. ref -P2G105764635. They always ask for this again as they don't read anything.

Absolutely awesome service

Absolutely awesome service - used Parcel2go after my previous broker
stopped using DPD. I tried to book a delivery through them using Parcelforce
and after 30 hours they told me that Parcelforce had declined it. I therefore
booked through Parcel2go. Booked Monday PM - Collected Tuesday AM -
Arrived in remote part of Italy Friday morning - 4 DAYS BEFORE IT SHOULD
HAVE. Thank you P2GO and DPD - I couldn't send a parcel to mv next door
neighbour this quickly and very competitive price. Highly Recommended

Worst company to use for courier

Worst company to use for courier. The only way to communicate with them is through chat and agents at chat reply with standard copy, and paste responses. I have been chasing for 2 weeks regarding the whereabouts of the parcel I sent, but no update from customer service, every time I contact them through sloppy chat, the same response, please wait for a few days we are looking into this. Total disgrace!

this company is totaly usless sent…

this company is totaly usless sent parcel to Pakistan only to find 2 week later it being help because it cost 100.00 but there tax witch is 20% but they came out with 175.00 for item that cost 100.00 so fare parcel2go won't help at all

I used Parcel2go recently to send a big parcel nationally. Unfortunately the parcel did not arrive at the final destination.
Although I paid the insurance for the value of the item. They contacted me after I had some queries regarding the delivery status. I emailed them to remind them that I was insured for the full amount of the item and now they ignore me and I have not seen my money.
Why was I insured for if they think that they can get away with not reimbursing me the full amount?
I used them many times and it seems that when everything goes well, one does not have any problems with them but the moment they are obliged to pay a customer according to the insurance agreement, they vanish and do not reply or offer to pay what they should have paid.
Please keep away from this company!! Only good when things go well and they can make money!!

I placed a parcel pick up from my…

I placed a parcel pick up from my address, after 8 days they still did not pick up, i eventually took my parcel to the drop point myself. their company kept sending messages that they attempted to pick up but could not which was a total lie!! i was home and they never ever attempted to pick up!
There is no way of communicating with this company and no one really cares.

This is an awful company, to date they have not made any refund to me nor have they come back or explained anything
I would keep well away from this horrible company.

SCAM Alert!

If you want to pour money down the drain, using this service is the best place to go. I sent an item costing £311 using this company's service. The item was delivered completely shattered.

Yes, I acknowledge the fact that I should have read the fine print which makes it clear that they will get you to pay approximately £30 for cover but the cover is invalid on most items except books!

I have now lost the refund for my item and the price I paid for cover. A total of £341!

Please, please stay away from these people. This is a scam!

Shockingly bad customer service

Shockingly bad customer service possibly the worst I have experienced yet.
The courier managed to break a steel sink. Which is initself quite a accomplishment one can only imagine what they do to more fragile items.Be sure to check before you buy their insurance as nothing seems to be covered. As i have found out the hard way. They also put the wrong delivery date one my item so once i tried to clame they said i’m One day late. 2 days later and quite a few phone called later to the courier company and the company having Receivern the item. I could prove that this was the wrong date and that i’m eligible for a claim. Then they came back saying they don’t insure sinks. I’m now £300 short plus £25 more on my phone bill. No custumer service Tephone no or email address. But luckily they do offer a Facebook service where you can wait for 2-3 days for a rude reply.

Dreadful service

Dreadful service, they have let me down so many times. No communication, no number to call. Several times I have paid extra for gauranteed delivery and they failed to even collect the parcel! I will NEVER use them again, I’ve given them too many chances. Steer well clear of these guys if you want your parcel deliver on time or at all!

Our experience was devastating when the…

Our experience was devastating when the package went astray. Couldn't contact a human being, told to wait 14 days whilst investigated but that's not what you want to hear is it. With no time to sit and wait I bypassed the so called Customer Services and I wasn't disappointed. Lesley, Customer Support, Refunds & Claims Manager was responsive & attentive to the last making sure the package was found and safely received by the recipient. Wish this could be dissipated down the line to the Customer Services front line. Maybe that's just a matter of time.

Very bad - lost parcel and showed unbelievably incompetence to the point of it being funny

I ordered a collection from my home in UK to go to Chicago:
1) Courier failed to arrive, so I re-booked taking it to a MyHermes shop.
2) The courier arrived after I had taken to MyHermes and two day after should have.
3)They lost the parcel. There are no phone numbers, and with great difficult I managed to raise a complaint.
4) They sent a courier to collect the parcel (the one they had and lost). I told the courier it had been collected a month ago and was now lost.
5) Following this their website closed my complaint stating the parcel was no longer required.
6) I complained again, & was told to file documents proving the parcel was collected and not delivered, even though their website confirmed this was the case. I was given "-6 days" to do this - yes that's right minus 6 days!.
7) Finally they offered minimal compensation because I had failed to insure against their incompetence.
8) After I had posted the above, a parcel arrived with a label showing my address, but containing Christmas present which should have been delivered to Texas! I contacted the UK sender and returned them to her. She had been sent a parcel of present for someone in USA and was trying to track the send down. Incredible!

we sent a parcel to Spain

we sent a parcel to Spain - everything went well UNTIL, that is, the parcel didn't get there. the courier could not provide any proof of delivery. we waited a week, chased them twice - nothing.
then it got worse - there is no way to get to customer service except one of those "chat bots" but the people at the other end are probably literally robots and keep repeating "can i help you with anything else" - "pls get a signature for proof" - WE CANT GET PROOF IT WAS NOT DELIVERED!
I am sure this is a good business when it goes well, but then most are...but when it goes wrong it is the worst and most miserable waste of time. We used them initially to save a few pounds - a mistake we won't make again - their customer service has got to be the worst i have experienced in a very very long time....
in the end we wasted an hour with the "chat robot" got nowhere except that they told us to email the claims dept. getting that answer took a full hour.
Use this company at your own risk because that is what you are doing! and don't be fooled by talk of insuring your package etc. because my own experience suggests that that means nothing

HI my order number is P2G41490128 this is for 2 parcels. Your date was no later than May 1st the parcels were delivered today. This cost me over £90 and they were delivered 3 days after the no later than date. I would like a full refund please - Thank you Your live chat will not issue a refund

Parcel boomeranged back to me...

I was attempting to send a large parcel to a friend in Australia; it disappeared off the tracking radar after a few days, and I spent the next few weeks worrying about what had happened to it/having Live Chats with Parcel2Go.com to try to find out what was happening (they said they'd contact the courier and get back to me; this didn't happen); and eventually, three weeks to the day after my parcel had been collected, it was delivered back to me, with a new label, featuring a combination of my intended recipient's name and my address! What can I say...? I then had to claim back the price I'd paid Parcel2Go.com; there was no apology, no compensation for the time I'd spent worrying/repackaging the parcel (for my next attempt at sending it)...

I've had more positive encounters with Parcel2Go.com too, but this recent dispiriting experience has really made me lose faith in the company.

Only used once but they have been fantastic

Used Parle2go to book a courier to deliver a have eBay item. It was cheap and easy just input measurements and weight and courier(which I'm not sure if I'm allowed to name) came to collect the next day. The item was then delivered safely to the destination within 24 hours. I had also booked another courier via PayPal who didn't arrive to collect the parcel and were more expensive so this just made Parcle2go seem so much better.

Seems brilliant I have no complaints whatsoever.

cheating

I made few parcels with them and by mistake one parcel weight was 200 gram more than declared so contacted them through chat agent told me to pay extra she sent me link ipaid it same time before sending after two day they sent me another bill for the the same thing i contacted they firt don,t understand then changed to something else they wasted nearly an hour still
want me to pay pay extra 2 times
