It was a great day and now have a beautiful knife.

We bought this as a gift for our husbands & my son tagged on. They had a great time. Dan was brilliant & they made 3 different knives. We use the chef knife everyday & it’s brilliant. Definitely recommend a course & the knives.

Super day and a great experience. I learnt lots from Dan about the knife making process and came away with a fantastic cooks knife. The only slight negative was that a little more advanced information about the day would have helped around catering etc.

Fabulous sommelier tool - beautifully made. Comes in a lovely leather case too making it the perfect gift (buy 2 as you’ll want to keep one for yourself).

I attended the knife making experience with Dan in October. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day with lots of new skills and tips around all things knives. The result was the best kitchen knife I have ever used and an obsession with sharpening.

My son had sent me a link as a hint for his 40th birthday present for the Nakiri knife but didn’t think he’d get one as out of our price range.
I saw them reduced at one time so thought I would get one as my other sons could go in on it too but by the time I went to order they had gone back to original price, I contacted the company and spoke to Dan who was just lovely and when I told him he really kindly let me buy it at the discounted price.

I had a great day with Dan making chefs knife. As a silversmith I love to make my own tools and the opportunity to make a knife was too good to miss. His workshop is fantastic and in beautiful countryside next to a great cafe for lunch. His patient tuition led to a super-sharp beautiful knife that is now in daily use. Thanks Dan x

It was very easy to get what I was looking for and the purchasing process was quick and simple.

The morning started with a coffee and chat/induction/H&S check with Dan Maltwood our host and creator of Pareusi. We then selected knife styles and blanks, selected hardwood and handle type and set the CNC cutters into action. the day was spent on reducing the high carbon steel blades to v shape, sharpening techniques adding , fixxing the handle, riveting in brass and finishing- we let dan do the final honing of the blade, before finishing and seasoning the handle- oh we had a lovely lunch in the adjoining cafe - top marks for a great day coming home with a beautiful personalised chopping knife. Day was a great experience. Dan was great at guiding me through and explaining the importance of each step to create my desired weapon of choice! You get to choose the knife handle and shape of the blade to really customise your own blade.

I am very lucky to have 5 of these knives , they are superbly sharp and seem specially weighted just for me! I love using them.

Attended the knife making experience with Dan and it was incredible. Wonderful couple of days making a stunning kitchen knife that I'm sure I'll be using for the rest of my days. Dan made me feel very welcome and at ease, ran through everything and was always happy to answer questions. With his experience the making of the knife was a breeze, with everything being explained but still letting me get stuck in and do it all myself. I'd recommend immediately to anyone looking for a gift for the chef or avid home cook in their lives looking for something that little bit special.
