The kiosk in the parking lot only allowed for choosing either 8 or 12 hours at exorbitant rates. After locating a "smart" phone I was able to text the number and extend the time to 3 days (which is wh... See more

Paid for my parking followed their rules and still got tickets in the mail.
Well we went into the first lot and tried to park. The QR code scan wouldn’t let us pay, we tried to text the number and tried to pay multiple time but it wouldn’t let us.( multiple people were having the same issue. Pull the camera and you will see all of us out there scanning and talking about it) So instead of parking illegally and getting at ticket we moved to the lot across the road and it let us pay. So that went fine. However I now have two tickets one from each lot. One saying I didn’t pay which I couldn’t (so check the camera) (so we moved) and the other says I left past my time which is not true. We were back at the car at our time and pulled out of the spot. I had to change my daughter so we were a few min longer pulling out of the drive way which is what the photo indicate. We did our absolute best to comply with the parking rules and pay however I’ve got two tickets over 90 bucks for my wife’s Yukon. I was sitting in my vehicle when it said our time had expired. We left the Alamo early to make sure we got back. In addition my father and mother were driving my truck and followed the same pattern so I’m sure I’ve got 4 tickets over 90 bucks which is completely absurd. I will be calling to dispute. We paid for our parking. We left at our departure time. We should not have received any tickets. The parking was fine and will get a 5 star rating if these tickets are corrected.
Worked for me
Easy to use system

Could not get the app to load using the QR code on the sign in the parking lot. Also when I put the lot ID number in the SA Park app it could not find the location. Parking is way too expensive at this lot
I dramatically over paid for parking
I dramatically over paid for parking. First I went to a lot across the street but the only option was a $40 al day rate on the weekend. Than I went next door. Picked 2 hours for $25 which was absurd to begin with. Only to extend my time and I got the same rate of $25 for 1-8 hours. I did not clearly see the parking rates. Had I seen the list I would have chosen the 8 hours and saved time and money. Instead I pretty much double paid for parking. The extension was your way of starting over basically.

Great place to park if you're going to the Alamo or the River Walk. Not a bad price at all. Sent me text 20 b4 my time was to run out, which is a great reminder.
Way too expensive
way too expensive,
25 Plus for two hour, actually only stayed for 15 minutes. Criminally insane cost, All to see my youngest son swear in as a US Army Soldier. These people should be ashamed, drive tourist away and locals .. Crooks

I did not like the price of $10 per hour. I think that was too much to spend for a family of 4 trying to enjoy our Texas history.
Peace of cake to park and pay
Peace of cake to park and pay. Great communication with texts letting me know when my time was about to expire.
Pickpocket parking
The rates you are charging are a travesty. The lots need a tremendous amount of improvement to justify these rates.
Add an extra hour just in case!
At least we were able to get the parking feature to work on our cellphones to make a payment. Buy more time than you think you will use - if you're on a tour or visiting somewhere, it may take longer than you think! We learned the hard way when we had to add more time.

received bill for alleged nonpayment
After multiple attempts to pay on my phone I ended up using my wife's phone who had already paid for her own vehicle's parking. I have since received a bill in the mail for $55 saying I didn't pay, though 2 parking payment amounts were deducted from my account.
Great parking location
Great parking location, easy to access in and out, and the payment is very nice.
Great Accessibility and Ease of Pay
Great accessibility of parking to get to my destination. Excellent place, walking distance from tourist attractions. Easy to park and easy to pay for parking. No issues and great location.
Extremely overpriced
Kind of ridiculous that it cost me almost $40 to park for just over an hour. I get it's a busy downtown area, but that just seems excessive.

I liked that it was next door to our hotel and seemed safe. I did not like that no where posted were the nightly rates and how difficult it was to calculate your parking time. There should be a way to select a time slot which you are planning to leave instead of calculating how many days/hours/minuets are between the present and when you plan to leave.
