We paid in advance and reserved a space but none was available.

We paid in advance and reserved a parking space. We arrived to a jammed packed garage with no space. Everyone was making a U-turn and took 30 minutes to get out. There was no attendant on duty to assist and no security around. I would like a refund since there was no parking space. Would not recommend Watergate Hotel parking.

Paid for a garage and gate wouldn’t open

The garage gate would not open using the code and the company that runs the garage could not remotely open the gate for me. So I paid for a night of use that I did not get to use and have no way of getting a refund because your company policy is that once the scan in is complete that you are not responsible to refund.
So basically it was a bad experience that I don’t have the time or energy to fight for a refund unless you just want to provide me one without me having to make a dozen phone calls and track down why the gate with the exact address used on the application wouldn’t open nor could the garage company remotely open the gate for me.

Jerked around and ripped off

At 09:45 we scanned our ticket, the payment came up, we paid with a credit card and there was a notice to leave by 10:12 or pay again. It was confusing to try to figure out how to get out. Drove up to the exit arm, once again scanned our ticket and nothing happened. The exit bar would not go up. No one in the booth, closed up for the night. Found a phone icon in the corner of the screen. A lady came on and told us to back down the narrow ramp and pay again. We tried. She said we owed another $16 dollars. The kiosk would not allow this. Drove back up the ramp, spoke with a gentleman who had us read tiny letters on our barcoded ticket. He said we owed $16 but did not make us back down the hill. We paid and then the bar went up. We were jerked around and ripped off. Never go into this garage again! Other people were there as well, getting ripped off as well. They could not exit the garage, just like us. Awful!

Mixed feelings

Was easy to find parking. However, their instructions to scan the barcode upon entering and upon exiting the garage didn't work because that garage HAS NO barcode scanners! You can only and enter with a ticket. Surprising, but Parking.com should know this.

Broken payment machine

The payment machine wasn’t operational, customers were not able to leave the garage because the gate wasn’t working and we had to wait a long time to leave.

Never use this site!!!

I bought parking ticket but it doesn’t work! So I paid the fee double and I cannot connect the customer service for refund. It requires more than the lot wants to pay. Too expensive and poorest service!!!

Never Again, well maybe one more time

To my surprise, I received a credit for parking I was unable to use and cited in the review below. I appreciated that, and now am willing to try advance pay again. If you use this just be sure you use the correct entrance, and follow the instructions for how to use the ticket upon entering and exiting.

I found the online instructions confusing but got through it. Then, I ended up paying twice and not using this advance-paid ticket. It was my fault. I confused this Watergate garage with the one facing Kennedy Center’s garage that my physically challenged friend could navigate more easily. The map on your web site was not clear, even to those of us who have spent decades around the Ken Cen. All this to save a couple bucks? It wasn’t worth it. P.S. You do make clear how to use your phone/print code, indicating it’s challenging. And, from watching folks in the 658 garage use it, it certainly is challenging. But you don’t make clear — until the confirmation is issued —that there are no refunds for unused tickets. All around, your service is a total waste of time and money.

I purchased prepaid scan ticket from 6:30pm to 11:00pm but I got to garage at 6:19pm and the scan ticket was not accepted but I had to take ticket. Soooo, when tried to check out later had to pay twice ($16). No way to get credit for prepaid scan ticket. Plus, No assistant available to try to resolve issue. Very bad service!!

I will add that I contacted Park and they agreed to refund $16. Appreciate their response!!

Couldn't find the place!

I couldn't find the garage and ended up having to park on the street! No street number was visible. Fortunately I didn't get a parking ticket.
