The items sold around 2020 were better than now.

I purchased cordless vacuum (that I still use in 2026) that I can give 4/5 stars and is pretty good. Same about a cordless drill (it lasted for almost 5 years) and electric screwdriver I still use till today (purchased in 2020). The vacuum never reappeared after 2021, the cordless drill is now some new version which is so much worse and only lasted me literally a few months of light use. The other equipment is a joke. The circular saw is squint in all 3 axis, it's IMPOSSIBLE to cut anything with it, same thing about the jig saw. Multitool is loud and shaky as hell and falls apart in a month or less.

It's no point to purchase parkside any longer, since you cannot even do basic work with it and since other semi-pro tolls are cheap to buy

I've used parkside cordless 'tools'

I've used parkside cordless drills, angle grinders, saws, multitools and other 'tools' of theirs but ALL of them have failed after a very short time.
Whats worse is that the batteries are the worst I've ever found, holding a charge for just a very short while is ok and expected with such cheap products, tempting you to buy many back up batteries, but if you don't use them for a week or two they completely drain rendering them UN RECHARGABLE.
This can unofficially and very dangerously be remedied by taking the battery apart and charging it up from another power source sometimes ricking their explosion, but even when done successfully they just totally fail very soon.
They really shouldn't be allowed to sell such grossly sub standard toys, they are very soon not fit for purpose....WARNING, SIMPLY DO NOT BUY.

SCAM

SCAM - Lidl the owner of the Parkside tools brand does not sell online. The site looks professional and seems real however it is all fake. When you order you get confirmation and shipping info... however you never get the tool you ordered and your money is gone.
DO NOT ORDER ANY PARKSIDE TOOLS ONLINE.

Waste of money

Ordered the hedge trimmer it never arrived. They do a fake tracking system and it tell you it has arrived but hasn't.
Sent a few emails but nothing happened. Do not waste your money

The good the bad and the ugly

The good is the cordless stapler i recently bought and other Parkside tools I've accumulated over the years.
The bad and the ugly I'm lumped together in the form of the Parkside cold frame bought a couple of days ago. I firmly believe that my wife and I could have put together an IKEA flat pack bedroom furniture suite in less time that it took to assemble the 5 flimsy sheets of polycarbonate framed in the thinnest aluminium channel I've ever come across. Yes, the top does lift for ventilation. Unfortunately, the faintest zephyr will free it from it's pointless stays whilst lifting a back corner from it's channel. £30 quids worth of tat. Saints who buy it will curse quietly I'm no Saint.

I was scammed

I was scammed, payed nearly £60.00 for a selection of DIY tools to what I thought was Parkside diy. the company that took the money from my credit card was OTT*DALLYCLOTHING. The so called customer services had an e-mail address :service at inpromail whom I contacted and was fed a load of rubbish by someone called Jonas Curme. eventually I contacted my credit card for a recharge which I got within a week. tried to contact Parkside but there web site does not lend itself to give this sort of information
