Worst Christmas experience ever ...
I ordered a salmon and beef wellington for Christmas online. I was confirmed to collect from the Belgravia shop at 3pm on 24th.
On 23rd they left me a voicemail saying i would have to collect earlier which i didnt see till the collection date and time, since i rely on email being my primary mode of contact.
They closed their shop at 2pm.
And i was left with no food for Christmas. Had to emergency shop and make do with M&S.
Worse still they insisted my son who was at the shop at 3pm with no lights on was lying and their store was in fact being cleaned till 3.45pm.
Why they think my son would return empty handed if there was anyone visibly in the shop is beyond me. Perhaps he should have banged the shop windows!
I was amazed when they refused to offer me a refund - instead i got a rude email about some cctv footage of lights being on!
No neighbourhood spirit this.
And to think i went to support my local butcher in Christmas spirit!

Purnima, thank you for your review and sincere apologies for your experience.
However, you were called multiple times by the staff in the Belgravia store requesting that you collect your items.
You ordered a Salmon and a Beef Wellington, which were both made by hand specifically for you.
You did not reply to any calls.
You stated that the lights were off at 3pm and your son was at the door. It is very difficult to say this any other way. We have CCTV cameras both inside and outside the store. The lights were on until 3.52pm, when our staff can be seen trying to contact you again by telephone.
There was no attempt by anyone to gain entry at 3pm. We know this, because there are CCTV cameras on all sides of the store.
The fact that we did not offer a refund and the reasons are clearly in or terms and emails sent to you upon order.
The items are expensive and we make them to order. It is not reasonable for you to expect us to destroy the items and fully refund you because you did not collect the items.
We try our hardest to over deliver to our customers and we have worked especially hard to do this with the residents of Belgravia.
It is a shame that you feel the need to write such a negative review, when the facts are incorrect.
Again, sincere apologies for the experience, but the responsibility does not just rest with us.
Super tasty, tender meat. And great service
I ordered meat for my son for Christmas. He loves good meat and says that supermarket meat is tasteless. I agree! Parson's Nose meat is entirely different. It is fresh, tender and full of flavour. Parson's Nose sells Wagyu meat which is super-special. They also sell meat from ex-dairy cows, which is also very tender. Parson's Nose staff are very helpful. They ensure that the meat is delivered directly to my son's front door. Fresh from the bone!! Fantastic meat and great service!

10/10 Beef Wellington
We ordered a beef wellington for Christmas dinner and we were thoroughly impressed. The quality of the meat was outstanding and our entire dinner party stated it was the best they had ever had! Ordering was straightforward and being able to choose the delivery day was super convenient. It turned up exactly when it stated it would and the presentation of the package was also high quality. Came with cooking instructions and was beautifully presented. We did consider buying from ‘big brand names’ but we’re super glad we went with Parson’s Nose, absolutely 10/10 from start to finish.

Absolutely delighted! I felt I was taking a risk ordering a Beef Wellington from a company I hadn’t used before but I cannot say how delicious it was. We have one every year from a well known department store but changed due to the massive price increase they put on it. So pleased I did as this was better quality, bigger and a better price. All my guests said it was the best they had had and took the details so they can order next year too! Thank you for an excellent service and top quality meat, I will be ordering again.
