Party City Reviews 

I recently shopped at my local party city. I have shopped there many times over the past few years and have even given this store glowing reviews for the excellent, friendly employees. The employees truly do influence the entire store experience. However, my most recent visit to my local Wooster, Ohio Party City was much different than all other previous visits. The employee cashier had a sour look on her face even before I approached the counter to checkout. Upon putting my things onto the counter I asked to purchase a piñata. Without a hello or ok she simply walked away and muttered curse words as she struggled with a pole to get the piñata down. In front of my 3 young children no less. She returned to the counter and unhappily rang up all my purchases and gave my total. I attempted to hand her 4 $20 bills to which she quickly withdrew her hand acting as tho I had a disease and firmly instructed me to lay my money down onto the counter. I complied and she used a pen to mark and poke at my money like I was trying to poison her. She finally picked up my money and threw my change down onto the counter. Instantly she the grabbed a bottle of hand sanitizer in front of us and obsessively rubbed her hands with it. Needless to say I didn’t receive a nice smile or have a nice day either! This was the most horrible employee I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with! She gives Party City a HORRIBLE NAME! The store was 5228. TRN 18 REG 1 3-17-2020 3:10:13PM.

I ordered center pieces for our party along with a few other items so that I may qualify for free shipping. When shipment arrived they were not in it. I called and was told that they would be arriving in a second shipment in 3 days. That never happened. I called again and again were told they were on the way. After still not receiving them 3 days before the party, I called again and was told they were being over knighted to me. next day came, no shipment. I called again and was told I would have them the next day (the day before the party). next day came and I received an e-mail that they were sorry they could not send my order. (after being assured it was already sent and on the way). I had no time to order anything else and had to go to Hobby Lobby, spend a lot more than this order would have cost, make all my own center pieces at crunch time (night before party). Super stressful experience. Was offered no compensation for the hassle, or even a phone call to apologize. just a generic e-mail. Will never do business with Party City again

I ordered a customized balloon on the Party City website which was to be sent to the store and I had email confirmation regarding this and it was never done. This was for a special event and I was let down. I was very disappointed The customer service is terrible in the store. (Bradenton Florida location) They did not care and I will never ever purchase anything from Party City again. I will definitely go to their competitors even though is more expensive but I know that my request will be taken care of from previous purchases. I made the wrong decision to go with party city -please don't do the same.

I got some of my goddaughters party supplies at party City, they had some nice things for parties, but it costed too freaking much,$7 for a snowflake candle. I also got some champagne glasses and napkins there, for a engagement party, too let my family know about the engagement. The napkins said, she said yes. Lock my napkins I kept one in my family album but I still say their prices are too high.

I was sent an email for a coupon code by Party City itself but when I went to use the coupon it would not work. I emailed the company twice about honoring their promo code and did not hear back from them. If Party City will not honor promo then why send it to my personal email aside to make me very upset at checkout!

I went to three party cities that said they have a custume online. When I got there I was told they didn't have any in stock. I was told to order online, when I did I paid for next day shipping and then received an email that it would arrive in 4 days. This sucks!!! I recommend amazon, party city SUCKS!

I bought a pinata that cost $39.95 and build it only about halfway with candy because it was a quite large pinata hung it from the tree that handle broke through on the top it fell to the ground bust wide open not one child at the party got to hit the pinata and then I bought 20 glow-in-the-dark swords and almost every one of them was broke within five seconds of taking it out of the package they were that cheaply made some of them were broke inside the package they were a dollar 69 each I like the fact that they have a large variety a bottoms but they are way way overpriced for the quality or the cheap quality of items you get there

Party City has amazing options, from costumes to tons of different accessories ! It’s good quality but it can be pricey sometimes. Overall it’s a well orientated place to shop! And I would definitely recommend trying this plays out!.

This was the worst place i have ever had to deal with to get a delivery. Firstly their tracking system is horrible and never up to date.. Then you pay extra to ensure you get an item on time and still are not guarenteed you will get it.
It was the worst experience i have ever had and will NEVER deal with this company again.
Also dont be fooled by the canadian site address. They unwillingly ship from the states so when a customer thinks items are coming within canada... wrong... they are NOT...
Think twice before ordering form this company and if you do.. just dont be dependant on a date of arrival.. just to be safe.

Party City is the absolute worst. I placed and order with them this week for my son's 10th birthday. The order said Est. deliver will be 12/13/19. So I said great. I placed my order and would you believe when I checked the order status it said to be delivered by 12/17/19. When I finally got through to someone after being hung up on several times. I spoke with a young lady who said with ground it could take up to 3-5 business days. I said what, but your site which I have the print out that says ...estimate delivery 12/13/19. If I knew you guys had no intention of sticking to that day I would not have ordered with you all. Better yet, why would you guys not be truthful and say the delivery date will be from 12/13-12/17. Why would you mislead people to believe that you can provide a product by a certain date when in actually you can not. You guys are the worst and continue to be. You force people to strictly deal with Amazon..Walmart and Target. I am so disappointed in your company. And you will see failure in the future if you continue to mistreat and mislead people. I learned my lesson. NEVER AGAIN.

Super unhappy with Party City! I placed an order November 22nd and selected rush shipping to receive my order in 2-5 business days and it still has not shipped. I have emailed so many times I have lost track now and no one with help me. The order says it was sent to "international processing center" November 25th and had not moved since. My event has now passed for half of the items and it doesn't look like I am ever going to get the rest of the order and no one will contact me back on what is going on with the order or help my solve this problem. I have never had such bad service in my life!

Visit to Party City in WF, Texas. Pleasant experience. Although they did not have in store what I was looking for specifically (hence 4 stars), I bought some really cute stuff for DD's Birthday party. Huge selection of party suppies, staff members were very friendly and helpful, and PC manager opened up an extra cash register after noticing a 3rd person in line.

It’s not that great if a place to work at, the pay is crap, the hours are crap and it’s one of the most underpaid jobs for how much the company is worth, you would think that a 3 billion dollar corporation could at least pay their employees 9-10 dollars for the amount of work they have you do, all this stupid freight that doesn’t even need to be brought to stores considering the fact that there’s so much in up stock that it overflows and makes the stores look messy and like trash, i guess it’s okay for a first time job but not for anything else, you can make more starting off at McDonald’s for half the responsibilities, but yeah party city is definitely not a good job whatsoever.

It is just horrible, the service and the quality of the products.. Everything.

Frigging ridiculous, the essence of a pickup service is to reduce my stress, I got to the store four hours after placing order and after STANDING on the queue ( which I was avoiding by shopping online in the first place) for 20 mins, I got an email that my order was canceled. No explanation nothing

I ordered my costumes on October 3rd and paid extra for the 2-5 day shipping. Here it is October 11th and I have not received it yet. I went on the website to track it and it has not be shipped yet. I have emailed costumer service two times in two days with not response. Poor service in my opinion.
