I have enjoyed during all modules the approach from trainer side - meaning that the focus was on how to explain the logic behind instead of just presenting the technical material.
I appreciated all the efforts to answer to on-spot questions coming from students during the live sessions and extensive Q&A sessions.

What did you like about the course?:
Having been in the building industry for many years there was not a lot of new information. I did however like how the course has everything in a place on how to design a passive house. Teaching the passive house system was spot on.

The economics portion was great as I think every design professional should be able to perform those calculations to show the financial impacts of a decision.

The recorded videos for me was the way to go. I could listen to them at 1.5 to 2x speed so I was not bored. Otherwise I would have had a hard time staying focused.

What is your overall opinion about the course?:
The course was great. Anton was very helpful when I got behind and giving feedback on the homework. I have another engineer or two on our team that I'm going to recommend that he take the course.

This On-Line Certified Passive House Designer Course is run by father and son team of Svetlin and Anton, who were extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the subject.
There was a manageable on-line class size of about 15 students from various different professional backrounds. The on-line tutorials were very clearly explained step by step, with opportunities for questions to be asked, and very good course materials available. Anton also was happy to answer queries or give advice outside of the on-line lectures.

Amazing workshops. I've taken a lot of training courses in my career of over 25 years in the area of sustainability, and I can genuinely say that they are one of the very best. The sessions were fantastic as they enabled me to learn as much as possible about the Passive house principles and implementation. Their determination to transfer us the Passive house knowledge was on a high level, that I feel confident and able to undertake projects on my own. They were always kind answering questions verbally, through e-mails and even being available to talk over the phone in the time out of the course session.

Very well and organized Structure which takes your hand from zero to hero level in passive house buildings which is really fruitful, Anton and Svetlin are very friendly and knowledgeable and will help you to have the experience needed. Although I've been doing research in the field of energy efficiency for a couple of years, taking part in this course was extremely beneficial for me. I've learned so much and I even redirected my research interests towards passivhouss buildings. Anton and svetlin are fantastic instructors with not only a deep theorical knowledge, but also an extensive practical experience. The preparation for the exam covered all aspects. I'am looking forward for my next training with the Passive House School which hopefully will be PHPP expert.

Thank you to Svetlin and Anton for a rich and rewarding experience taking your PH Designer course. The course material can be quite challenging to sometimes due to the breadth and depth of the subject but the course leaders are impressively knowledgeable and always willing to help. Communication was fantastic during the entirety of the course and the obvious enthusiasm shared by Anton and Svetlin for everything PH is inspiring. If you are looking to take the PH designer course, pass the exam or work in any other way with the PH solutions they offer, do not hesitate! A great experience and highly recommended.

I participated in the Certified Passive House Designer online course and I am so grateful with the experience. The explanations were really clear I wish all the teachers explained as good and After the course Anton was very accesible through email for all the questions in order to help for the test preparation. I have learnt a lot about passive house and excited about putting all the concepts in practice.

The course was taught in an interactive way, by very friendly instructors. The course material is very practical and actionable. the PHPP workshop is very important, appreciate the training.

I took CPHD online course with the Passive House School. I loved that this is the only course that gives a prescriptive approach to designing energy-efficient buildings and a wholesome approach to efficient building design and construction.
The PH emphasizes Thermal Bridges and offers practical strategies to eliminate them. Thermal Bridges are not addressed well enough in other CODES, yet they are the single most reason buildings lose energy through their envelopes and increase GHG emissions into the atmosphere.
