I loved being able to travel for my birthday without having to think about planning. I’m always the planner so I can testify that this trip was well planned. You really arrive as strangers and leave as family. We had an authentic experience in Panama and I would recommend for others to give her a shot!

I just got back from an unforgettable group trip to Panama with Passport Poppin 🌴✈️
From start to finish, everything was so well organized, which made it easy to just relax and enjoy the experience. One of the highlights was visiting Colón—such a vibrant place with so much culture and history. But what truly stood out was our visit to an indigenous tribe. It was an eye-opening and humbling experience to learn about their traditions, way of life, and deep connection to the land. Being welcomed into their community is something I’ll never forget.
Traveling with a group made the whole trip even better—great vibes, new friendships, and shared memories that made every moment more meaningful. Passport Poppin really knows how to curate experiences that go beyond typical tourism.
If you’re looking for a trip that blends culture, adventure, and connection, I’d definitely recommend traveling with Passport Poppin again.

I had an amazing first trip out of country, I would definitely use passportpoppin in the future. My daughter showed me a wonderful time, I felt so at home in the village, what a wonderful experience for my 1st stamp, now to think about the next country and where I will end up.

I absolutely enjoyed my travel experience with Passport Poppin and my trip to Panama City, Panama! Everything was planned out so wonderfully, everyone was so nice, friendly and easy going too. Akeia is truly a real life "Dora the Explorer". She took me out of my comfort zone with the itinerary for this trip. I enjoyed every single bit of it, had so much fun, and to top it off, my group was THE BEST GROUP EVER!!! 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend!!!

I had a great experience with Passport Poppin to Panama! It was a well-rounded lineup of events that had something for everyone. Good accommodations, the best tour guide ever (Dan the Man!), and a glimpse at local and indigenous life and culture.

I booked with Passport poppin after seeing them on TikTok. I chose to go to Panama from March 12th - 16th.

I wanted to solo travel but not completely by myself. To travel to another country, meet up with total strangers and experience the country with them for 4 days seemed like a great option.

I almost didn’t go on this trip. I was financially insecure and didn’t think it was a good idea to pay for a trip when other things in life needed to be done. Akeia, owner of Passport Poppin, was able to make it so I could pay monthly instead of every 2 months, which lowered my payment enough for me to pay for the trip with ease. I was shocked at how she made it work as other traveling agencies are very strict with their method of payment.

I was nervous about the trip because I didn’t know what kind of people were going or how I was going to get from A to B… until we had our first zoom call. There was a chat room for people attending the Panamá trip that we posted on pretty frequently and received information from Akeia about the trip (this was on top of the emails we received).

That first zoom call made me excited to go on the trip and meet the people scheduled to go aswell. It was nice to put a face to the names and Profile pics on the group chat. Akeia left no question unanswered and put everyone at ease. Everything she said on the zoom calls prior to the trip was met.

Everything was planned perfectly. On the first day, Akeia posted instructions and even a video showing where to go after getting off the plane. When I landed in Panama, I received a WhatsApp message from our driver giving instructions on where he is located after we get out of customs.

I was able to meet 5 people from our group at the airport, which was great! We were all in this together. Check in was a breeze and my hotel room a beautiful! I had a view of Panamá city from the 19th floor.

The transportation to and from the excursions were excellent. We were in air conditioned, clean and spacious buses. We even had a tour guide, Dan, who was not only enthusiastic but also knowledgeable about Panamá.

By the last day, our group was hanging out in Old Panamá and were asked if we were family! That’s how well we got along.

I was safe mentally, emotionally and physically on this trip. Panamá is an amazing country and I’d totally go back again to stay longer.

Needless to say, I will be going on another Passport Poppin trip! There are 3 more things to mention :

First, let me tell you that my family thought I was crazy and I did not receive a lot of support with going to Panama. They were afraid of the current war and my going to another country by myself.

Second…. IM SO GLAD I DIDN'T LISTEN TO MY FAMILY!!!

Third, my brain chemistry has forever changed because of this trip. For that I’m grateful and will always support Paasport Poppin.

This trip to Panama was my gift to myself for my 50th birthday, and I can honestly say it exceeded all expectations. I had an incredible time the experience was amazing, and the company made it even more special. It was truly worth it. AKEA did an outstanding job taking care of us; everything was well planned, and I truly appreciate it. I can’t wait to do it again.🥰

My trip to Panama was absolutely amazing! Everything was organized so well, and it made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. From the planning to the activities, everything was thoughtfully put together. Panama is such a beautiful destination, and I’m so glad I booked through Akeia. I would definitely travel with Passport Poppin again!

I made my deposit under the impression that the trip was guaranteed a headcount for the February Galentine‘s trip upon calling and making arrangements for my payment. I found out that that’s not the case. Luckily I called because no one told me not to book my flight so I’m uneasy about the schedule regarding my birthday dates and I don’t want to move forward

Kima, made my vacation experience amazing, I didn't have to mistake of the thinking and planning. So I could enjoy my vacation, not just my wife. They are great at know what to expect and gave us several options for us to choose from. I would recommend working with them again.

The pros: I arrived and returned safely.

The cons: I ultimately had to find my own accommodations due to several significant missteps:

I requested a ceiling price for hotel accommodations but was sent options nearly double my stated limit.

I was told the hotel would hold $100 for the duration of my stay, but upon arrival, I was informed it was $150 per night—a major difference in budgeting.

After notifying the agent, I was told to expect a follow-up email to help improve the remainder of my trip. That email never arrived.

When I was ready to book ground transportation, the price had nearly doubled from the initial quote. While I understand rates fluctuate, the agent sent the new booking without acknowledging or explaining the increase. Only after I questioned it did she offer a small discount.

I initially expressed interest in the Four Seasons Paris. The second quote I received was over $8,000 for four nights—almost triple the first quote. When I raised the issue, the response was surprise rather than acknowledgment or proactive communication.

The ground transportation that was arranged required me to locate the driver in a large, unfamiliar parking garage. It took 45 minutes to connect because the driver made no effort to find me.

Since my return, I have not received a single follow-up or courtesy check-in from the agency.

For context, I’ve traveled internationally for over 35 years and typically book luxury accommodations through agencies such as Virtuoso. This time, I chose to support a local Black-owned agency and work within a tighter budget. Unfortunately, this experience reinforced an old saying: you get what you pay for.

The process was smooth to talk to someone, and Nakeba was so helpful and reassuring!

Kima was such a joy to work with! She made traveling with a group of six people such a breeze. From her responsiveness to her attention detail, Kima truly made our travel experience a great one! I would highly recommend working with Kima and I would also love to work with her again!

Kima planned my 30th birthday with 6 of my other friends. She was super professional and attentive. Any problem or question that we had was answered. I will continue to use her for future trips!

Kima did a phenomenal job with everything!! From booking the trip, to great and quick communication to rebooking excursions due to weather. I would highly recommend and utilize her services again!
