There were days when I felt like I was getting everything wrong, but Joe helped me see those moments as learning opportunities, not failures. That approach made all the difference.

I’d had two instructors before in Leeds – the second one left me completely deflated and full of doubt. But Joe helped rebuild my confidence and belief in myself. Thanks to his patience, support, and guidance, I passed with just one fault (I messed up my reverse bay parking reference point – totally on me!).

If you're looking for someone who will truly invest in your success, both on the test and beyond, I can’t recommend Uncle Joe highly enough.

I came to Uncle Joe with zero experience in driving a manual car but he helped me massively. He is an instructor that is always very helpful and attentive to his students and great if you would like to do an accelerated course (which is what I did). After 10 hours of driving a manual car, I gained a lot of confidence in driving and passed my driving and theory exam on the first time. I highly recommend Uncle Joe to anyone wanting to learn how to drive whether they have zero experience or lots.

Had a terrible experience. I paid for a ONE week intensive driving course with a practical test at the end of the week. £899 for 15 hours, roughly £60 an hour.
I received my first lesson and then didn’t recieve another driving lesson for another 1.5 months too which he gave little to no communication and ignored my calls. I finally got a second lesson; Joe made no effort to deliver the one week driving course I have paid for and could only offer 1 hour lesson a week to which he spent most of this on his phone. In November, after making several pleas for him to return my money as I was due to loose my job in February if I could not legally drive, he convinced me to let him carry on with the lessons as he could not afford to pay back my money. I had no choice as it was clear he would not be giving me a refund and I did not have the addiontal money to find a different driving instructor. Finally at the end of January, after cancelling my Monday lesson (only getting a text 30 minutes after it was supposed to start) and also not arriving to our rearranged Tuesday lesson I decided to pursue retrieving my money back from him for undelivered services. So here we are 6 months later from booking, only 7 hours of driving lessons completed after using all of my savings to pay for a ONE WEEK intensive course
After 1 month of pursuing a refund for undelivered services I only received half of what I have paid, and still charging the elevated price for “intensive” lessons at £60 an hour.
Joe is lucky I can’t share screen shot evidence of the one sided conversation between us.
The whole situation caused me so much stress and I lost my job. I’m still currently taking him to small claims to receive that last of my owed money

Uncle Joe is a go to person for any learner driver to pass their test 1st time. I recommend his instructions very much and he's very clear on spoting the issues and correcting it by giving you the practice over and over. I can proudly say that I clear my test with 0 minors today.

Driving clicked straight away for me with Joe as an instructor after trying and giving up multiple times before with previous instructors. I was nervous beforehand but he made me feel completely calm and at ease from our first lesson. I just passed first time thanks to Joe. Thank you so much!

I have used few instructor to help me with my Driving, however I have not had one like Mr Uncle Joe's, he's way of doing it give you the confidence and the desire to learn.
I was happy and impressed by his patience and years of experience that he put in to use to identify what is needed to improve your driving,
His honest approaches in recommending the number of lessons you need to improve your overall ability and understanding of what is needed for your pass was also helpful.

My experience with uncle joes driving school was amazing. He taught me so much in only around 3 months and I ended up passing first time. Would really recommend :)

I spent weeks looking for the right driving instructor to have refresher courses. From the first time I spoke with Joe, I felt at ease, which helped build my confidence. Joe was able to explain techniques and strategies in numerous different ways that helped me grasp the material. After 4 lessons, I passed my driving test with no minor or major faults, which wouldn’t have happened without Joe’s support 😊

Joe has really helped support me to pass my driving test and build my confidence as a driver. Joe has been attentive to my concerns his teaching methods are extremely helpful- I remember theory and driving skills with ease because of this. Joe is always in a positive mood and he takes time to develop a rapport with you so that the lessons are enjoyable. He always is happy to go out of his way to help book me test cancellations and get me test dates as soon as possible. I would recommend Joe as an instructor to anyone as he is super approachable, friendly, kind and knowledgeable when it comes to driving!

I would recommend Joe’s driving school to everyone! What an amazing instructor. After having had some bad experiences with a previous instructor, Joe restored the confidence that I’d lost and the faith in my ability! I used to be nervous about my lessons but with Joe, I began to look forward to them and enjoy being behind the wheel. If you are looking for someone who is kind, calm, professional and someone who is going to be your biggest supporter then I can’t stress enough that Joe is that person! I can’t even put into words how AMAZING Uncle Joe is. When I started my lessons with Uncle Joe, I was probably the least confident person you could imagine behind the wheel. I was terrified. I didn’t even think I was cut out to drive. The thought of being on the motorway? Absolutely out of the question. Parking? Forget it I couldn’t even wrap my head around the basics.
But Uncle Joe? He saw something in me that I couldn’t see in myself. He didn’t let me give up, no matter how much I doubted myself. Every time I felt like I couldn’t do it, he’d find a way to break things down and make me believe I could. He has this incredible way of explaining things so they actually stick, and he’s endlessly patient, calm, and encouraging.

His belief in me was unshakable, and he didn’t just teach me to drive; he gave me confidence I never thought I could have. Driving on the motorway felt like an impossible dream, but Uncle Joe worked his magic, broke it down step by step, and now I can do it without even thinking twice.

And parking? Don’t get me started. I used to panic at the thought of it, but Uncle Joe made it all make sense. Parallel, reverse, bay you name it, I can do it now, all thanks to him.

Honestly, Uncle Joe is so much more than a driving instructor. He’s a motivator, a confidence booster, and honestly, a miracle worker. If you’re scared, nervous, or just completely unsure of yourself, he is the one you want teaching you. I can’t recommend him enough. He didn’t just help me learn to drive, he helped me change my life. Thank you, Uncle Joe you’re simply the BEST

My boyfriend came across joe when my previous instructor had cancelled numerous times and my test was fast approaching. Joe was very quick to book me in and ensure he had time to see me multiple times before my test. Joe was very kind, funny, knowledgeable and patient, going over anything I felt I needed more practise on. After failing my test (my nerves got the best of me) Joe made it his duty to help me book another test and stick with me until I passed. Couldn’t recommend a better instructor, thanks Joe!

I think I was lucky to be trained by Uncle Joe for my driving test. Overall I had a pleasant experience thankfully to his patience in teaching and the techniques and tips which improved my driving. Through the lessons my confidence was built which made driving more enjoyable. The lessons have taught me not only to pass the test but to become a safe driver on road too.
