Order did not arrive (again)

Order did not arrive (again), can't get through on customer service (again), no-one rings you back on the so-called call-back service. Ordered and paid a week ago.
Shambles. Better options elsewhere.

Delivery failure and poor communication

We made an online order of the recipe kits be delivered on a scheduled day. The courier was yodel (historically unreliable!). The delivery failed to appear, after contacting the team via email I was ignored and when I called I was put on a “wait list” and then cut off and told nobody was available. I’m still waiting to hear from pasta evangelist, seems to be no urgency or care when dealing with customer issues. My order was for a planned dinner event tonight but this has completely ruined my plans. Simply not good enough! Wasted food and wasted money and time - extremely disappointed.

Money taken and order not delivered

Money taken and order not delivered - they are not answering calls, replying to emails to voicemails. Also cant cancel subscription. No idea how to actually contact them since all available contact details are unanswered - do not order with the company, I'm not suspecting they are fraudulently taking money.

No pasta and no contact made

I have emailed and called regarding my missing order to no avail.

My order was supposed to be sent on Monday 1st September. I received an email to apologise that it was not ready and a promise for it to be sent on Wednesday 3rd September. I emailed back to confirm I was happy with this.

Wednesday 3rd has been and gone and I am still yet to receive my order. I called and left a message to the team. I emailed. I received no email response. When the customer service team called me back on Wednesday at 19.18 they rung once and then hung up the call as soon as I answered.

This is highly rude and unprofessional. Terrible customer service. I no longer want the order and want a refund. However can not make contact with anyone.

This order was a second chance after another order was late as I was considering resubscribing monthly. I was subscribed when I lived else where a few years ago. Unfortunately I know now that they have become unreliable with terrible customer service. Now I will not be subscribing or using them as a one off ever again.

Missed delivery twice

It is common that deliveries some times are delayed or postponed, but when it involves fresh food is different. We made an order last week and it wasn't delivered within the specified time. We then complained and got a voucher (with a minimum spend of £10) that we claimed to get a delivery today. We received an email later this afternoon stating that the delivery would happen tomorrow. This is simply unacceptable and frustrating.

Delivery not received, no response

The company never delivered my order. I tried to call and email a few times. It’s been three days and I have had no communication whatsoever with them. Really terrible company which is a shame as I started to use them as soon as they launched back in 2017.

Order did not arrive

Order did not arrive, customer service didn’t answer the phone, or respond to emails. Finally got through after 20+ phone calls, they blamed the promotion they offered for the delay… don’t offer a promotion if you can’t fulfil it!

Delivery delayed by 5 days with no…

UPDATE 5 DAYS AFTER DELIVERY DUE: Box arrived - 24 hours in a van that was not chilled - opened box and 2 of the 3 plastic ice packs were burst and empty - contents of bags were not cold - food unsafe for consumption. All in bin. What a disgusting waste. Still not a peep from customer service - probably the some of the worst customer experience I have had.

Delivery delayed by 5 days with no explanation - for a company that is supposed to deliver meals and avoid meal planning and waste - this is a really poor experience resulting in me having to go out to the supermarket and shop for the week instead. I had been tempted back with a return offer but the lack of communication (despite me emailing them asking for an update) and the initial lack of an explanation (not to mention just telling me on the morning I was expecting a delivery) has made me rethink rejoining - there are other companies out there that provide a better meal delivery service that are far more reliable.

Order never arrived, no response from customer service

I ordered from Pasta Evangelists this past weekend, with delivery scheduled for Monday. The order never arrived. I reached out several times by email and phone but received no response at all. Very disappointing experience, both the failed delivery and the complete lack of communication.

The order was never delivered and company totally failing to rspond

The order was never delivered and response from the company as non existent. Despite the automated saying they would call me back, they don’t and I have called a lot! There has been no response to emails and no response to their chat support, who also always conclude by saying an agent will get back to me. I had cancelled my plan due to previous issues, but was enticed back by a good offer. Big mistake! Huge!

I really don’t like leaving negative…

I really don’t like leaving negative reviews but I had a recipe kit delivered this evening. The ‘cooling’ gels are warm and the food also feels warm. There is no hint of it feeling chilled so I have no option but to discard the lot. What a waste of food for the sake of poor packaging and slow delivery.

This was the first time we visited this…

This was the first time we visited this restaurant. We arrived on time, however our table was not ready, these things happen so wasn't too stressed about this. We were told to wait by the bar. No one came over to ask us if we wanted drinks. We were there 10 mins or so. The table was cleared and then we were asked to go to the table. It was at least another 10 mins before a waitress came over to us. After taking our order, we were not asked if we wanted any more drinks. The service just lacked lustre. I would like to say the food was great. Very delicious. When we asked for the bill. We were told they don't take cash. However when we went to pay the machines wouldn't put through the transaction. So again we waited for another 10 mins or so. We paid the service charge because that's what you do. But on hindsight we should not have. I was not happy when we left. Not sure I would go back again, because of the service .

I have had orders delivered that were…

I have had orders delivered that were missing half the items twice now. Trying to get the company to sort this out is nigh impossible. I will never use them again. After sending an email tonight ask where my replacement missing order was they sent me a request for feedback with five attachments which I can’t download. To say I’m annoyed is an understatement. Avoid !!

Pasta Evangelists stay clear horrendous place

Review of Pasta Evangelists

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Pasta Evangelists was beyond disappointing.
• Waiting Times: On multiple occasions I’ve had to wait over an hour for food to arrive. Even simple items took far too long, and a hot drink took more than 40 minutes to be served.
• Incorrect Orders: Dishes were repeatedly wrong, and when I raised this, instead of resolving the mistake I was essentially told I was lying. Being spoken to like this as a paying customer is unacceptable.
• Hygiene Concerns: On one occasion I even found hair in my food – something no customer should ever have to deal with.
• Customer Service: What shocked me most was the attitude. A woman behind the counter not only dismissed my concerns but openly called me a liar. This was directed not only at me, but I also witnessed similar treatment of other customers.

For a brand that markets itself on quality and authenticity, the reality couldn’t be further from the image. Long waits, poor hygiene, wrong dishes, and being insulted by staff make this one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.

I won’t be returning, and I’d strongly suggest management take a serious look at the way both the food service and customer service are being handled.

No excuses for these issues as we could have easily been turned away at the door but they chose to seat us & take our orders knowing how big o ur party was

These guys didn’t inform you of any dishes or drinks that had been out of stock but gladly took your order still

Not very good

I have been to my local branch a few times. I eat a lot of pasta in restaurants and I wanted to like it but this place is just not very good. The staff try hard but they appear to be very inexperienced and I don’t get the impression that the chef (if there is one) has any real connection with Italian food. The dishes I have had were poorly seasoned, bland and watery. The place also has no atmosphere.

I had a problem with the payment system and was double charged. After I discovered this I contacted their support and they quickly refunded the overpayment. I wish the product was as good as the support.
