The pasta was dry and over cooked
The pasta was dry and overcooked, the taste wasn't gteat, the meatballs were dry and the sauce they were in wasn'tgreat either, the cakes were pretty bland tasting. I spent over £70 and the only thing that actually didn't look or taste half bad was the focaccia bread but for £4.50 I don't think its worth the small little slice you get. I definitely wouldn't order from here again and I wouldn't recommend ordering from here either, it doesn't fill you and is a waste of money, we binned everything I ha ordered after trying it. They had a promotion on if you gave a 5* review you'd get credit added to your uber or deliveroo account depending what you ordered on i did this but didn't actually get any credit so that was obviously just a lie. Stay away from this place my family members had stomach ache and other issues after trying some of the food and to say alot was binned and only a small amount was tasted it says it all really
Room for Improvement
I attended the Taste of Amalfi experience in Farringdon on the 27th July. While the staff were polite and the prosecco was of good quality, the overall experience fell short of expectations.
The event lacked the authentic Italian warmth and energy that makes similar experiences truly special. Although Aneta led the session capably, the group size (around 30 people) made it difficult to fully engage. We were given basic tools — small plastic scrapers and in my case a child-sized rolling pin — while Aneta used professional equipment, which created a bit of a disconnect.
Facilities could use improvement: there was only one sink in a unisex toilet for everyone to wash their hands, and aprons were reused from previous sessions, which raised some hygiene concerns.
While in my case, inspite of the thick pasta ravioli pieces made, it turned out tasty thanks to the pre-prepared fillings and sauces, the event didn’t quite match the fun and immersive feel of other pasta workshops I’ve attended. I chose this one mainly because it was available on a Sunday, but I’d recommend smaller groups, improved equipment, and better facilities for a more enjoyable experience.
Best carbonara here in the UK

Pasta Academy - Richmond - 5 Stars!
We visited the Richmond restaurant for the Pasta Academy beginners course. We loved it! Chef Marcus was brilliant and was so good at making it simple for beginners. Food was delicious.
Overpriced really small portions
We spent £18 for a ridiculous amount of food. It's pasta, put some more! it's not lobster! The flavor is ok. Pesto is insanely salty though.
They are either very stingy with portions or they sent us the wrong size.
Not ordering again.

Undercooked pasta with hardly any sauce. Couldn’t even see the beef as there was so little.

We went for the pasta making in Richmond. Mark the chef was great and really talked us through it. Would be good if there was a cheaper option for those not drinking which was our only issue.

Had a fab time and the chef tutor was really knowledgeable and we learnt a lot!
Not great
Ordered a bolognese and turn up hot but had just pasta and a bolognese sauce and no mincemeat also this portion size was a large and this turn out to be a small portion so did not think it was worth what I paid for would look to buy elsewhere
A fun pasta making class
It was a fun afternoon and enjoyed making pasta for the first time. Made pasta bianca (gnocchi with Durham wheat and water). The Sardinian chef made it easy to follow and kept the class engaged with some fun, relaxed banter!
The room was comfortable with air conditioning. The table was set and laid with all we needed to follow the class. We were able to wear aprons which were provided. Prosecco was free flowing and there were two pre made sauces to choose from to go with the pasta we made. It was a lovely relaxed group of around 10/12 people 😊.
The only negative I would say is we had to eat with a bamboo fork .. I think proper cutlery should be provided!
Great class
Great class, very engaging and well explained, and the meals were delicious.
Service is great, food not so.
Service is great, food is not. They use that fake wet, salty chicken that all the chains use. Whetherspoon, Pizza Express, all use this horrendous fake chicken that is bad quality and boiled with salt to make it seem tender. My old manager went to the factory and saw it being made.
It is horrendous, won't be coming back.
Fun pasta making class
We visited the Chiswick branch of Pasta Evangelists to take part in the pasta making class and it was a fun hands-on learning experience including Prosecco (or non-alcoholic alternative). The chefs boiled our freshly made pasta and offered us sauces to accompany our creations. The teacher was so bubbly and fun that time flew and by the end of the class we all had a new skill!
The food was unfortunately below…
The food was unfortunately below expectations, with quality resembling pre-made supermarket meals. Additionally, the order was incorrect upon delivery. It appeared that the chef was also responsible for serving and cleaning, which may have impacted the overall dining experience. (Richmond Shop)
Good gone bad
The pasta is great, the service is not. I try to order my pasta 4 weeks before delivery but they cut it back to 2 weeks at best. Even less now.
When the team packs your bag with a surprise mix, they screw you over on every occasion. Today, we received 2x the same Beef Angilotti when we have ordered veggie options for 90% of all orders.
No chat to complain. No consideration for customers. A shame. A good idea which has gone bad on execution

The food is always well made and put together.
The packaging for delivery could not be better with the ice packs making sure it arrives fresh.
Delicious!
Had our first delivery and have to say we are impressed. The meals are very easy to put together. The meals themselves are delicious restaurant quality. Portions are plentiful.
Would definitely recommend.
Failed at the first hurdle and still…
Failed at the first hurdle and still waiting! Our son and girlfriend paid for a gift voucher for a pasta making course. All good you would think. Went to book and gift voucher is not accepted. Called and spoke to someone who passed me to another telephone number. She told me we had the wrong voucher code! It had changed! It hadn't,the voucher had expired but we did not have an expiry date. I wrote to pasta evangelist and they said there was an problem and they sent it off to be resolved. Today they came back about my query on if the locations are dog friendly?? Omg so confused. I just want to book and use my voucher. We don't have a dog just a useless voucher that cost £136 that we are unable to use. Absolutely hideous customer service. Not confident they will resolve as can't even get who they are speaking to right! Please can someone contact me from this company.
Great experience!
My wife organized pasta making as a birthday treat. What a wonderful experience. The anti pasti was tasty and the Prosecco flowed ! Monica and Hasnat were very patient and great teachers ! Would highly recommend this as an experience to others !
The experience in Richmond wasn’t great
The experience in Richmond wasn’t great, 1 star! They mixed up everyone’s dishes so ultimately we didn’t get to taste our own cooking. The classroom chef blamed the restaurant kitchen staff and the restaurant blamed the classroom chef who was hired and brought in for this experience. The experience itself is not in the restaurant, but in a dark windowless basement room. Also, the bottomless Prosecco is not free flowing and you have to wait for the teaching chef to top up between his class.
